The water pressure was terrible and the key to run the power is annoying.
Fix those two issues and I would rate this the best value hotel in Angeles

Friendly staff and management, we’re always happy on our stay. We are regular customer of wild orchids for 10yrs now.. excellent service. The longest stay we had here is 5 weeks stay.

For starters this hotel is a glorified brothel. The bed literally has bisqueen/plastic on the bed under the sheet. The room had no towels. Did not realize until after I took a shower. Thank goodness my wife was there to get me a towel from downstairs. Went to take the power key out of the wall (which is what you have to do to leave the room, you have to disconnect all power from your room when you leave the room I'm guessing to save electricity that also means NO AC. (If you don't have AC when you leave, when you come back your room will be 90°) The power key outlet fell out of the wall turning power off to the entire room. There was bare exposed wires hanging out of the wall. The sliding glass door was wore out did not properly lock could be easily be opened by a criminal. The regular door did not have a deadbolt. Anybody could open the door with a credit card in about 10 seconds if they know what they're doing. The room was filthy. I wouldn't have took a bath in the bathtub if you paid me too. I could not tell you how nasty this place was.. for 30 more US I got a beautiful room right down the road less than half a block. How this motel has 8 plus stars is beyond me. I would not recommend if you have any quality of life.

The hotel is old and the rooms need upgrade. The bed was comfortable. There was a lack of usual hotel amenities in the room such as upgraded electrical outlets, no glasses, not enough towels, no hand towels, no wash clothes, and no facial tissues. But the staff got me everything I asked for.

Great old establishment and well run by friendly professional staff. Twenty four hour security so no problems at all. Couple of minor aged equipment in rooms but not a problem. I would stay there again any time.

This is the second time I have stayed at the hotel while in the Philippines. It is a beautiful hotel and the staff are very friendly & quick to solve any problems you may have. The location is great if you are going to the entertainment district and within walking distance of the SM Clark mall. The only downside is that the hotel seems a little empty, but I assume that is because I like going in the off season for cheaper flights. This hotel is great and I hope to return many times in the future.
Stayed in the jacuzzi tub room and didn’t use it as frequently as I had thought I would. I think a part of the reason was because I couldn’t find anyplace that sold bubble bath soap while overseas.

I took a shower late at night and discovered that there were no towels, had to dry myself with a robe. Pools are nice and the food is ok. The rooms are a nightmare.

I didn't like when I asked the bartender for 4 pool towels for me and my family and she said NO and said theres a 2 limit towels per room BUT then the Filipins woman behind me was given more then 2 towels . I guess just foreigners can't have more then 2 towels.

I reserved a room with a balcony and got a room without a balcony, at breakfast i ordered a tenderloin steak and got a flank steak. No elevator to the 2nd floor i had a drag my luggage up a spiral stairs.

This is a hotel i frequently stay at....friendly staff and good food. This isnthe first time i stayed in one of the "old" rooms......and it was just that. Besides that it was a good stay

This property used to be pretty nice but no money gone back into it. AC units in bedrooms don’t keep up with the heat. Stains on bathtubs. Carpet in hallways stairs very dirty. The pools and grounds are nice.

The hotel is generally very good, low rise, large garden and 2pools, nice bars and eating lounges. what i noticed only was the rusty smelling water from the faucet…i guess, water lines need to be upgraded with the latest pipes suitable both for hot and cold water lines

I was surprised in a hotel of this quality/price that there was no information whatsoever in the room or lobby describing hotel amenities/services, menu or anything else. Service was often slow, but no worse than is typical of the Philippines generally. I expected better from a hotel priced in the higher end of its market, and did not find the higher cost a particularly good value.

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Room was clean but bathroom was dodgy at best. Property needs massive updates in the rooms and hallways. Staff was very kind and well above the standards of the rest of the hotel. Would not recommend hotel but would highly recommend the staff.

The shower in the initial room had no pressure at all and was unusable and the tile grout was mouldy. In the second room offered; the water from the vanity tap and shower rose smelt like sewage and did not leave me feeling clean and refreshed. The towels and and bathrobe were threadbare to the point of having holes in them. The condition of the bathroom fittings and fixtures was sub-standard and unacceptable. The staff were friendly and professional. The food was good and the pools were good. This is my third visit and it's definitely in decline. Clearly needs some investment to bring it back to an acceptable standard. Wont be going back.

Hotel is in a good location near Walking Street and other nightlife. The staff are friendly and helpful and meals are good. Rooms are clean and spacious and there was no noise noticed from traffic or Walking Street. I stayed in a deluxe room and it was perfect for my requirements. I used the gym every day and there is a nearby park suitable for jogging during daylight hours.

The entire staff for the hotel and bar/restaurant were incredibly friendly, helpful and made me feel like family. Food was good to great, drinks and bar clean, reasonable and the housekeeping staff exceled.
The ONLY draw back to the stay was that I was in a Non-smoking room, and somehow cigarette smoke found its way to my room from outside or an adjacent room. The staff did their best to mitigate, but it did not work well.
I would return to tis hotel again if and when I visit thesame area.

Great place. Quiet but close to bars and cafes. The crowning glory are the 2 pools !
Helpful staff were happy to do pruning for me and even a couple of days room upgrade when they didn’t have my oreferr d option.

Good place to stay for the price. Its a older hotel but clean they have a great pool set up but closed the swim up bar. Also they close the pool at 9pm

The Hotel does need some work on it, No hot water. But i would stay there again, it is so friendly. the staff are fantastic.
