This hotel doesn't even deserve 3 stars. It doesn't really smell good, the sheets and pillows are dirty. The rooms smell really bad, however the reception staff are friendly. I do not recommend this establishment. I was in a hurry to leave him.

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and concern regarding the condition of my room, in your 4-star establishment. The lack of cleanliness and ventilation has created an environment that is not only uncomfortable but also potentially hazardous to health, particularly considering the current global health situation.
The room's uncleanliness is evident, with dirt, grime, and dust present throughout. Equally concerning is the lack of proper ventilation, leading to stagnant and uncomfortable air quality. This compromises both comfort and safety, potentially facilitating the spread of infections.
I implore you to take immediate action to address these issues. A thorough cleaning and improvement of ventilation are essential. The well-being of your guests is at stake, and I urge your team to prioritize their health and safety.
I will strongly not recommend this hotel to any new customers.

Towels are in very bad condition dirty and hard, lids of the dustbins in the bathrooms doesnot open, minibar doesnot work, rooms doesnot accommodate extra bed, bathrooms doesnot have exhaust fans

I had the most horrible experience in this hotel i have photos and videos to prove my experience and i expect 100% refund for this stay. My Towels we re stained and dirty with bad smell.The Shower and Basin Water was Dirty Black/Brown color after complaining they fixed it at around 11:00 and i had missed my morning meeting.Face Towel same bad and dirtyRoom Air Condition was spoilt and the last day they came and cleaned the filter which was filled with dust so, no maintainance. Kindly refund me full amount you can see i always use hotels.com and never had complained previously. but this was a bad stay. pls refund or my photos i will send to my credit card company and ask them to take action.I am sending you some photos which i have as video is quiet big file.

Overall stay is ok in this hotel. We just use this hotel for sleepover as we were visiting friends and family during daytime.

The room was spacious enough for 3, clean and neat, the staff very accommodating with respect to early check-in’s and late check-outs and responded promptly to every query or need. Good spread of yummy food. Couldn’t ask for more. Made our stay very comfortable.

The shower panels were not working .Tublights were not working.

It was an old hotel and the rooms (I tried 2) were smelling of mold. I understand it comes from the central air condition, which I think they should replace. I'm sure it was a beautiful hotel back in the day, but it sucks now. Try somewhere else.

Pride located in centre of city.It is close to many theatres ,restaurants and malls.Eventhough its an old hotel interior of room and reception are maintained very well.Food quality at restaurant is good.As awhile its a good budget hotel

Excellent hotel in chennai. And the staff are really good and they were able to allow an early check-in and late check-out. everything was excellent except for the bar which was horrible and not well stocked, bar tender had no knowledge bout drinks. But the others things made up for it.

The location is good, the price is decent the staff is friendly but the hotel is not maintained well. The main lobby has strong musty smell, the elevator is small and dirty, the rooms are just ok.

Nice stay at pride as it was convenient to travel to US consulate for two days and i have got my US visa on time. I really appreciate because they helped me in early check in at 7.00 am and upgraded me to a better luxury room as i had some issue with toilet. But they all extended their support and had good experience.

Conveniently located in Chelpauk-Egmore area, Pride is a good business hotel. Neat, clean and accomodating staff. Overall good value for money

The air conditioning spits water and the room feels very moist and smells weirdly. The reception staff are not flexible or understanding so, please be very eloquent during your enquiry. The food is expensive and very basic. Internet is charged.

Have stayed at Pride several times earlier. Good value for money.
However this time, it appeared the hotel(especially the rooms&services) needed repairs-wall papers peeling off, stained upholstery, and most importantly the water in the toilet seemed contaminated(strong odour and taste of oil).

decent business hotel but pool not great. dinner on the terrace is nice with great service. service overall was quite good. wish the pool was better and bigger and cleaner. staff is helpful.

I usually stay in the Fortune at OMR when travelling to Chennai for business. But for a short personal visit, this was decently priced and clean and good hotel. The only thing really lacking was maybe the quality of room service.

Didn't have high expectation but found it to be value for money business hotel.. seems popular for Corporate conferences and medical tourists visiting hospitals in the vicinity. Have stayed in a few in this area and must say this is one of the best for its restaurants, clean rooms and pleasant staff.. not so nice was the poky toilet in the room I stayed in and "no wifi"!!
