Nice location but the rooms are getting old, especially the bathrooms.

Everything was fine except the attitude of staff. We very much didn't fit the majority of clientele they had due to many conferences/Business meetings on site. We felt this in the way we got treated when asking questions etc. They didn't really have “time” for us.

We had an enjoyable stay at the
Fairmont. I took a bike ride for a spin, and we at some cookies at the lounge. Other than that we didn’t use many of the amenities, but the property was very nice and the staff were all friendly and helpful!

Lovely property in a great location, with very helpful staff. One significant challenge was the noise from the on site lounge /club (The Bungalow) which was so loud we had to buy earplugs. We expected better from a Fairmont.

Very beautiful property, we had to use a service elevator during our stay (due to construction) but it's understandable. The complementary wine and chocolates made up for it. Overall, a great anniversary weekend getaway.

Unfortunately sleeping was difficult due to the nightly parties on the premises. We were high up but could still hear the noise.
New pillows are required.

The hotel was fine. Sofa bed very small - room outdated and not that clean. Pool Service was very slow and not great. For the price it should have been much better.

The music from the bungalow side of the hotel was way too loud on Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday and Sunday. Lasted until 2:00 am on Friday, Saturday.Next time we stay here we stay on the other side of the hotel.

Property is beautiful and in a perfect location. However, the rooms weren't ready when we arrived twenty minutes after check in.
I felt like we didn't get our money's worth.
Unfortunately, because I booked through orbits. They were not able to refund me any of my room cost

This is our second time staying at the Fairmont Miramar. Loved it the first time, but can’t say the same this time. We did not realize our room was facing the restaurant in front of the hotel and we could hear music blasting until midnight. Took forever for our toddler to fall asleep. Otherwise the room was comfortable and had incredible amenities.

The hotel staff was welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Perfect location a short walk to the Santa Monica beach and pier.

The hotel was an hour and 15 minutes late to check us in. Beds and sheets weren’t comfortable, shower didn’t drain and faucets were leaky. Staff was friendly but service was slow. For $1,500 / nt. I expected a lot more.

Front desk and house keeping very friendly. Sitting areas in lobby, front of the hotel, and poolside are excellent ways of enjoying the property. Some of the smaller rooms with ocean views have been stylishly updated. Much of the other rooms and suites in definite need of similar updating. Room key operated elevators / property access would be a solid security upgrade during evening hours. Overall would recommend the Fairmont Miramar especially when factoring in it’s location

Nice hotel that has a few key flaws. First, it's literally unbearable to be on the side of the hotel facing the night club (odd number rooms), especially below the top floor. There is pounding club music starting around 5p and going until 2a. It's literally unbearable and there is no way anyone could sleep through it. We requested and were moved to top floor of opposite side of hotel and the view was lovely and was quiet. Second, the pool is small and very crowded - almost impossible to get a chair and no attendees to help. There is a side section on the lawn, but not much room. Third, elevators failing so had to use service elevators entire time. Front desk and bar service were great. Valet ran about $60 per night for reference

Although my stay was overall fine but there were definitely few areas for improvement. The bathtub was leaky, elevators did not work for 2 days, kitchen closes at 10, soap dispensers in women’s bathroom didn’t have soap for entire stay, no housekeeping for half my stay. Staff is great. Polite and courteous. Food was fine. Beautiful location and property but needs to be maintained and maybe some parts renovated.

The elevators were not working for 2 days and being on the 10th floor, had to walk up and down the stairs as the service elevator wasn’t reliable either.

Only one elevator worked. Then this went down and had to use service elevator for two days. Had to move rooms because of clogged bath drain. Very loud until 2 am secondary to night club out door below

Room was outdated and the oceanfront balcony did not have a view at all.

Arrived to be told we had a horrible room for outside noise (they had an outdoor bar that was open until 2am) and that we should request to be moved. We requested and were moved the second night for the remainder of the stay to a worse room without a balcony or window that opened, backing into elevator area. Housecleaning staff took a bag of stuff off the desk area from our room and we were able to get it back. No room at the pool, no towels and overall not great service. Wouldn’t return. A few friendly staff but overall not at all worth what you pay.
