Well placed for the annual WOMAD Festival and the beach.

Everything was great

The hotel is approximately one block from Las Canteras Beach. The environment can be a bit noisy if the room faces the street Calle de Tomas Miller, but if sensitive one can solve this with a pair of earplugs or ask for a room in another direction. Our room was equipped with basic hosehold utensils and a spacious refrigerator, so it is possible to cook for anyone who wants. There are no restaurant in the house, but many eateries just a few meters from the hotel entrance. Impeccable cleaning almost every day of the week, sheets / towel changes take place every few days. A perfect alternative for those who want to stay a little longer and have close access to everthing that Las Palmas can offer.

Very nice, clean, close to a beautiful beach, restaurants, shops and bus station. Very helpful staff. Be careful though as Hotels.com confused studios (just one room)and apartments (separate bedroom and lounge/diner). Reception were brilliant and upgraded us for no extra charge.

The apartments are only 2 minutes from the beach and 10 from the bus station. They are convenient, clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. They are somewhat spartan but on holidays who wants to spend time in the room when the beach and numerous restaurants are on the doorstep. I have read some of the complaints and I wonder if some of those people thought they were checking in to the Hotel Catalina, a 5 star hotel one the other side of town.
