Another pleasant stay at this hotel. Excellent for the Hydro with very nice staff who are attentive and very pleasant. Food was good and bar was busy but staff were superb in dealing with it all.

Made a genuine mistake with dates. Meant to book 23rd and NOT 29th. I immediately called to change date but was not able to therefore I lost all my money!

Very handy for visit to Hydro

This is our 3rd time staying at this hotel. Very convenient for attending an event at the Hydro. Good breakfast, their vegetarian sausages at breakfast are yummy. This stay our door didn’t lock when closed as you could open it from the outside. This was quickly rectified. The room has a mini fridge which is fab. Apart from the inconvenience of the door not working on arrival we only had one other downfall. The roll of extra toilet paper had obviously been sitting for a while and had some black mould on it along with around 10 little bugs crawling on it. We didn’t need extra toilet roll and didn’t notice it until the morning of check out but was a little disappointing and has made us look elsewhere for our next stay in a couple of weeks time.

Ismail on reception was very welcoming and informative. Room looked onto the river which was lovely. Rooms were spotless. Extra bonus was having a fridge. Only downside, the housekeeper left no tea and coffee, but easily rectified by reception.

Check in was busy which was fine, our rooms corridor had an awful smell there were no alternative rooms available due a conference being on in the hotel The smell continued to be there thought the whole stay it was quite unpleasant

Can’t fault stay at all would highly recommend and from check in to check out all staff very friendly and welcoming and nice to have different opinions for breakfast & waffle making was a definite hit

Our go to hotel for when we need a place to stay for a concert at the OVO. Excellent.

Lovely stay with my two friends. VIsiting Craft Show. So handy. Staff were so nice and friendly and made us feel so welcome. . Lovely breakfasts and we had evening meal on the friday . Very good indeed. Hope to return next year. return for show next year.

For the price it was very good . Comfy beds and a good breakfast . Staff very attentive and friendly which makes a huge difference to your stay . Only grumble is that you can hear other guests coming back to their rooms in the early hours and walls seem quite thin - could hear people in adjoining room on the toilet !! But would definitely stay hear again .

We loved and enjoyed our stay, lovely location close to amenities and city centre. Aircon/heating instruction and control system was not working which was reported at check out. Given the name and stars expected much cleaner and finishing in bathroom not up to the mark.

Stayed at the hotel when attending a concert. Has requested a low floor but ended up on the top floor! Not enough staff on the bar when the concert finished to cope with everyone looking for an after concert drink. Rooms very clean .

Have stayed in this hotel before would stay again but could do with a couple of extra pillows and carpet in room a bit tired and top of table needing fixed but al in all a great hotel very comfortable

Good comfortable stay, good part of town. About a mile walk to anything, but the center of town didn’t feel safe or clean.

Our room was dated but clean. Other people staying at the same property said their room was very modern, so I guess we just got an old room sadly.

We liked the outside facilities beside the river..nice to sit with a drink. Yummy buffet in the morning..nice friendly staff in the morning too.
