Attractive hotel. Bedroom was very comfortable and very attractive. Staff was exceptional. Very helpful.

Really nice hotel. The kids liked it better than Sheraton, because of the pool and the room (but let's not exagerate lol). The surroundings of the hotel are not attractive, not horrible. Breakfast has something for everyone. Not to far from the beach and the zoo.

We really enjoyed our stay overall. The photos need to be updated. Prior to our arrival we were a little skeptical about the look of the room but wanted to stay due to location and having a pool. However it does look way more modernized! Shoutout to the housekeeping supervisor (forgot her name 😬) who worked 12 hours and did not leave until all rooms were up to par. The front desk safer were also according our entire trip! Well done Hampton!

Our room was not ready at 4:30pm. check in is 3pm. We booked a handicap accessible room. You would think they would make sure that was ready in time. The kitchen had no gluten-free options for my daughter when asked. There was no milk for cereal at the breakfast buffet. None. They admitted they had no milk. Will not stay at this hotel again.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Although the room was clean, it was in need of updates ... broken AC, wooden furniture looked overused was no longer polished, lights were out, toilet paper bar missing, refrigerator froze our food.

Hotel needs updating. Wear and tear is apparent. Please support this location by giving it a remodel!

Breakfast could be better

Property was really clean. Breakfast was really good. Location was perfect for our weekend at Seneca Park Zoo and Ontario Beach. The one negative was the bed was very uncomfortable (lumpy and hard).

The room did not meet standards of the other Hampton Inn where I stayed. The room was dirty. The air conditioner did not work properly. The fan in the bathroom never shut off and it was filthy.

Stay for hospital patient. Very close to hospital. Convenient to restaurants and stores. Very comfortable stay.

All the staff encountered were very friendly and helpful. I'm a bit of a neat freak, so the condition of the room was not up to my standards. Some of the light fixtures didn't work, and they were dusty. The grout around the tub area was old and a little moldy, as was the caulking around the shower head cover that was not adequately secured to the wall.

Very dirty. Mold in shower. Stains in shower. Stained bed sheets weren’t changed and when asked took 2 days to change.

Definitely under renovation. What’s complete looks nice. For what we paid I would think the renovation would be done. Breakfast was ok

We had to wait 45 mins because our room was not ready at 3 pm; several other guests were waiting after we registered. The way the front desk received the information on available rooms was by the housekeeper coming to the front desk with a piece of paper with the list of rooms that were marked ready or still need to be cleaned. Was there a shortage of cleaning staff for the day or is this the case everyday? Also because the delivery truck did not arrive, breakfast was horrible. There was no milk, so no cold cereal and only black coffee. Breakfast options were sparse. There was no hard-boiled eggs, no fresh fruit aside from oranges, no yogurt, no bagels. Manager needed to go to a local grocery store and buy what was needed for that day's breakfast. The door lock mechanism was faulty; we also had difficulty getting into our room. The light on one side of the bed was missing; this was needed because there were only three fixtures that provided only low wattage lighting. The toilet base was coming out of the floor. The front desk staff was friendly, but inadequate to handle unexpected problems and quickly think of solutions. The manager of the day did give us points to our Hilton frequent traveler account. Normally our go-to hotel is a Hampton Inn, so we were very disappointed with this stay.

Our room had a window right at ground level

I’ve stayed many times here-normally over weekends and my last visit was a bit disappointing. I brought up a floor spill in front of the elevator and although he put a “wet floor” sign there, it remained for another 2 days. My shower had hair in the corners and on walls and although the sheets appeared to be fresh, the bed topper had a large red stain at the head of the bed.

There were no towels or soap and there was men's underwear in the nightstand which was nasty!!!

MY ROOM WAS NEVER SERVICED IN THE 3 DAYS I WAS THERE. Plus the carpet in my room had a big stain and it was sticky. The hallway was never vacuumed the entire time I was there, because I saw the same candy wrapper and other things. My main problem was with the fact that I felt it was dirty and that housekeeping was not doing their job.

This hotel is very close to Rochester General Hospital and next door to a great Italian restaurant called Pasta Villa. Seems to be a safe area. Rooms are a little tired. Front desk people often absent and there was no soap in the room but evidently a “soap shortage”.

I was very impressed with this hotel. It was one of the least expensive in the area but it had free breakfast and a pool so we gave it a try. The hotel smells clean and pleasant when you walk in. A faint scent of chlorine and “pool” when you walk towards the end of the hall, but not bad at all. Check in and check out were quick. I had 2 kids with me and they loved the pool. The water was warm and there were lounge chairs and tables to use as well as plenty of towels! The hotel was not very crowded so we stayed in the pool for a long time and enjoyed it. The room was very clean and spacious. The bed was quite comfortable too. The breakfast was really good. Cheese omelets, red skin potatoes, sausage, yogurt, fresh fruit, pastries, bagels, bread, cereal, oatmeal with many topping options, 2 types of waffles to make, hard boiled eggs. There were 4 types of juice as well as ice water, milk coffee and tea. So many delicious choices! We really enjoyed the breakfast and it was replenished often and very clean. The staff we interacted with were pleasant and helpful. My only slight complaint was that the coffee there was terrible. The light roast was very strong and bitter. Luckily there is a Tim Hortons just up the street! The other concern was the temperature in the room. It was quite chilly but I believe it was due to the boys “turning down” the air and not a true room issue. Either way it was manageable and we really enjoyed our time there.

Room wasn’t cleaned - walked into a dirty room. They gave me another room but could’ve offered me something for the inconvenience

I would say we did NOT see any bugs so that’s the most important thing but was not a great experience. Bathroom light was burnt out, no shampoo or conditioner in the large jugs in the shower and of course did not know this until already in the shower. Housekeeping came at 10am to clean claiming we had already checked out and obviously we had not. Elevator was dirty and not cleaned at all in the time we were there based on the same garbage on the floor. Breakfast was small and not worth it. Personally probably not ever stay again.
