It was...fine? No stand-out problems; the room was just pretty musty when we got in, and there looked to be quite a bit of mold on the ceiling, and the shower didn't drain well. But for the price, it was pretty good.

We loved this place! So close to the beach and we enjoyed the city view terrace! Staff was friendly and helped us research and book our next stay in Punta del Este. The other hotel guests also seemed kind and helpful and were clearly regulars when they visited Montevideo. The kitchen area was appropriately stocked for us to use. When we returned to Montevideo and stayed in another area of the city, we remarked regularly that we missed "the old place". Highly recommend!

The room had a very weird and bad smell throughout our stay (the whole floor did). The service was mostly in Spanish and not super friendly. They gave us two keys, but later when we had issues with the key they explained that only one of the keys work, so not great for a group of three, as one of us came in alone with a key that didn't work. Location was nice if you want to go to the beach.

Suites 27 is a great place to stay if you’re visiting Montevideo. The Hotel is located near Pocitos Beach and Punta Carretas shopping mall. It’s very easy to take local buses, especially de 116, which will take you to the Old City (Ciudad Vieja) and Teatro Solís. The staff very friendly and helpful when asking for directions or places to visit. The room was big and had a small kitchen equipped with plates, mugs, utensils, toaster and kettle. There is a small convenience store just beside the hotel where you can get bread, fruits, milk, etc. You can walk to las Ramblas during the day and night.

A cute hotel at a great price located a short block from Pocitos Beach. Clean and comfortable. The kitchenette was small but handy. The shower was awesome, plenty of hot water and a nice shower head. The front desk staff were always helpful (and daytimes, spoke English).

This wonderful Apart-Hotel or Hotel, is located at the heart of the Pocitos neighborhood, half a block from the beach, half a block from the Park, with excellent amenities in front, the best cheese production of this Country. The service could be equal to a 5* hotel, kind and gentle and they can tell you all the secrets. The persons attending you can help with all your desires in the blink of an eye, what ever requirements you might need, mind to say that that rarely happens. This is Montevideo a very friendly City with enchanting people, my regards to the professional who attended us. Fructuoso Pittaluga (30 days of stay)

The location was terrific- half block to the beach and rambla.( perhaps a bit noisy during rush hour) Close to many restaurants and a small market across the street. The staff were all very pleasant and many spoke English. Our room had a very comfortable bead with nice linens. The kitchen was basic but was nice to have a coffee maker and a toaster to make breakfast.

27 Suitrs is located in a great area as it is a block from the beach and there are lots of restaurants and shops close by. The rooms are nice and the kitchen was adequate but not very well equipped. Great cleaning staff and the front desk staff was very helpful. I wiuld recommend this place!

Nice apart-hotel. Steps from Pocitos beach, and everything that MVD has to offer. Staff was friendly and professional. Rooms are spacoius and well-equipped. Good value for your money.

The rooms are nice, no problem about that, but sometimes a very bad smell creeps up from the drain trap in the bathroom and smells from cooking in other rooms penetrate as if no walls. The Bathrooms need maintenance urgently before it starts to decay.

Great reception from Martin throughout stay, large room (we had a beach view!), clean, quiet & a few blocks from Punta Carretas - just great. We got a great deal on an Expedia offer....$59pn, not sure of normal cost, but very good value & a pleasant stay for us. Highly recommended.
