Stayed 3 nights prior to return to US. Staff was very friendly and helpful. My room was large with a comfortable bed. Big bathroom and great shower. I loved the drying rack on the porch! I had a garden room, so, much buggier than any other bures, I had on my Fiji holiday. Bring bug spray. Lots of seating options for dining, inside and outside. Wish the food portions were smaller with lower prices. Great service. There is a nice pool ( possibly too warm??) A small beach , better for strolling not swimming. A few kayaks available, with no attendant when I was there. Absolutely, gorgeous sunset views with Happy Hour choices.

Had a lovely stay but was promised a room upgrade due to being a gold member and family of 6 but when we arrived it wasn’t arranged so we squeezed in the room.

Wonderful stay at First Landing! Great nightly entertainment. Taxi easy into Lautoka (or local bus!) and close to airport too! Close(ish) walk to the Marina with restaurant 'around the corner' too which is also worth a visit.

Bathrooms a bit dated & in need of upgrade (however I found this a general rule with this kind of hotel/resort throughout Fiji).

We experienced a wonderful holiday at this resort. The staff are absolutely fantastic, could not fault them, so welcoming, friendly and efficient. If you are looking for a proper Fijian experience then this is the place. Very good menu options with both the food and drinks at sensible prices. Great nightly entertainment, brilliant sunsets, many activity options. And only 15 minutes from the airport.

We had an amazing stay! Perfect place to go if you want to relax and have a change of pace. We were only there 4 nights and did not leave the resort. I wish I would have gotten a few necessities at a grocery store in town before going to the resort because it is a ways from everything and we didn’t want to leave once we were there but there wasn’t anything we needed! We ate at the restaurant for every meal and were taken very good care of! Things are slower than we
Are used to but we embraced it! My son was in heaven and fished the entire time

I love how it was near the airport and from the town. Screens in our bure was appreciated and the view was spectacular. Food were delicious and staff were very friendly and respectful. I love the warrior dance and the Polynesian dances. I also enjoyed my spa. Safe place to be. Definitely coming back next time.

This is Fiji the way you remember it as a kid, and that’s a good thing. Really friendly staff and beautiful grounds. Definitely rustic, but in the best way possible. My only constructive criticism would be if they could renovate the bathrooms.
While their food is great, I would also recommend the restaurant at the marina next door. One of the best in Fiji. That’s not to take away from First Landing, just a reason to stay longer

Shower door not closing, towels when wet looks a disgusting yellow,entrance to hotel so dark at night, security drinking kava so has to phone at night to find entrance, poor landscape

The staff make an extra effort to make your stay memorable. Once you leave the property you get to know the real Fiji. Vuda Point marina has a small store & cafe, laundry mat & the Boat Shed restaurant & bar which are welcome option for lunch.

I lived in a Bure which has basic facilities but it was clean and comfortable. The resort is beautiful. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The food was fantastic.
The resort is a bit isolated but there are cars and taxis available to drive into town.

Rooms need remodeling. Bathrooms are very old. Lots of mosquitoes in the room. Good and entertainment was great! Beach activity and walk was amazing. Got to check out the coral reef in low tide by walking all the way in - great experience for sure

Love our stay at first landing. The staff were lovely and the food was good.
The resort is tired, and the spa rooms are next to a working marina and it can be a bit noisy in the mornings.
Overall - it’s a nice place to stay, just a little tired.

It was a beautiful villa and the private pool was awesome! Looked absolutely stunning. The queen bed and 2 singles were comfy. However it was disappointing that it was describles as 2 king beds and 2 singles- we got to the room and it was 2 singles, a queen and a queen couch bed that was very firm and uncomfortable. Would suggest this place for 4 guests rather than 6 unless 2 people dont mind sleeping rough. Also be careful of the tiles as they become very slippery from the pool water!
Food, pool, staff, and facilities were very nice too!

Its a lovely location at First Landing. You will love the sunsets, the way the tide goes out during the day and comes back in and the people! The swimming pool is lovely and the bar area is quaint.
I enjoyed my stay and was very comfortable in my room. The only comment to make was the rooms are now quite old and definitely need renovating. This doesnt mean they arent comfortable and clean, quite the opposite, but I would think some of the villas are well overdue for a renovation.
Don't let that put you off though, you will still have a lovely stay.
