Great welcome from staff. Room was good - only negatives were gaps in curtains and mattress so firm my hips hurt.

The beans were cold at breakfast but other than that it was fine. The bed was also a little short for me and I’m only 5”7

Great hostel. Front desk was nice and helpful. Room was clean but a little hot. Hostel is a little far from the city. Took an uber to the city but the hostel is in a nice quiet spot.

Awesome place. It was a little further away for us but great likely for those who don’t want to be too amidst the hustle and bustle of a more central location. Easy train access via Canada Water station to go just about anywhere in Central London or the surrounding areas. Breakfast buffet was very inexpensive and fantastic! Great stay overall and would book again for sure if I was lookin to stay in that area.

Unbelievably friendly gentleman at the reception desk! Even though it's beyond the control of the hostel, other guests were equally respectful of shared space and discreet during "quiet" hours. I did not have trouble getting rest in a 6-person dorm. Room was very clean considering the circumstances and so was the kitchen - well organized and rules clearly laid out for everyone. Lots of in-house food options and things to rent for people travelling light. YHA London Thameside was what I needed for my stay but make sure it is for you as well as it is slightly on the outskirts of London (to my tourist eyes). However, I had no trouble getting to the center with nearby Overground and bus services!

Great hostel stay; good location; excellent staff and breakfast; typical hostel beds (but they were made!). 2 GBP for a towel, but the towels were big and good. Would definitely recommend it.

Easy check in and check out process. I appreciated the late check in option as the LNR trains were on strike so I didn't get to the hostel til 12AM. Only stayed for 1 night, but location to the Tube was convenient.

Caters to a disruptive and destructive group of young people discouraging adult guests from staying. I left - no refund - without using any of three rooms shown. Needs to become an elder-hostel for over 35s to stay, learn and see the sights. Rooms had been Vaped in or used as laundry favilities.

We had a great time in London and this was the perfect place to stay away from the city. It was a good location to walk to other places and link up with transportation.

Everything was good accept that the showers in the rooms didbt have a shower head and there was some issues with the fire alarm that went off if you left the bathroom door open after a shower, didn't bother too much though.

They allowed us to check in quite late. We spent the day exploring London then checked in close to midnight. The rooms were clean and fairly quiet.

Friendliest staff doing everything to make us comfortable. Late check in was very easy. Room is decent size. Perfect location. Bus around the corner and underground at 12 minutes walk.

Great hostel in ideal location for visiting nearby night club Printworks. Staff were very friendly and price was reasonable, especially considering London location.

We arrived early and they checked us in , it was very nice of them. Overall, this hostel is very nice. It is located in a very nice area , clean facility and easy access to train station just 6 minutes walk to Rotherhithe Station and 15 minutes walk to Canada Water. Very friendly staff and helpful.

There were minor problems with some of the equipment - certain outlets weren’t functional and there was a leak in the bathroom. However, as soon as issues were mentioned to the staff, they were quickly fixed. Only real problem was that the wifi didn’t reach our room.
