Good location, quite close to the city center it worked for us.

It was a great value for all the amenities. I wish I found this place earlier in my 12 day stay!!!

I was so impressed by this guesthouse! The twin room with bathroom was clean, comfortable, and great for a single or a couple. My friends had a balcony in their twin with bathroom. The staff were excellent, friendly and helpful and they are very well organized for travellers with lots of readily available information. There are shared kitchens for the budget conscious because food in Iceland is incredible expensive. (2 small coffees, a tea and 3 croissants $33). Breakfast was basic continental but had some boiled eggs and some cheese and ham slices for protein. This is a lovely new building and I can’t emphasize how clean it was. Everything was remarkably spotless! The ovation is right outside the big church so you have a wonderful view as well as landmark to find your way home. There’s a grocery store around the corner and a coffee/breakfast place with fantastic coffee next door.

The staff are kind and helpful, everything is spotless and the street is quiet. If you don't mind climbing stairs to your room, the hotel is perfectly located next to the Hallgrimskirkja and from there, easy walking to countless interesting sights across Reykjavik.

Everything was very clean, and even though there was a shared bathroom, I never had trouble accessing it when needed. I did have a sink in my own room

Sauna has a very nice location for most everything. Bus stop 8 is across the street. Lots of places to eat and shop. The front desk let us have our room early which was so nice after arriving with our early flight. Breakfast was great as well. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

It was a real pleasure to stay at Sunna during our symposium in Reykjavik. Great service!

Very clean and convenient

Clean room with sink and washcloth. Wasn’t able to open the window because of the exterior painting going on. I could see the church from my window and it was a good breakfast (must show staff your key when you go down to ensure it’s included.)

Great location, within walking distance of countless restaurants, shops, churches, tourist sites, etc.

The location is perfect. The facility is very clean and quiet. The staffs are kind and helpful. The only thing that we didn’t know is there is no elevator. We have to carry the luggages up and down.

Very clean, comfortable beds. Quiet. Helpful receptionist; friendly and knowledgeable. Breakfast is available for purchase, great location with easy access to everything. No shampoos, conditioners, creams, or bath soap; just hand wash soap gel.

We wanted a clean well located budget friendly experience. That’s exactly what we got! Staff was friendly room was clean. Location was perfect and the value was worth the cost. It’s not the four seasons. It’s a clean room in a nice location safe with nice people working there.

Enjoyed this hotel for our first night in Reykjavik. Very close to the center of the city and good walking to the things we wanted to see. Room was good, blackout shades were ok.
