Beautiful hotel in a great location, only five minutes from the temple of the tooth and the lake. Very good and efficient service.Our room was big, comfy with good air conditioning. The pool is very nice as is the roof top bar.Overall highly recommended!

Just stayed one night due to our tight schedule. Room was clean with a comfortable bed. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Good breakfast. My only complaint is the pool closes at 7:30pm, so we did not get to use it since we had a full day of other activities planned.

It is a simple hotel but really ticks all the boxes well. Rooms are spacious and cool, and it is well located next to the Tooth Relic Temple and Queens hotel

Great location in the middle of the City centre close to the Temples and the Main street. A bit noisy

Staff lazy. Hotel dirty. It was not a pleasant experience at all

The service was excellent. We needed to leave early for a tour one day and they opened the kitchen and got us breakfast earlier than their usual time so that we could eat prior to leaving. When our driver didnt show up (booked by me, not them) they hustled to get us a replacement. When I needed change to pay said driver they found me change. Wifi worked great and location was very convenient.

This Hotel didn't keep the promise for late check out at 3pm instead ask me to check out at 12pm.

This hotel has the best possible location. It is around the corner from the Queen's hotel on a street full of shops but the street itself a bit off the tourist path. It was also less than a 5 minute walk to the temple of the tooth and the promenade around the lake. Great staff, comfortable rooms. Wifi was spotty but wasn't a big deal.

A fab hotel right in the centre of Kandy. Good clean rooms with everything you need, fridge, fan a/c. Good bathroom and comfy beds. The staff really do go out of their way and nothing is too much trouble. Food is excellent, we took the half board option and were not disappointed. Some nights a buffet others 4 course a la carte. All was excellent. Roof top bar is a nice place for a drink at the end of the day. Highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again. They could teach the 5 star hotels a thing or two!

Preface this review in that we have never been to Kandy or Sri Lanka before our 20 day holiday trip this past Dec 2016 and Jan 2017. However, we book virtually all of our accommodations and flights through Expedia, you try to rely on reviews and ratings. The location is terrible. The hotel is stuck between two other buildings on a noisy and high traffic road from around 5 AM to 11 PM every night. The room faced onto the main street and we were on the 5th floor (the highest floor). We were told "but sir, you are on a high floor, and the noise does not reach your unit". The furniture in the room was at least 20 years old. The bed sheets were grey in color and bed was uncomfortable. One of the worst parts was the SMELL. We were escorted into our room by the door person tending to our luggage. The SMELL was comparable (and I can only imagine) to that of rotting, moldy gym socks that were worn and never washed, then stored in a corner of the room, only after someone urinated on them. The SMELL hits you the minute you walked into the room. When we checked out and arrived at our next hotel, the SMELL permeated our luggage and clothes and we had to have all of our clothes washed in order to wear them. TOTALLY DISGUSTING.
