Alberto and his staff were so nice! Coco is a sweetheart too! Alberto was there to check us in and gave a us a tour of the property! Clean rooms I had a beautiful view of one of the beaches. The hotel is uniquely placed and very close to restaurants and shopping. The beach’s are less than a 3 min walk. I will be staying here again when I return!

La Playita is a small property that is still being renovated with attention to local arts and common areas. Rooms are comfortable and roomy with excellent service. The location to the beaches couldn’t be better. The owner and staff are personable and efficient. We will be back.

The property is close to 2 beaches and in walking distance to restaurants, stores and casino. The staff were super friendly! Only bad thing i can say is that the shower didn't get hot.

The property is in a great location in the water. Alberto was a class act and very hospitable. Genuinely enjoy my stay.

Great location, staff & ease to check in & out

The hotel is in the perfect location, 10 steps away from the beach, and strip of large beach hotels. It gives you the opportunity to relax away from the at times many beach goers. However even on its busiest weekends the amount of people didn’t compare to a New York beach, which was great! The beach was lovely. Beautiful views in lounge areas to watch the sunrise and rooftop to watch the sunset. The staff are very kind, helpful, always cleaning,it feels like family run. Always had parking, and security at night which made me feel safe. Walking distance to eateries and close to the major highways for venturing out.

Very clean, staff was excellent, super cozy! Across the street from beach, and around the corner from the other side on the beach! The only “issue” is OUTSIDE mosquitos, but they provide some bug spray! Can’t help nature! We plan to be back!

The Staff is exceptional. They were very friendly and made us feel at home. The owner connected with the guest in an exceptional manner. we are very pleased with this boutique hotel.

It’s really quite and clean the beach it’s right across the street and inside the hotel has a back Balcony where you can sit relax and enjoy the view

Great staff! Really welcoming and friendly. Great location! Walkable to the beaches in Isla Verde and to many restaurants. Good parking options which isn't easy in this part of town. We were there in the off-season and there were some areas being redone and reconstructed. Not sure if the place is under new ownership? I'm interested to return and see what it's like when the updates are complete. It's a nice location and good price!

Some people go on vacation to relax. The room was in a nice location with a bunch of cats that was in heat and dogs that barked all night..so along with the loud guests…it was a noisy stay and I won’t be back there especially for the price.

This was one of the nicest properties we have stayed at and that’s saying a lot as we stay at upscale hotels sometimes. Thai hotel from the owner to the staff to the room to the veranda and the courtyard and the upstairs outdoor sitting area everything is truly lovely! We found this hotel online after a bad stay at another hotel and so glad we did. We will be back, we loved sitting on the veranda facing the ocean it’s so peaceful. The rooms are large and kept up nicely. There is just something about the hotel that will keep us coming back. If I had to make a complaint about anything the mattress needs updating, otherwise 10 out 10.

Great Location Right Next To the beach and a lot of Food Options

This was a nice place to stay. Right on the beach, very quiet and the room was clean and cozy

quiet area, although the hotel was not a "resort" it was family friendly and staff extremely helpful. Everyone was kind and respectful. I stayed there since i was there to take care of some family emergency. It was a good place to go home to de-stress after a long day.

The breeze blowing through the building and on the water front was wonderful.

The best place❤️ I love it

Staff were friendly, breakfast coffee, fruit and ham and cheese sliders were good. Loved the courtyard, and common places. Only concern was the 6 parking spaces that were at times occupied by beach goers. Suggestion would be to give those staying a placard to put stating that you are allowed to park for x number of days. We will be back quaint and intimate spot.

Very friendly staff Quiet and well maintained

Loved yhe fact that the beach is just steps away. Sitting in the common area looking out at the sea and listening to the waves was priceless. This place is very quiet. There are no amenities. Except for friendly staff. The beds were a little rough. Not used to sleeping on a spring mattress (memory foam). Other than that and a little dog poop in the common area, we enjoyed our stay. Shower was always hot, the view was awesome, and we appreciated the the light breakfast of coffee, fruit, mini cinnamon rolls and sandwich sliders, before running out for the day.

Great place to relax

Alberto and staff give you a tour upon arrival with instructions on how to communicate with them if an issue may arise. Any Text I sent was addressed quickly. Coco the Hotel Dog is so cute and not in the way at all- the dog is living its best life!! The courtyard has peaceful vibe, the back patio faces the ocean and the view is AMAZING!! The 3rd floor patio is also a great place to relax with a beach view. There is no restaurant or bar but there are many within walking distance. My only complaint would be a better mattress- But the rooms are spacious with a queen bed and a double twin day bed. Good Size bathroom with plenty of Towels for room and beach. A fridge and Microwave. Complementary Breakfast-Coffee, ham Sandwiches, bananas, cinnamon rolls and diff crackers. This was a cozy GREAT comfy hotel. If you want a resort please stay in a resort. Can't wait til next time.
