With the kindness and generosity of the owners, it's easy to overlook some of the small issues at the establishment. Overall, I had an enjoyable experience and would consider going back again. However, there were a few areas that could be improved. Firstly, the walls were quite thin, which resulted in some noise disturbances. Additionally, the mattresses seemed to be outdated and not very comfortable. It would be beneficial for the owners to consider investing in newer mattresses for better guest comfort. Furthermore, the small freezer in the room didn't seem to be functioning properly, which was a bit disappointing. It would be great if this issue could be addressed to ensure that guests can have access to a fully functioning freezer. Another concern was the presence of a rust-like smell, which seemed to affect the air quality. It is possible that the air conditioner filters may need to be changed or the ventilation system inspected. This would greatly improve the overall ambiance and guest experience. On a positive note, I must mention that breakfast was absolutely delightful. The quality and selection of food were excellent, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. In conclusion, while there were some minor issues during my stay, the hospitality and kindness of the owners overshadowed them. I appreciate their efforts and would recommend the establishment.

This place had very friendly owners and some great amenities including a fire pit with s’mores in the evenings, full breakfast every morning from 7-10 with made to order waffles, a hot tub, and other nice touches. Right across the street from a great restaurant and convenient location for hiking the Whites. Would definitely stay again. Room are a little older but spacious, and there was a bear making a ruckus outside in the dumpster the first night when we left our windows open (recommend sleeping with them closed unless you want to wake up around 3 am).

We had a fabulous time. The owners are very welcoming, there was lots to do, breakfast was delicious. We hope to make this an annual trip.

For the first time a bed and breakfast felt like home and it is also due to the lovely couple running it with their adorable dog Nana. We felt like we were saying goodbye to family while leaving and my 10yr old son promised to return in Fall!

We enjoyed our stay very much. If your looking for a friendly quite place this is it. Dated but very homey feeling so if your looking for new and modern definitely not the place. Best breakfast ever.....

Delicious breakfast, hospitable hosts, a fluffy dog, ping-pong, air hockey, and foozball, free XC ski passes. Afternoon hot tea. Close to N. Conway, Jackson, Black, and Attitash. Small room but the four of us made do. Incredibly quiet. Easy walk to dinner at Tuckerman’s.

The owners are fantastic people. The breakfast blueberry waffles are the best. The property is past its prime, needs lots of investment for restoration to 4 or 5 star condition.

Rod & Linea are the nicest and most helpful proprietors of this very cosy B&B. Terrific breakfast w delicious loaded waffles, lots of chipmunks and birds around, comfy room w bath, and lovely hot tub and 85' pool. Close to many bars and restaurants and lovely hiking. We'll come again!!!

We loved the property, just needs a little tidying up around the area. Rod & Linea are fantastic inn keepers. The best waffles, hands down, especially Rod’s Banana Waffles! We absolutely loved sitting at breakfast watching the many different species of birds enjoying themselves. Oh, we can’t forget to mention, Nana, the welcoming Alaskan Malamute, she’s absolutely the most chilled dog!

Food was great,staff was super friendly,room was comfortable,bed was one the best i slept in a long time. Very quaint Inn what i expected to find in New Hampshire.

The old field house was unlike any place ive ever stayed. First- we were greeted by Nana, the house dog: such a love. The owners were very pleasant, always available, and made us feel welcome and comfortable. The building is very cozy and homey. Our room was clean, and spacious enough. The king bed was super comfortable. The breakfast was your usual choices (cereals, fruit, toast, eggs, sausage and different types of waffles.) Good quality and tasty. Their game room was my favorite part. Felt like youre in your Grandmas living room. Cozy with board games, sofa, fire place. The jacuzzi is outdoors. Only negative for us was the pool. Its "indoor" but its really in a seperate tin barn which is not heated. The water was plenty warm, but it was 20 degrees out when we went so it was just too cold for us to enjoy. Though we did go in for a half hour which was all the time we needed to fill anyway.

It was a really comfortable stay. A homely place near to the white mountain. Couldn’t have asked for more.

Clean but the facility needs to be updated.( Looks like the 1980s). Breakfast was nothing special ( scrambled eggs, sausages, fruit, cereal, etc) provided. Owners were very nice and helpful.

Honestly it was clean and cute. Like being at grandmas house. However beds were super uncomfortable and flat pillows were terrible. The power outlets need replacing in our room because nothing would stay plugged in.

The place was tired. Our room was nice. The breakfast cook was great. Blueberry waffles are delicious!

Innkeepers were fantastic! Being a bed and breakfast you get a room and a bath, small but nice. But, when the kids are out of school, there is noise and plenty of it. Every day there were kids running up and down the hallway at like 7:00 and at night we even had some knocking on the door (wrong room thing). Great breakfast there and a fantastic restaurant right across the street, Tuckermans. Overall, this really is a nice friendly and clean place to stay with kids. I would go back again but I would probably do it when the kids are in school or look for somewhere a tad quieter. I think it is in one of the better locations right in between North Conway and Jackson.
