This was a great Hostel, location was 10/10 beach and old town access. My only gripe was no tea facilities in room, and felt a bit awkward asking for a
€1 tea. Spotlessly clean, room cleaned every day.

It was the most spectacular experience. This hostal for 9 nights was my safe and happy place to go back. I will definitely go back. A home sweet home kind of place. Gaston and Leonel at the Reception were very helpful every time I needed them. I loved Hostal Italia. Best location in town

This is a great place to stay if your looking for clean, secure, comfortable, friendly, good value for money accommodation.
Two minute walk to the beach and right in the centre. Close to railway station and bus station. 24 hour desk, sun terrace, room safe, room TV. Room cleaned every day to a high standard. Great pressure on shower and continuos hot water. My second visit. Will definately book here again

The Italia is a good little Hostel for a short stay. Would recommend.

Meeting up with friends. The staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel was very clean and fresh. The location is amazing for the beach, restaurants, shops and public transport. It has its own private underground car park too. We have stayed here several times.

The room was dark, the sheets didn’t fit the bed, and no outside window. No English TV and the battery had run out in the remote.It was like being in a cell.I tried to get moved but they said they were full. Not helpful at all.The breakfast was not worth €3. One bread roll, one orange juice, one coffee.Reception supposed to be open 24 hours but was still in shutdown mode even after 6 a.m.

Very clean and well maintained hotel. The rooms are basic with air conditioning TV and a balcony. Its central to the restaurant and 5 minutes to the beach. Everything is within easy reach of all the town has to offer. Would recommend if on a budget. They do offer a breakfast in the main area but their is plenty of choice in the many eating establishments

From first arrival check in to leaving for the return home we could not fault the staff, accommodation or locality of this establishment. We chose the Italia after strong recommendations from family members and we were not disappointed in any way, in fact we are booked to return in a few months time.

Good check in and check out. Friendly staff. Room kept very clean and towels changed regularly. Location very good and central. My only problem was the sound proofing within the hotel. I think my room was next to owners rooms therefore I was woken up every morning at about 6.30am when the person got up to presumably prepare breakfast and also when night porter? came up at around 1.30am. I could hear furniture being moved nearby at these times too. That was my only issue as I had come for a quiet break and sadly that wasn't achieved on this trip.
