Good location. Short Walk to Han Market and many restuarants near by. Room and bed was comfortable. Only issue is the bathroom/shower needs better lighting and the hot controller for the shower is difficult to configure to use.
Also some band started playing music at 4am one night.

Whilst this isn't a 5-star hotel it is safe, clean, spacious rooms that are air conditioned, large bathrooms and in the middle of walking distance to good food, coffee, shops, river. However best of all, the staff here are very friendly and ready to help with any question or request for help If something isn't right with the room I feel confident it would be taken care of, though I had no issues. I would stay here again.

At check in the staff insisted on keeping our passports, first hotel that was pushy about this in 2 weeks. Finally he agreed to a photocopy, which is what all the other hotels have done. The room was clean but needs paint touched up- flaking off the walls. Shower was good and bathroom clean. My husband’s back was sore but when we went to book a massage the masseuses where wearing very provocative outfits and the man at the desk would not let me stay in the room or in the waiting area for my husband - we decided too sketchy so left without the massage. Breakfast was ok- same spread as most of the other hotels. Would not likely stay here again.

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was ok too, however the cleaner never came to clean it. The breakfast selection could be better too. Simple things like yogurts should be available if you are also focusing on western visitors.

the room is clean and nice, the view is good. However, breakfast buffet is a joke. I tried it once and never want to eat breakfast at the hotel anymore. Moreover, the staff is not really friendly, especially the one who raised her voice when I asked for a higher floor room. The hotel itself is good but the quality and service can be better.

We stayed a the hotel only one night and we got a free upgrade, which was very nice. The bell persons and the serving staff at the breakfast are very nice. Food is good except for the hot drinks are not hot enough.

Overall the room are ok but the bed mattress need changing as its overuse and sag in the middle. Either the bed has not been turn or rotate since it was install.

Very clean hotel with nice rooms and also very clean showers (excellent as this wasnt always the case in Vietnam)! Staff tries to be helpful but we were at a language disadvantage because they didnt speak or understand much English. Location is pretty decent. Breakfast was mediocre.

2nd time at Moonlight. Decent location since its walk-able to many local shops. Very good value for the money, if youre not interested in a regular hotels amenities (pool, lounge, bar). All staff were helpful but they should have more people that know English for problem solving(hotel safe not working, need more towels, etc). Id stay again.

This hotel was great. On check in, they will ask for your passport, and they will give it back when you check out, but I was adviced by a friend to ask them to make a copy, and return it back to you immediately.
Me and my friend were able to hire a motorbike for 20,000 dong (66pence an hour) or 180,000 (£6 for a full day).
The shower and bathroom was excellent, and the breakfast was nice. The bed was big and comfortable, and the hotel can arrange a nice tour for you.
I would stay here again.
