Good stay

This small hotel, but it is very near Santa Monica pier and Venice Beach, I think it’s a great place to stay with a family or to go for business. The staff is really friendly and also really helpful.

Everything Is ok!!! Caffè wonderful!

Room was small. Windows were open when we got in the room. No AC, which was assumed in Southern CA. Although named Hotel it is a Motel.

We had a two night stay. The staff was super helpful and friendly. However the room didn’t have air conditioning, I needed to ask for a new iron and extra towels since there was 3 of us but only 2 towels. Only had beach towels to buy, not use. They do have a water filter in the lobby to refill water bottles. The outside is a cute pink aesthetic. You can save $10 by not having housekeeping come by. They have free breakfast items but just prepackaged muffins, apple juice, granola bars, and fruit cocktail. They say the lobby is open 24hrs but it’s locked at a certain point so you have to knock and sometimes they’ve stepped away so you have to wait for them to come back. But budget friendly and beds clean.

Very close to a busy street that’s noisy. No AC. However, the bed and bathroom are very comfortable and clean. No closet space to hang anything. Nespresso machine in room is great to use. Shower head is powerful. Friendly staff. Limited breakfast items: breakfast bar, apple and muffins.

Cleanness

Clean and comfortable room but no air conditioning. It was a bit hot and stuffy and the fan did little to chill things down

This is an old motor in that has been re-furbished. It is not fancy or wonderful but clean and comfortable. They have done a nice job on the grounds but it is still a motor inn with small rooms. I was surprised it got Wonderful, yet I just left all 5 stars. nothing fancy or exceptional.

Everything about this place was beautiful apart from the sound of sirens wailing all night long which kept mum awake through the night.

I took my dog on a road trip on Route 66 and we stayed at budget hotels on the way. So I thought I’d splurge and stay at a “nice” hotel when we got to Santa Monica. This hotel was the most expensive, but turned out to be the worst one out of the entire trip. First, they charge a $100 pet fee. I really wish I knew that earlier on. I was not expecting such an outrageous amount. I’ve stayed at hotels nicer than this with dogs and it was never that high. I asked why it’s so high and was told that it’s probably to prevent people with dogs from staying here. It makes sense. But, I wish I found a more dog friendly place (like every hotel we stayed at before coming here). The room wasn’t immaculate but clean overall. The decor is cute. The room was so small and noisy. We were in one of the rooms that faces the street and it got very loud. But the worst part of the room was that they don’t have any A/C. I was told I could open the windows. I didn’t feel particularly safe doing that since we were right in front of passing traffic. But my poor dog was very uncomfortable, so I opened the windows and had the smell of cigarette smoke directly outside my window. At least they gave us two fans which provided a little relief. But I felt so bad for my dog who was panting all night because of how hot it was. The beach was about a 20 minute walk away. I regret spending so much to stay here. It wasn’t worth it.

This is a sweet little boutique hotel with a personal touch. Very tastfully decorated, very clean, and fairly close to the beach/pier. I would recommended this hotel to others.

As far as motels go, it is great. Nice surprise was free use of electric bikes. I did not check about air conditioning before I booked. They don't have AC but they have fans.

Visitor should know that this is a motel, not a hotel, but the owners have done a very good job of making the property and rooms attractive and comfortable. Nespresso was a nice touch. Staff was great and they offered free electric bike rental. They did add on a resort fee however, but parking was free. Bathrooms are small and in early May we had no AC. It was a little stuffy at night, but cool by the morning. I recommend extending a counter from the sink over the back of the toilet. I would also recommend a larger TV and one that swivels right to left. I would recommend to visitors to get a two bed room if there are two of you. Overall, a nice stay and I would return as long as I can get a room away from the street.

For all the money it would have been nice to have a fridge or even a microwave in room but that’s my only complaint. It was a lovely room and close to everything.

A cutely renovated hotel/motel with convenient parking, close to the beach. The room we stayed was not huge but clean and comfortable. Recommended.

We loved everything about this place! From the staff members Enrique who was outstanding and went above and beyond! Rosa, Sindy, and Laura who always worked so hard everyday! Along with all the other staff! You were all AMAZING!! Would come back in a heartbeat! The bikes were an added bonus we looked forward to riding every day! Thank you all for an amazing time!!
