For the price I was definitely looking for a larger room. With even two suitcases and a crib, you need to get creative and say goodbye to every inch of floor space. Also, it’s pretty dated. But GREAT breakfast and very good staff.

Enjoyed our stay! Very friendly staff and breakfast buffet was excellent! Location was very convenient with train stations and shopping areas nearby.
The only drawback was the shower. Water leaked from shower to outside of shower area where adjacent toilet was located. Needed to put a towel after every shower so water did not flow to the toilet area.

Great location, within walking distance of touristy destinations. Front desk staff was very helpful, everyone spoke good English, really nice bar and lounge areas, nice sitting for breakfast and the food was great.

This is a place is a gem. The breakfast os too expensive usD$75.00 for 2 adults and one child, and it had not many variety . I also learned with this hotel that Japanese dont have balance, meaning or is white or black. We arrived at the hotel 30 minutes before the check in, and I told them to start the process of check in and we will wait until 3, but at least we can start the process and they were saying “no check in is at 3” I mean that talks A LOT ABOUT SERVICE! Anyways, I love the hotel, the beds , sheets , towels, clean and neat, and the surrounding everything is closed by

Staff were very accommodating. They combined two reservations and gave us a VIP upgrade so we didn’t have to change rooms. Nice room and shower. Conveniently located to Kyoto station.

I was clearly indicating on the reservation, 2 adults and 2 kids. If the hotel room is not big enough, it should not allow us to book for 4 people. The beds were way too small for four people. The staff asked us to upgrade or get another room. I don’t mind the hotel doesn’t have big rooms, but it should let us know before we arrive , so we can change hotels.

Not a lot of space within the room for the price. We needed to ask for the room to be cleaned better as there was dust in one of the corners.

The location is unbeatable. Literally one minute walk from Tokyo Station main exit.

It is a right next to Kyoto JR station and a bus stop, with a large shopping complex including tens of restaurants, so you can go anywhere you want easily, and there will be no worries getting no food to eat

The hotel location and service are excellent. It’s right across from the train station, convenience to go around. Breakfast is very nice and has a lots of variety.
Only one thing no as I expected was that the rooms are small. But it was not bother us to much as the service was great.

This is a good hotel in a great location. The staff are polite and helpful. The reason I took off one star because I am an Expedia Gold member and the hotel is a VIP hotel. When I asked if they have room available for upgrade, they said they had a suit but I had to pay extra even they knew I am a Gold member. I stayed in many VIP hotels and they always upgraded me when there was availability. I didn’t want to argue because I am ok with room I book.

Property was food and clean and conviently located. Room we recieved was ok but the air con was really bad and really slow to cool down the room. Staff were friendly and helpful. Slightly overpriced for what it is. The restuarant is really poor and is extremely overpriced.

This was great for our 5 night stay. It was right next to the kyoto train station which made it very convenient for us to travel and even get taxis at all hours of the day. The porta dining options in the basement area of the station was very convenient too although we chose to dine elsewhere on some evenings. Overall i would recommend it highly. Only issue we faced was that we barely had room to move around once our luggage arrived within the room.

Room was normal size, was traveling with a family of 4 and was able to move around with 4 suitcases. Staff very friendly and professional. Hotel located right next to kyoto station which makes the location perfect. Breakfast was really good i would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling with a family or single traveler.
