Great location, comfortable room, great gym. Breakfast is good but could have more options.

This was my first time staying at this hotel. The staff were amazing. My room was great and spacious. The breakfast buffet was plentiful, and good, although there were a couple days when all the tables were taken and had to wait for a clean table. I will stay here when i visit Singapore again!.

The Carlton is a beautiful hotel but we had a disappointing stay. We contacted the hotel when we booked to inform them of my wife’s allergy to feathers and they acknowledged this. However when we came to check in, they informed us they would have to change the room and we would have to wait 30 minutes. This was disappointing after we had been travelling for 16 hours but we went for a drink and came back. Unbelievably when we came back the room still contained a cushion full of feathers which we had to ask to removed immediately. Furthermore, when we checked out I asked for a receipt but this request was ignored by the dismissive member of reception staff. Do not stay in this hotel if you have allergies or want to be treated with respect.

Stayed in room 1535. The good thing about the room, was that it was requested high floor and quiet. Cleanliness in the toilet was impeccable, with minimum water stains and fresh towels and amenities laid out. However, I was quite disappointing upon arrival to find the room slightly damp. The carpet was damped to the touch, it is worse by the table at the bay window. The bedsheets wasn't as dry and crisp, and there was a musty smell in the air. The aircon had a low groan throughout the night. There was a missing bulb socket at the bay window and the cabinets all had worned edges. The complimentary water bottle had a light layer of dust which I assumed had been standing there for a while, which I wouldn't dare to consume. The room desperately needed a dehumidifier and also a regular schedule of cleaning (even when there is no occupancy). I was only there for a night to reactivate Hotel.com account (because Hotel.com wouldn't give me a waiver since their acct had issues from dec last year and I couldn't book my May 2024 trip hotels, and my account became stagnant) but other than the prime location (just next to Chijmes and CityHall mrt station), I doubt I will revisit the hotel again.

Reception desk was outstanding!!! Naz worked a long time with my smart phone to help get a visa for Taiwan. Very patient and persvering!

Very nice hotel in central area close to City Hall RMT. Room very clean. Bed comfortable. Bed linen changed daily. All staff very helpful.

Great location being close to a few mrt stations, impeccably clean and very helpful staff

Loved my stay there...the room was clean, the hotel was expansive and elegant. Food was good. Room service was good. The few times I interacted with the front desk...they just seemed so unpleasant. No smiles. No personality. Nothing. To be fair it was mainly one woman I spoke with a few times. Other than that - it was a great stay.

Everything excellent.

Pluses: Staff were very courteous and helpful. Minuses: the layout of the room is very dated and poorly designed. 1) Water from the shower cubicle run into the adjacent WC cubicle. 2) there is a gap between the vanity and the wall panel that separates the bed; the gap allows dirt and dust to gather on the floor and is impossible for cleaners to access to clean it; 3) the rubber mat in the shower has been so hardened due to ageing that makes it dangerous to stand on it 4) the room provided only two mugs, no cups and no saucers; 5) no blackout curtain

The lighting for the shower, vanity area. You must have electric outlet for hair dryer in the bathroom (premium rooms) The outlet is not for your provided hair dryer.

Arrived early at the hotel, staff kindly arranged early check in at 12 pm (official 3 pm) and upgraded the room. Had a good rest. Staff at the counter was also friendly and helpful. Most pleasant stay.

Breakfast buffet was excellent. Staff at concierge desk were extremely friendly and helpful. Location very good close to MRT City Hall or Bugis. Walking distance to Bugis street shopping and good restaurants. Rooms were comfortable and very clean.

We were given a room with a building adjacent. The reservation staff were not very helpful. Housekeeping was amazing and clean. Concierge etc were very nice.

Loved it, friendly staff - had executive access gave us free breakfast , drinks and dinner and free laundry 2 items per day! Only drawback was no usb points in room lucky I carry a universal power adapter ! Shopping centre and MRT across the road and walking distance to Clarke Quay and Bugis…

The property is very conveniently located to major shopping, dining areas and the MRT for access to other attractions.

Stayed for 9 nights and was perfect location near several MRT lines, restaurants, and convenient stores. Hotel was clean, price was reasonable, and staff were friendly and helpful. Would stay again!

This was my first trip to Singapore and the location was convenient to everywhere I wanted to go. The entire hotel and the guest rooms are clean and I would like to use it again next time. The only thing that bothered me was the weak water pressure in the shower.

Great location to explore the area around Raffles City and very close to Marina Bay as well. Property is well maintained, breakfast buffet has a good variety.
