My favourite hotel in delhi. Everything about it is is fantastic

A good location excellent room amenities better than some 5 star i Stay. Before wonderful spa.

The service was great. We really enjoyed the breakfast, there were a lot of options. Our room was cleaned daily by Jatendra who was friendly and ensured we had everything for a comfortable stay, We had drinks and snacks at the horizon lounge and Anjali really provided outstanding service.

The cx at the buffet

Very nice place!

The food option for Indians were not great. If you want European breakfast and American breakfast it’s great. Tons of options. However, we leave the US for Delhi to have Indian food. The buffet is $20 plus tax per person. We hardly ate cause we wanted more veg Indian food. Staff was great! The hotel itself is great very pleasing to the eye.

Just spent my first night in Delhi here. Approximately 35min from the airport. Friendly greeting and they took care of my bags to the room. Quick and easy checkin. Nice room with good standards. Very quiet aircondition. Small outdoor pool, and it's very noisy traffic behind the bushes/wall. Breakfast was excellent with top service and a lot to choose from. Highly recommended hotel.

The service, staff is excellent.

This is one of the best hotel properties we have stayed so far. Friendliness and Service of the hotel staff as well as the food and wine quality were outstanding.

Fabulous hotel the staff really do after you!

Going in the winter time, you'd figure there would be some heating but there is none. It's freezing at night. There is an extra comforter in the closet but it smelled like it hadn't been washed in years. I couldn't use it. I got electrocuted from the clothing iron because the wire was exposed from the cord near the plug. It happened twice because I didn't realize what it was the first time. Old clothing iron. My in-room safe broke twice and I had to call management two separate times because the batteries died out. Each time took 30 min of waiting. The only good part was the buffet. Overall, this hotel is not 5 stars and doesn't live up to the name. The surrounding area is just a busy road with no sidewalk. It's not in a walkable area.

Great room, great complimentary amenities including a pool, outdoor jacuzzi, indoor jacuzzi, steam room, and sauna. Cafe next to the lobby was Mister Chai, a little pricey but great cup of tea. Had a restaurant on site, Shang Palace, delicious chinese food. Had breakfast daily on site at Tamra, solid breakfast. Even got a massage at the spa, Chi, and really enjoyed it.

Hotel Erik was great . However when we went to the grappa bar…ordered things of menu that were not available ie Tap Beer and Chardonnay…. We expected better of this standard this hotel was supposed to be and was charging

it was a very good experience . the staff was very helpful. The hotel was clean and upto the standard expected.

Room was very comfortable and the Executive Room was worth the money

We have been always a fan of Shangri-la, but this experience at Delhi completely changed that, we will never stay at a Shangri-la again. We arrived almost 11pm, exhausted, the front door staff “ordered” us to scan our luggage, it felt that we are passing an airport security check, then at the front desk, we were told that our executive suite (for which we paid for USD $500 per night and on Ecpedia site advertised “Sleep 5”) can only have two adults; they surcharged us our 18 year old child, when we showed to them what Expedia site said, they blamed on Expedia for false advertisement. I subsequently asked them to write a letter so that we can show to Expedia, they then backed out from their story. Also when one of our friend questioned the need to scan every passport including the minors, the front desk manager threatened not giving us any room (leaving us to the street)

It was an amazing stay. My pickup and airport drop off was easy. I would definitely stay at the Shangri La again!

Very disappointing both in service and quality of the food. Given the premium pricing, I would not recommend this hotel at all.

Pros: clean, amazing breakfast. Flexible and allowed us to reduce one night of our stay. Cons: staff is friendly but not competent. They sold us an upgrade only to realize a day later it wasn’t available for our entire stay and we had to change rooms in between. Hotels seems to think it is ok to run telemarketing campaigns for restaurant bookings. It was very annoying to get calls in the afternoon when our kids were sleeping.
