The rug was full with stains and the room was very cold when I arrived. Had to leave the air conditioning on all night for a decent temperature in the room (20-21C) but it made a lot of noise and never stopped. They only have 2 or 3 dedicated parking spaces for the hotel and it is very difficult to find a parking space in the area. I use to come here 1-2 times per year on business trips but unfortunately I will have to find a different place to stay.

The Hotel smell of cigarettes, the carpet in the bedroom were very dirty, bathroom leaking and very dated property. I requested for Expedia to refund me the second night as I had to book another hotel for our second night stay and I'm waiting for Expedia to confirm.

It is about 800 metres from the Vitosha pedestrian area. Very easy to get there. Taxi's are everywhere and compared to my home country very cheap. They have metres so you do not have to discuss with the driver. The hotel is great with a nice somewhat modern look. The staff is very helpfull. There is only one thing that should be changed and that is the refrigerator in the dining area. It makes far too much noise.

My only issue with hotel staff is that they were renovation or doing maintenance work and there was drilling / hammering and did not advise us prior booking. After complaining, they moved us to an upper floor where it was quiet.

The hotel is situated opposite the National Palace of Culture and associated park. This was lovely to walk around and very convenient for the trams and metro. It is also approx. 10 mins walk from Vitosha Blvd which is pedestrianised and has lots of bars/restaurants.
The staff were pleasant and helpful and the breakfast had many choices.
Our room, communal areas and the restaurant were tired and showed many signs of wear. Our overall impression is that of a budget hotel that would benefit from some refurbishment.
I raised my concerns with the management and they helped by cancelling the remainder of our stay and we moved to another hotel

the best of this property is the location . Staff is also very friendly and polite. I didn't like the quality of my room: very very old and needs a renovations. Bed linens was also very old . The hotel was much nicer couple years ago. Quality of the room doesn't matched the price per night!

Beautiful Hotel with a fantastic location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was very nice but could do with better carpets as there were loads of marks on it. Bathroom could have been cleaned better too but overall would recommend this hotel to others and happy to stay here again!

Good location for me. Clean and comfortable room. Staff were generally very helpful and breakfast was adequate. My main problem was the lack of restaurant facility in the evening, indeed I couldn't even get a cup of coffee except at breakfast.

Very bad stay, sadly. Reception does not speak proper English, water stopped working, terrible rattling noise on the 9th floor makes walls and Glases shake. We changed room and received a smokers room with very intense smell.

The panoramic room was spacious however it was not worth the extra money. The bathroom requires refurbishment.. The air con kept going off during the night making really uncomfortable to sleep in the heat. Had to keep adjusting the temperature until it came back on.
Breakfast was huge disappoint. Not much selection for vegetarians and the food was always cold. Breakfast was served till 10.30 however when we got there at 9.45 there wasn't much left and nothing was topped up.

The hotel is well located and the rooms are clean. The staff seem completely indifferent to the guests, and never greet. The breakfast is mediocre at best. Bacon is boiled and cold, the same with scrambled eggs. No variation in breakfast, and must be termed below average. You have to choose the hotel based on location and nothing else.

Wonderful hotel in the centre of Sofia. Easy access to the city on foot and a metro station right opposite if you need travel further. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms very comfortable. Would not hesitate to recommend it to any travellers to Sofia.

This is my second stay at this hotel.
The location is excellent as Vitosha Boulevard is right next to the hotel. Hotel is clean, breakfast is not so huge but pleasant.
On the negative notes the heating was unbearable. Had to sleep with open windows (whilst it was snowing outside) since it was so hot in the room. The heating is central so you can't shut it off or lower the temperature. Complained to reception next morning but they said nothing can be done about this. Another negative was the curtains were hanging down at the edges letting a lot of light and sun in the room in the morning.

The hotel is barely a 4 star, the lobby is very modest, although the room was panoramic it was very basic.
Two main things disrupted our stay: the A/C only work as heater and when we open the window at night to circulated cold air the cars street noises won't let you sleep.
The second issue is the curtains which let the day light enters from the sides and top, and the clips kept falling when using the curtains !!
During 3 nights we could not have a proper sleep, other than that the hotel is fi e

I was a little disappointed with the added charge for eating the cookies and drinking a couple of cokes out of the mini bar... at first I thought oh what a nice gesture, until I was informed at check out that I was being charged 25 dollars for a few cookies, two cokes and some stale pringles potatoe chips. I drank an orange juice also but threw that up in the trash can soon after, I think it was rotten.
Overall it was a pleasant stay and very nice room, I wish it had a bathtub instead of shower only but all in all, nice accommodations for 3 night stay. I went to get a dog and fly home and they allow dogs so that was a plus also. Covid testing for flying home was only 2 blocks away also, making it convenient as i didn't rent a car this time. It was a pleasant stay, glad i didn't drink the booze in the mini bar ice box

Very nice hotel and conveniently located in the center of Sofia. Got a free upgrade upon arrival which is always nice. Rooms have a very nice view over the city. Only downside is the parking. The hotel advertises with parking spaces, however in reality they have 3 spots available, which upon arrival were full. Other than that good hotel and good breakfast too!

Excellent location in the city centre, with many coffee shops and restaurants nearby. Staff was very polite and professional, we were contacted before our stay inquiring about our room and food preferences and they were able to accommodated all requests. Clean, comfortable bed, breakfast was included and was excellent. We would highly recommend this hotel and certainly would love to stay there again in the future.

Apparently the only parking that this hotel has is 3 spots on the streets which are also paid and, get this, according to the staff become meter parkings during business hours. I was misled hugely and paid the price on the next morning. Would not recommend the stay here!
