Stayed in 2 bedroom apartment but there was no cleaning service for the 4 nights. Both toilets didn't flush properly and no air conditioning so it was very hot. Plug sockets were scarce in the bedrooms too. Good points are the hotel itself is beautiful with amazing views from the rooftop bar. Lovely woodlands area to sit and chill and staff were helpful and friendly. City centre shopping was reachable by foot in 10 minutes.

Such a lovely hotel! The staff were so great, friendly & helpful. The decor is beautiful and the drinks and dining options are good with such a lovely vista over the city. The location is a bit out of town and uphill but we did walk it on a couple of occasions and taxi the rest! I would certainly recommend 👍

My husband and I stayed at this hotel twice this month while working in Cork, and we had a wonderful experience both times. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, and the staff are incredibly accommodating and friendly. On our first stay, we booked an Executive Room, which was spacious, impeccably clean, and had a very comfortable bed along with a smart TV. The only improvement I would suggest is adding a mini refrigerator, as there wasn't one, and there was no air conditioning, although I understand that's not as common in Ireland. During our second stay, we were in a King Room. Although it was smaller, it was just as clean, with a comfortable bed, though this room lacked both a smart TV and a refrigerator. The food and views were also fantastic. Overall, this is an amazing place to stay!

A beautiful hotel with a real wow factor. We were warmly welcomed and looked after from the moment we. Our room was lovely although the bathroom was due an update. Thats our only gripe. The bars and restaurants were stylishly decorated and the service was excellent. Sitting out at night on the terrace was a highlight.

Good facilities (sauna, pool, cinema), however the tv didnt work (bad signal) and wasn’t modern enough to allow Netflix or similar. Service was really bad trying to get drinks on the terrace. Otherwise staff were so friendly and the breakfast was great.

It's known for its unique position with a steep entrance, The hard right is challenging for newer drivers on the left!!! This hotel was super friendly and efficient service at the desk. The impressive breakfast spread was so worth it!!! Additionally, The Montenotte offers fantastic views over Cork city due to its elevated position, which adds to its charm. We didn't use the other features but toured before we left the cinema and a well-equipped gym.

We had a great time and the hotel was nice. Great outdoor dining space. The room was fine.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is super nice and has great views. The food is great and breakfast at the Panoramic is a must at least once on your stay. Our room happened to be situated above the gym/cardio room so we kept hearing a machine beeping throughout the night (I think it needed to be reset or something). The location is somewhat removed from the city so getting into downtown is a small walk. We ended up taking a taxi back to the hotel each time we ventured out, which cost about €8-9. There are closer neighborhoods and pubs if you don't want to venture so far down.

Very upscale with a nice restaurant. The view over Cork was magnificent. Easy walk to the city center, was very convenient.

We absolutely loved our stay here … the service was excellent and the view from the terrace overlooking Cork was magical . We also enjoyed the breakfast at the hotel too ! Highly recommended

Excellent stay in The Residences at The Montonotte. Service was top notch at check in and with any questions we had. Wonderful meal in the restaurant and a delightful evening of cocktails in The Glasshouse. The apartment we had was spacious, clean and well-stocked with everything we needed for our stay. Wonderful experience.

This hotel was incredibly clean and inviting. The view is gorgeous. The apartments are enormous! The front desk staff was SOOOOO nice. We had to leave before the restaurant opened on two of the days of our stay, and the front desk staff MADE my husband coffee at no charge! The parking was tight-- my only negative (but there is construction going on). Otherwise, I would advise EVERYONE to stay at this beautiful and friendly gem in Cork!

Beautiful location, gorgeous property. Excellent accommodations. This is definitely more appropriate for adults, less ideal for families with kids. Hotel was still amazing.

We had a huge apartment - 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, full kitchen, etc. everything was in working order only down side was construction going on outside windows

The staff were attentive and made the stay very welcoming. Breakfast was delicious, would recommend highly x

The property was absolutely gorgeous, with gorgeous views, rooms, and an easy walk to everything, yet away from the noise. The staff was exceptionally sweet and kind. Gavin greeted us by our names each day. Thank you, Gavin, all the sweet girls, just thank you everyone! I was upset about a cloggage as well as a laundry machine mishap that kept me up the night before our departure and they bent over to help get our issue resolved. I would only suggest making it clear that breakfast is not included in the stay in the resident rooms, nor is room service available. Also, get different options for washer and dryers because the combo ones in there just don't work! Overall, a charming and lovely stay making us love Cork. We will definitely stay again and suggest to others.

A nice hotel situated up a fair hill, room style was a little dated but more than adequate. Good facilities and fantastic staff

Property was fantastic. The pool and sauna were relaxing. The grounds were beautiful and the lounge/patio provided fantastic views. Drive on the really skinny road up to the hotel was crazy!!

Beautiful property with scenic view of the entire city. Scenic elegant restaurant with gorgeous view of city. Excellent Fitness center. The only thing I would say is no air-conditioning in room but that’s only a problem if it’s over 20°! would stay again.

Don’t miss the hotel restaurant! The chef and service is fantastic. Beautiful view of the city and the hotel has a beautiful sculpture garden. Front desk staff wonderful, professional and extremely helpful.

The staff, hotel and amenities were fabulous. We rented an apartment would highly recommend cooking facilities (not that I did any of that on holiday) full size fridge, washing machine etc. The apartment was really great. One very important thing I need to make traveler’s aware of if driving yourself and not part of a tour. Ignore the sat nav directions it tells you to take lovers walk to the hotel do not do it what a nightmare. This road is only made for one car not two. Unfortunately we had the full experience of two cars coming either direction on this road what a nightmare. Even if you are the greatest driver this is going to be a nightmare. If the car comes out in one piece without any damage you will be very lucky. I asked the staff about this road and they all knew it was a nightmare not sure why the sat nav selects this route. There is another route you can take I believe it is Summerhill way better than the other route. Besides that nightmare road the hotel is fantastic. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

A nice hotel in a great location. Room was nice and very clean. Friendly staff and great amenities. We would definitely stay here again.
