Really nice hotel, large and nice rooms with authenicity. Perfect location, walking distance to sighseeing, restaurants and shopping

The hotel is not a 4 star hotel as it’s very basic more like a 2 star. The bed was however very comfortable and clean but the room smelled musty and you will find scents left to try alleviate this so they must get complaints. The bathroom was nice, new toilet and bidet but the shower lacked power and therefore a normal shower took twice the time. There is no lift so if you have a room high up it’s a climb. My hairdryer exploded after use one day and tripped the electrics in the bathroom which could not be fixed whilst I was there. The hotel was full and they could not give me another room. The handheld hairdryer they gave me also didn’t work. The breakfast was very basic and the same each day, so I only ate it 3 out of the 6 day stay. But to be fair it is a free breakfast and there was cereal, bread, cheese, cold meat, watermelon and eggs. I did not like the antique decor throughout, it smelled musty everywhere even in the lower ground breakfast room, and it looked like the hotel had little investment made in it. The reception desk was often unmanned. Overall for 60 euro a night the hotel was ok priced as it is in the middle of the centrum so you do have the convenience of being close to everything. I really struggled with the noise though. There were people sitting outside talking until very late (after midnight) and then very early on there were building works (from 7.30). Overall it was a 5/10 for me but the comfort of the bed was a 9/10 and the bathroom 8/10.

Small hotel within easy walking of Skanderberg square and all the restaurants and sites around it. The room was immaculately clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff were friendly. I would stay again if I was going back to Tirana.

Horrible parking, rude staff. When we arrived, the receptionist just stared at us while parking since we were having a difficult time as if to mock us and then started arguing with us. Our room also had a bad sewage smell. I would not recommend at all

Great stay, very central just minutes walk from Skandaberg Square, the Pyramid and 30 minutes from the park and lake. Beautiful old traditional small hotel, friendly service. Free on street parking right outside. Breakfast good (from 8am). Big comfy room (though we booked a King and instead got a twin which was a shame, the beds were actually small doubles)

Charming little hotel with a great breakfast and staff!

A Smaller familiar, friendly place to stay. The location was perfect in the city center, but in a quiet backstreet. The interior was in solid old fashion stile, maybe not antic but cozy. We would recommend to stay here and it’s good value for money.

This was my second time staying at this hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is very good with many options. the room was big and the bed was comfortable.

I throughly enjoyed my stay at Brilant Antik Hotel. The room and bed were comfortable and the staff amazingly friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for exploring the center of Tirana. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Nothing special. Very basic room. Towels were clean. Pillows were hard. Minimal leg room on the toilet with the shower in the way. AC making lots of noise in the middle of night. Breakfast was ok.

This hotel is a great base for a trip to this magnificent city. Smallish hotel which has a real family feel. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Room was spacious and clean Breakfast was good Definitely recommend

The owner and manager were excellent couldn't do enough for you the beds are the best ever and i have stayed in lots of hotels the best .i have already given cards out and recommend them an will be back next yr

Staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was great. Hotel is very central but quiet as it is off the main roads. Room was very clean and comfortable, decoration around the hotel is very nice, only downside was the rooms needed some maintenance as the bathroom ceiling was cracked, a window didn’t close and there was an exposed light fitting but overall very happy.

The en-suite stank and to add insult to injury, Hotels.com only gave me 1 reward night, rather than the 4 which I was due.

My room wasn't available when I arrived, apparently a problem with the bathroom. I had to stay in the hotel next door which was spotless but very small box room and not what I signed up for. Breakfast was better in the first hotel and staff were very welcoming there too. The two nights I did spend in the Antik were Ok and nothing more, the bed was very comfy, but no safe and TV wasn't working in either hotel, so managed with you tube

The wardrobe was had a crack in the glass and was missing a handle. The reading light over the bed didn’t work. One of the bulbs above the sink was hanging by a wire. There was build up around the base of the shower in the cracks. It looked like it was just chalked over. The bed was firm but I like a firm bed.

This is an adorable hotel. I liked the uniqueness of the furniture and design. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was good, too!

We stayed 5 nights and fell into a nice rhythm with the staff. Breakfast was excellent with eggs, meats, bread and pastry buffet style. Staff was very friendly. The location was prefect for visiting the Christmas market and castle.

For some reason my credit card was not charged by hotels.com so I had to pay by card. The payment terminal was having problems with my cards, so I had to pay cash, this cost me extra money to use my credit card at the ATM to get foreign currency. Then the hotel apparently charges me a fee to pay in Albanian currency, because by original bill was 85 EUR and I had to pay 9300 ALL, which is about 92 EUR. Also, the bathroom smelled horrible, and there was no hot water in the morning. There was a table in the room, but no char, which would have been more useful. Also, the only lights witch was by the door, so I had to use my phone's torch to find the bed. Overall, it was a very average budget hotel in which basic things like warm water were not even working consistently. For the same price I could have gotten a better Hotel in Frankfurt during the off season.
