Had a shower but drain chocked and flooded shower area. Had to use remaining towels to stop water going into bedroom area. My partner had to do without a shower as no towels left. Breakfast was dreadful. Reported problem with shower in the morning but no reaction as if they already knew about it. Will totally avoid Mercure Hotels in future. Very poor, absolute rubbish.

A very good place to stay if you travel by car and want to stay in Reims for one night. The hotel is nice, clean and quiet at night. It is located very close to a highway and several large stores including a really huge supermarket. With a car, it is easy to have a short drive to the city center for sightseeing and visiting one of the champagne houses.

This is a great hotel for a quick stopover in Reims. Close to the highway, easy access to the city, but it is in an area where a car is pretty much required. Staff was excellent, room was fine, and overall it was good value for the money.

Pierre at the front desk helped us so perfectly! We had a simple supper in the dining room after our late arrival (8:00 pm) and he even opened a bottle of wine for us! He also booked a champagne cellar tour for us!

Staff were welcoming. The shower / bathroom was excellent and more like something you'd find in an expensive hotel. The hotel is convenient for those travelling (near the motorway, with a supermarket next door) but the area itself is a bit soulless.

A room just as we needed it .. spacy, 3 good beds, wood on the floor. Good breakfast. Free parking. The staff was good in english.

Brilliant hotel. Clean and spacious room. Service was very good and the staff were very knowledgeable. Location convenient on travel to tunnel and for a tour of Reims. The breakfast had a wide variety of choices and they were well made.

Very welcoming staff, explained everything and informed about accessing hotel later in evening. Breakfast was good, but maybe would need more than one person to look after the breakfast bar and reception. Poor girl was running around both places.

Hotel was clean and staff as helpful as could be, but only problem was that it was 33 degrees outside and the room was same temperature. I didn't realise the room did not have air conditioning when I booked, which was a huge mistake. It was the worse hotel experience ever, but sole because of the heat. They did provide 2 tower fans which helped a bit, but really they should not be renting rooms when this hot as not fit for purpose.

Good size room. Shame there’s no evening restaurant available but otherwise a good stay.

Room 5 was awful. Stains on the wall, in the toilet, on the light switches. Electric cables were hidden behing masking tape under the bedside shelves. The surfaces of the bathroom were peeling and badly scratched. The shower head had been moved but the old pipework was still coming through the ceiling. Sections of the ceiling in the bedroom had been patched up with slightly different colour. The adjoining door had had the handles and locks removed but no attempt had been made to patch any holes. All in all it felt dirty even thpugh there was no actual dust anywhereBest Western should be ashamed of allowing this room to be used for guests

On arrival the receptionist told us the breakfast buffet would be open from 7:30 a.m. the buffet was not open at 7:50 when we had to leave the hotel to catch our ferry at Calais. We had paid for our breakfasts and would not of having known the restaurant would not be open. I will see if we can get a refund for the breakfasts.

The hotel was in a commercial area out of town and the outside looked a touch tired, which was off putting initially. The staff were however very friendly and helpful and the interior of the hotel was modern and very clean, the room was very comfortable, again with modern furniture and fittings and had everything you would expect to find. The stay was much better than expected and I’d happily stay there again, good value for the price payed.

Very friendly phone call from reception as we were late arriving. Good English spoken and room seemed very clean and modern. Perfect for a short stay en route through France.
