We had an amazing stay at the property!

Overall good food. Excellent service. ALL staff has an eye for excellence in service. Beautiful beach and good drinks. Kids club was very fun for our 5 year old. Room was comfortable and clean but the bathroom is in need of a lil upgrade- the tiles are looking tired and gives an impression of not being too clean. My other complaint is the desserts throughout (from the coffee shop to the restaurants) are very, very bad. They should really change some dessert providers. There’s only two pools which seems insufficient and was particularly disappointed their main castle slides were closed due to remodeling but they didn’t communicate it or offered something in return. That was the main reason we chose that hotel.

I made a reservation with the wrong date. I corrected it and rebooked it, but the hotel didn’t give me a refund.

Very good location right on the beach. All staff are outstandingly helpful and courteous. The food and drink selections are excellent. A number of different theme restaurants are available. The bed room we had (on the lagoon side) was v comfortable On negative aspect: the pool is too small for the size of the hotel. Its often too noisy with loud music in the pool area particularly in the afternoons.

Everything was excellent except the room. I booked the family room with Benky bed. They gave me the room on first floor which is very close to the lobby. At night the party and show lasted until 11am so I couldn’t sleep until it finished. We switched to the second floor and it was all good then. Otherwise, it is very kids friendly and restaurants are good. We satisfied with the hotel.

Our recent stay at Wyndham Alltra Cancun was unfortunately quite disappointing, especially considering the high expectations we had based on its advertised family-friendly facilities. The main reason we chose this hotel was for its water park and waterslides, which we thought would be perfect for our children. However, these facilities were closed for 90% of our stay. Given that this was the highlight for us when booking, it was a major letdown and affected the entire experience. We also had high hopes for our honeymoon celebration. We requested a bottle of champagne to be waiting in our room upon check-in, which the staff kindly acknowledged in their email communication prior to our arrival. Sadly, the champagne was not delivered as promised, and it was only after I emailed the front desk again that we finally received it—24 hours later. While the gesture was appreciated, the timing had already passed, and the moment was not quite the same. The lack of attention continued at check-out, where we were not even asked how our stay had been. This was quite surprising and left a negative final impression. I have never stayed at a hotel where staff didn’t show any interest in the guest’s experience upon departure. On the plus side, the beach was beautiful, and the Italian and Mexican restaurants offered good food, but room service was dry and flavorless. While some staff were friendly, communication in english was difficult. For us the experience was poor.
