Nice decent hotel behind the Taj I looked at all the hotels around found this to be the most acceptable to me. Decent size room, good locality, decent price for the area. Clean and comfortable

The staff were friendly, the property well maintained and the bedding and bathrooms clean and comfortable. The breakfast was tasty and service good. A special mention to the door staff who were attentive and to the landing staff who were always around if you needed anything. The hotel is well placed to see all the sights and Tuk Tuks and taxis are always around to get to things further afield.

It was a very uncomfortable hotel. We where not happy with the quality of service and the rude service provided at the facility. We voiced our complaints and where told to contact Hotels.com for any problems and nothing was corrected at the hotel itself. The staff at the counter did not allow us to have a guest visit us at our hotel. They where demanding and very controlling of anything we did. They also didnt provide good hospitality, they have a sign that says be our guest let us do the rest and i feel as if it was a scam. We where also around another couple of people who didnt not like the situations the hotel staff where giving. Please if your interested find another hotel. Dont stay here.

it was clean, comfortable , welcoming, the staff was helpful and the location wonderful. My only complaint is around their policy to not allow people in the rooms who are not registered and no local India people . I was in Mumbai to visit a dear friend and when we in my are and wanted to sit and talk and use the loo I was not allowed to invite him to my room . This was embarrassing and not handled that gracefully by the front desk. And it is quiet an expensive hotel and I feel I should be able to bring my friends to my room if I please too. I am fine if they want their ID But this is actually a kind of discrimination towards native Indians, had he been a foreigner he could have joined me by submitting ID but not as a native Indian. The establishment appears to be owned and operated by Indians so not sure where these ideas are coming from but this is a reason I would not return to the hotel.

The best location in Mumbai next to a Taj and the Gate of India. Ok facilities, a bit worn out and not the cleanest. But location beats everything

Hotel is in a great area for seeing sites such as the Gateway of India and the Taj. Rooms are on the smaller side but clean.

Good hotel in a good location and it’s good value for the money you pay,staff are really nice and make sure you are comfortable x

great location, the hotel is nice but minimal. the hotel seemed to cater to UAE residents, but was still ok to stay in as someone from the US.

The hotel was extremely comfortable and very well located in colaba, around the corner from the Taj palace and cafe Leopold. The staff went the extra mile for me, allowing me to shower in a room despite the fact I had already checked out as I had a very late flight. The breakfast was nice but choice was limited.

Didn't have room ready when we arrived even though it was later in the evening. Wanted to change our hotel instead of this one we booked to one further out. Finally got a room which was too small for 3 people. They wanted just to put a mattress on the floor instead of an extra bed but we refused.

Close to the Gateway of India. Hotel situated close the The Taj Mahal Palace Hotel. Restraunts and shops are all in the area of the hotel.

Location was excellent, rooms comfortable and breakfast exactly what was needed.

Staff may need more training since room service tooks several hours and various phone calls before u actually get what u want. Close to Starbucks and Colaba Market. No free wifi, dont b fooled!

The hotel is located very close to the Gateway of India and the pier with ferries to Elephanta. This was convenient. And, proportionately the hotel room pricing was high. The room itself was not great : Dirt laden food-menu cards, only continental food options for the free breakfast and tiny bathrooms. We noticed that the guest register had a lot of non-Indian names on it, and weren't too surprised by the slightly patronising attitude of the reception staff. The hotel is very old, and the decors and services are old-style. I'd prefer clean, fresh and smart than antique and stiff mannered.

Very helpful staff who allowed us an early check in and late check out. We were able to leave our bags and have access to a room for a shower before leaving for the airport.

Good hotel in great location. Reception staff extremely friendly and helpful. The bathrooms also great. Only issue was the noise both from outside from traffic and inside by other guests banging doors at 3am. Would definately stay here again though.

hotel rooms are old and the maintenance is poor. quality of tea served is hopeless from and indian stand point, and also there was hardly anything on the menu for an vegetarian person like me.The linen were also of poor quality. The good things about the hotel are excellent location, nice and decent staff, and prompt service.

Close to the Gateway of Indi, Colaba causeway, museums And more!!!! Very nice staff!!! Good complimentary breakfast With eggs and bread. Definitely recommend it And would go back!
