I noticed some thoughtful touches in this hotel, including water pitchers available for use and free refreshments in the lobby. The breakfast is delicious and full of variety. I found the hotel to be very convenient to bus stops and is steps away from the subway station. I would definitely consider this hotel again if I return to Kyoto!

Everything was good although they didn't clean rooms unless requested at the front desk. The hotel is one subway station away from Kyoto Station and 15 minutes away from Gion which made transport decently convenient.

The 3 night stay was pleasant, comfortable beds, clean rooms, room is good size. Breakfast was great, welcome drink in the front ha is always appreciated after a long hot day. Will book same brand hotel next time in Japan.

Breakfast is a highlight, lots of variety and traditional Japanese food. Bathing is a very interesting experience! The room is a bit small for 2 adults and 2 kids (9 and 11 year old). Staffs are very nice. Laundry with dryer helps a lot for our long trip.

Hotel itself is great but location aint so much. Yes, metro station is a minute away BUT if you want to go onto diff metro line, it was >15min walk in scorching heat to next station. So for couple times, we rather walk to destination then walk to metro station.

The staff was really nice and helpful for various things. There was usually an English speaking staff available. The public bath was very clean and a nice way to relax and unwind after a long day of sightseeing. The pillows were not very comfortable but manageable.

This is a very nice hotel. Very clean and the staff are very helpful. The onsen was very helpful after a long walk all day. For the price of the hotel this is very worth it to stay.

Location was great because we were close to the train station and everything was reachable by train or walking. Rooms were decent size, enough to fit three adults, and everything was nice and clean. Overall, would definitely recommend this hotel and would choose it again whenever I come back.

The hotel was very nice and clean with great breakfast buffet. Their public bath was big and clean and I really enjoyed it after walking around Kyoto all day. Only thing is that there were not too many dining options in immediate area (there were some). Overall it was an enjoyable stay.

The breakfast is worth every penny! Lots of options for both western and Japanese tastes and the coffee is so delicious. Just a short walk away is the restaurant Taiho where you can enjoy the best ramen Kyoto has to offer!

Pros: The staff was lovely!!! The hotel is close to a train station and it is easy to walk anywhere.
Cons: The floor in the room was outright dirty and there was filth behind the toilet lid (mostly yucky hair). It looked like the edges of the carpet (by the walls) were never vacuumed and there were many stains (milk or coffee) on the floor. I could also see some caked in grains of rice scattered around.

We have completed our 5 night stay in this nice hotel which is also the end of our vacation in Japan. Very clean. Quiet area. Good location. In the middle between Kyoto station and downtown Kyoto. Gojo subway station is nearby. My wife loves the bath experience. I like the breakfast buffet. The room size is good as well. The only downside is the high volume of bus tourist companies. The best is the 5 star service and hospitality from the staff. Great experience overall.

Lovely hotel with everything we needed. Comfortable and clean. Staff were friendly and provided a great service.
The only downside was the constant noise in the room from something like a generator or maybe the aircon. It was the only hotel we stayed in where we needed earplugs. Shame because the actual room and facilities were very good.
