Beautiful hotel with great staff. Especially the guys on the door. Super helpful.
The only downside was the bed felt damp during the night as if the air con wasn't removing the moisture. The control only allowed adjustment of the temperature. Other than that I loved it

This hotel has passed its prime. The hotel staff is on constant edge & stressed out from all the events & conferences that take place simultaneously. Also, minimal flexibility with just about everything due to overlapping conferences.

A little slice of relaxation in the middle of Bangkok. Staff were helpfull, the pool was nice and the river view amazing.

Hotel service is brilliant but certain things are starting to look a bit tired & worn. Stayed for a week in an Horizon Club room. Club lounge seats were a bit frayed and they could do with a bit more variety in food & canapés on offer. The selection of food for breakfast in the Next Cafe was very much the same every day & they no longer offer fresh coconut milk from the nut.
We will probably return again

Stayed in the Krungthep wing, which means a short walk to the other wing for breakfast during the week. Decor of the room was ok but needs a bit of a makeover. Had a river view room with a balcony, which was great. Great location beside the river boat and sky train station.

Room 1554 from 8-12 of August. Lobby and facilities are great, however room is very dated, does not keep up to standards of a 5 star hotel and other ShangriLa hotels I’ve stayed at. Will provide similar review on other platforms.

Very kind and helpful staff. The service is very slow so if you want something, I recommend walking down the street to get what you need. It took 30 minutes to get a shave kit from reception. I could have walked to 7/11, purchased a shave kit and been back in 10 minutes.

The hotel is fantastic. a guarantee for when I visit Bangkok. very high level service. quality and quantity of services. Exceptional breakfast. Stunning location facing the river and a stone's throw from the Iconosiam shopping center. (with free boat service). close to the "skytrain". highly recommended.

Horizon club service was very slow, it seems they did not have enough personal. Variety of food served for breakfast was limited compared to other horizon clubs I have stayed in
The service desk at the horizon club was always empty, no one there to help

Fabulous rooms with balconies overlooking to river. It can get noisy if the balcony door is open with whistles, traffic etc. But its all Bangkok! Pool is so relaxing, there are two. The further one is quieter. Loungers are like beds. So comfortable. Water is availabke by the pool.

Was looking forward to the stay having been to Shard, Hong Kong and Australia in the past. I was very disappointed. Foyer and bar area were ok but bedrooms are tired and the breakfast was very poor. Almost chaotic, queues to get in and the food was not great. Had tipped them off I was vegan but nothing really. The other things like the pastries were poor and the coffee was a shocker. Staff not particularly attentive. Will not be going back.

I asked for a room with high floor and quiet.but they gave me the lowest and loudest room.so I was uncomfortable all 3 days it was really tiring trip.Is it again!!!!
