Nice personal touches to the place and very welcoming and cosy

An incredibly warm welcome & great customer service during my short stay. The accommodation was of a very high standard and the breakfast menu was first class. I was a solo business customer and felt very welcome and will not hesitate to book in again the next time work brings me to Yarmouth.

Such a warm and friendly welcome and Gerty. Breakfasts were excellent and the room was first class.

Lovely one night stay occupying 2 rooms. Both rooms were excellent and very clean. The service was above and beyond made to feel very welcome in a warm beautiful home. Would highly recommend

A quintessential English holiday experience. Immaculately clean and well maintained. The hosts were warm and friendly, making us feel right at home. The breakfast is an example to others, on how breakfasts should be done. 10/10 This is a little gem of a hotel experience. Only downside was the 4pm check in, but too many positives to cancel out this small point.

A nice, clean modern B&B, nicely presented, friendly hosts and a good choice for Breakfast. Also good choice of teas and coffee, biscuits and fudge. Nicely located for race course, beach and local area. Stairs are a little narrow and steep, but okay for most. Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice B& B in this area.

Went to Great Yarmouth to see the Air Show. The owner kindly went to the trouble of getting us a free program from the preview, which he gave to us at breakfast. The room was lovely and large, it was quiet, clean and very comfortable.Breakfast was amazing! The ingredients where excellent quality and cooked to perfection!Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to anyone.

Very nice and quiet location, lays back just off the Canister road. Very easy access to the sea front road leading to all the activities and town.

This is a top quality establishment run by people who really understand their business. Very comfortable with every need covered, lovely home which actually feels like a home, quality furnishings and the best breakfasts ever. Barnard House restores your faith in Great Yarmouth! Charming and convenient. Would certainly return and recommend.

Barnard House is a very pleasant and comfortable family home. My room was decorated in a modern style (the bed was very comfortable) and the bathroom was clean and moder. The facilities were very good and little extra details were appreciated (chocolate biscuits and fudge!). The hosts were lovely, very friendly and I was made to feel very welcome (as I was travelling on my own). Breakfast was a delight - my place was set beautifully and breakfast served on beautiful blue and white china. I particularly liked the choice of a healthy breakfast - yoghurt with nuts and honey. Extremely good value for money.

When we arrived at Barnard House with our four year old son the hosts were warm and welcoming. The room was huge and had all the usual items that you would expect, kettle, tea and coffee, tv, and, to our four year old's delight, sweets. The bathroom for the family room was not ensuite, instead we had a private bathroom down the corridoor. We had been told this before booking so this was not a problem. The bathroom was spacious and clean. There was shower and bath facilities with plenty of hot water for us. The beds were comfortable and the room was airy. We did hear the road noise from the main road as the room is situated at the front of the house but nothing intrusive or noisier than at home. Breakfast was nicely done and there was plenty of it to start the day. Nothing seemed to much trouble for our host and you always felt able to ask. All in all our stay was very pleasant and we would stay again.

With out a doubt the best night sleep I have ever had.(if I could have stolen the bed, I would have lol) The hotel,service and well generally every thing was amazing. I only got to stay one night but I would have stayed a week if I could have (it was fully booked). The owners obviously love what they do because they do it perfectly. I can't say enough nice things about this place :) my 3 year old loved it too. :) and the owners were so good with her. And If we didn't have a child with us, it is a perfectly romantic hotel. Comfy bed,good food and a fully stocked tea caddy. what more could you want ? I say its a good hotel for most occasions and that is because there are some things that the place is just too good for :) x
