Stayed for one night to go to Fire and Water in the Venetian Waterways. Our room was nice with a lovely sea view. Alex the owner was very helpful and looked after us very well.Breakfast was lovely and did not have to go down early for it which was good as we had a fairly late Saturday night. We will definitely book again.

It was a lovely 2-day family stay. Alex was very welcoming, rooms were very cosy and breakfast was absolutely amazing! Really good value for money. We'll be back next summer!

Stayed for one night with my 4yr old daughter for easy access to Pettits Adventureland. Check in very easy, paid £2.50 for residential parking permit on nearby street but was slightly hard to find a space that was free. Room was lovely and comfortable, very good value for money. My daughter was thrilled and the location was very good for sea life centre and rides and town centre access. Lovely breakfast.

Nice little place to stay. It was a very comfortable bed and pillows. Lovely and clean as was the bathroom. We had the small double and the only downside is the shower room is a bit cramped with no ledge or small table to put your toilet bag on. Food was exceptional and so nicely presented. Alex is a lovely, friendly host.

Our sea view room with en-suite shower room was clean to an excellent standard and with a pretty seaside theme. We woke refreshed from sleeping in a comfortable bed with spotless linen. Alex provides tea/coffee making facilities which was lovely to use next morning whilst enjoying the view of the pier, beach and Gt Yarmouth waking up. The shower and complimentary toiletries were fab and breakfast is one of the best we've ever had! This family run accommodation has hard working proprietors who understand 100% what holidaymakers or weary overnight stayers need in a small hotel.

The hosts were very unfriendly and unaccomodating, even got a parking ticket because they wouldn't explain clearly where to park ,we were told we were rude ,never again . Worst place to stay, never again.

The b&b room was fantastic, a newly refurbished room with an amazing free standing claw foot bath. Unfortunately due to the b&b location it was very noisy the second night due to the football match playing that night. The only minor issue with the stay was the mattresses on the bunk beds ver very thin and you could feel all of the springs. Breakfast was amazing.

Room and toilet are very pretty.Breakfast was really nice.But it was so noisy on Saturday night.The mattress on the bunk bed is uncomfortable..needs to be changed

Excellent location, Lovely staff. Got upgraded to a bigger room on arrival as we were the only guests in the hotel. Breakfast was delicious! Rooms were decorated to a high standard and was very welcoming and the bed super comfy! the only minor issue was the shower. there was only one temperature Hot (and that was on the lowest setting) and the bottom of the shower didn't drain very quickly meaning the water pooled around your ankles and then made the floor very slippery. However this was not a massive detractor for the stay and we would defiantly stay again.

Henrys on the prom is situated in the best spot, located close to everything Great Yarmouth has to offer, plus the bonus its right opposite the beach, and our room had great sea views. The staff were amazing very friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble, the experience wouldnt of been the same without them!Our room was very comfortable, clean and tastefully decorated, as was the breakfast room where we had a good choice of cereal or cooked breakfast which was delicious. Very close to the beach (just across the road ) friendly owners good size rooms very clean. We stayed for 4 nights and stayed in room 4 with a sea view , breakfast was very very good, service was spot on would definitely recommend this b and b.

Check in after 3pm, a friendlier welcome from Tom. No parking but you do get a permit (though parking spaces are limited close-by in busy times). No front disability access; we were led up shallow/steep painted stairs though Tom offered a hand. Initial impressions were true to photographs. Decor appeared cheaply done shabby theme though good paintings of sea-side themes. Whilst I'm sure it is one of the better b&b's here it really wasn't up to our previous stays and moderate expectations for £90!.Perhaps pay extra for the view?. Sign saying not to open the middle window.. the view was over a v.busy section of the sea-front so lots to hear and see. Carpet and room clean, good amount of coffee sachets albeit Nescafe. Mattress comfy but my 6'1" husband found he was unable to lie straight and didn't sleep well at all. Wi-fi for both hubs was out of range. We woke at 3:30 am, my side was just inches from the tiny en-suite door - you could smell the cleaning fluids from your bed,and the extractor fan was old and noisy...we gave up and decided to call it quits plus breakfast wasn't until 8:30 am to 9:15am. We noted another guest had left too. Exhausted hubby made the big mistake of leaving the key and permit under the "staff" door, forgetting to leave a note...this triggered Claire to send 2 terse voice-mails, 6 'phone calls& 2 v.snippy emails..our mistake for not leaving a note though no checks for the key 1st ?. Her threats to charge extra & manner lost points.

the rooms are very clean and the owners are very pleasant and helpful, as to whether it warrants £90.00 per night I would say no, maybe justified on the location! but I would say £75.00 per night would be more acceptable for GreatYarmouth.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for 2 days recently 18-20 April 2013. If the look and feel of shabby chic is what you love then this is definately the place for you. What a lovely stay we had the owners could not do enough for us from the minute we arrived up until the moment we left. This is service of the highest quality and hopefully we will get the chance to stay again. Many Thanks
