Outstanding staff! We had trouble with our luggage transportation and they were extremely helpful to solve the problem with the company.

very good location nearby the main tran station and main downtown street, also nearby the old town with those sightseeing spots, the osen (hot spring) area especially the out-door one is good too, just the room is bit small

Great onsen. No fuss room, however terrific sound proofing. Location is 5 minutes away from the river and old town.

Value for money and convenient location

This hotel was perfect for our 3-night stay in Takayama: Great location (easy walk from the train and bus stations, close to all the beautiful areas of Takayama, but very peaceful inside) and welcoming and considerate staff. Breakfasts were delicious and the onsens so soothing. Definitely recommend!

Convenient location with nearby subway, 7-11 store, and restaurants. Onsite onsen is quite good. Room is big and clean. The hotel is new. I had a pleasant stay there.

Have a pleasant stay here although the room is considerably small. The room is clean and comfortable. Hotel is 5-7 min walk from Takayama station. Nohi bus terminal is just located next to the station. Convenient for those who want to visit Shirakawago and Kamikochi by bus. Short distance walk to old town.

Clean, small room

I really enjoyed my stay at this property! It was an easy walk from the train station and an even easier walk to the Old Town. I appreciated their rooftop onsen and they had a lovely breakfast. They even provide a service to have different types of pillows which was very unique. If I find my way back to Takayama, I will stay here again.

5 minute walk from the train stations and 5 minutes walk to the historic area. Great hotel with amazing views from the spa upstairs.

Breakfast time is too strict, door close sharply at 9:30. There is no place for customer to eat bento, only in own room, bed worn put, curve down a bit. Excellent location, nice spa

Loved the onsen

This hotel was a perfect choice for a couple of days of rest and a visit in between to Shirakawa-go. Great Onsen.

Good proximity to Station and to the old town, including the cherry blossoms. Easy to find.

The hotel room seems to be refurbished rather than brand new. The location is very convenient. It only takes 3 minutes to walk from Takayama Station. In the past, Takayama Ancient Street was only a 4-minute walk away. There are relatively few breakfast options. There is a natural hot spring on the 9th floor. You need to bring towels from the room when you going up, the hot spring area is also very small. When checking in, because we were arranged to stay on the 3rd floor, I asked to stay on a higher floor. A female colleague who is fluent in English said that you paid to stay on a higher floor? Her attitude is a little bit not good. Does this hotel really charge extra for staying on a high floor?

Clean and comfortable room. Great front desk staff, and complimentary coffee at reception. Just a few minutes walk from train station. Supermarket just down the road.

The room was very clean, and I loved that it has the onsen on the roof. Great view both day and night. Good location, close to the train station. The buffet breakfast was good.

This place is fantastic, they have a rooftop Onsenwith an inside and outside Spa area. It’s in the center for Takayama, you can walk to the train station in three minutes. I could never get a room for this price in America or Europe in a 100 years. The owner is a hard-working, very helpful lady. I will stay at this hotel every time I come to Takayama. You can walk to everything to see in Takayama.

We loved the Sky Spa on the 9th floor! We views from the baths was exquisite and I would come here again for the overall atmosphere of the town of Takayama and stay at this hotel for the Sky Spa, we felt like kings as we had it all to ourselves! The sautéed tofu with Dashi flakes was outstanding at breakfast!

The hotel was very clean and modern looking. Service is great and the breakfast selection was very good. I like that there's a comfortable resting area outside the public bath on L9 so we can wait for each other if one is earlier. Also the location is very near to the bus center

Staff are nice. But many dusts in the room, even they clean everyday. Air is controlled by centre. Always too hot to the room.
