The shuttle service was superb!

Good location and the free shuttle service but overall I was very disappointed in this Marriott. The hotel lobby and the rooms are very cold and don’t provide a relaxing atmosphere. The front desk was not very helpful or knowledgeable. We had a problem with the door to our room, it was very difficult to open and we asked for maintenance to check it out, they never came. There is seldom anyone in the restaurant or bar and they are expensive. Don’t bother buying a candy bar, $7.00 for a kit kat.

This was our first trip to Portland and our time in this amazing city was further amplified by this great hotel. The room seemed brand new and extremely spaces - we had two king beds for our family of four! The lobby is a great meeting area and has a lounge that functions as a Starbucks in the morning and nice bar in the evening. And all of Portland's Old Port attractions are a short walk away.

The hotel is in the convenient location to Old Port and harbor. The hotel is fully upgraded and renovated. Only complaint I have is the surprising additional charge I have to pay. Given the location and the time I stay, I knew the price range. I booked through the app, while paid at the hotel. Where I was charged more than the price quote I received on the app, while unfortunately I didn’t have the original price quote saved and couldn’t find on the app again. So I’m not happy with the pricing, both Hotel.com and the hotel.

Clean and convenient walking distance to shops and restaurants. I was not pleased with the valet service and the two gentleman working who were rude and difficult.

Well run , as new , great location! All staff very motivated especially Maurisha on reception who went the extra mile to solve several problems. The lady who made up our room(314) was meticulous and listened to our requests 👍👍

We booked a two bed room with a jetted tub and they put us in a single without a tub and claimed they were fully booked.

Well, it would have been nicer if they had free parking. Or at least let us no ahead of time there wasn’t. We didn’t even know how much it was for valet parking until I saw the charge this morning. Also the pool was out of commission so we couldn’t use that.

Located steps away from the Old Port section of Portland, the hotel is close to many restaurants and breweries. Our room was spacious and bathroom was very clean. Loved the shower, and the air conditioner and heat functioned very well. We traveled with two children (10 & 5) and they really enjoyed the pool, which is located to the side of the elevators in the lobby. Pool was smallish, about 15’x25’, depth going from 3 feet to 5 feet at the far end. Water was pleasantly warm too which was great. Our 2nd floor room was just around the corner from the elevators and the fitness room, which we used too. It comes equipped with two Peleton bikes, three treadmills, three eliptical machines, barbells, and pulls. Area seemed safe, many shops and restaurants nearby and minutes away. I would recommend staying at this hotel. Also, parking is valet only at $35.

we had an awesome stay! the absolute perfect spot within walking distance to tons of shops, bars, restaurants and the water!!!

There is not a restaurant in site as listed. Also, not actually a "water" view as listed you see a street. The water is not as close as you would think.

The parking charge was rather pricey

Very enjoyable stay. Room was spacious and clean. Mattresses are not the most comfortable but overall it is an excellent property. Would definitely stay again.

Great hotel, friendly staff. Clean, comfortable rooms. Bistro staff worked their backsides off to serve the crowds, always with smiles.

Staff were very friendly! Helpful and kind. I liked the ease of the valet service even though the additional fee was unnecessary. Large common area which was great for our large family to spend time!

They take pride in what they do. I always feel welcome!!

We didn't have a great stay. Our room was not cleaned and when asked if we could get it cleaned they sent a cleaner who claimed not to be a cleaner but just someone who brings towels. There was also mess in the hallways.

We were surprised to learn there is valet only parking at the hotel $35. The location is good with restaurants nearby.
