Great support, excellent breakfast. Pool is smaller than expected when seeing the photos.

The representative at the front desk was so welcoming. She made my check in very easy and smooth. I was very pleased with the level of service and my overall experience. The entire staff was great. I highly recommend this location and business to anyone. Thank you for making my stay an excellent experience. I will definitely be returning.

It would be a good option to have a food and drink area at the pool.

The Good- The hotel and hotel staff were awesome! Was able to check in early thankfully, the hotel was super clean from the lobby to the room. The Bad- Be prepared to spend an extra $75 per day to valet your car, unless you are comfortable with leaving your vehicle in an overnight garage down the street that can be rather questionable. They have room to valet your car and everybody else’s, but won’t let you park at the property unless you pay the valet fee. Major inconvenience to the guests, and seems like a money grab from people who are already paying good money to stay at this property. The breakfast area is absolute chaos especially on a weekend, there is no method to the madness I called it the “good luck” getting your breakfast! The unfortunate- Homelessness is a big problem in America! You are given a glimpse of that, as soon as those doors open to walk outside. From the front of the property to any street you walk down around the area. Be cautious but stay vigilant and always keep your head up! This is my experience take from it what you will. 7 1/2 out of 10 I would stay here again!

Far from the beach. There are good hotels infront of the beach. Breakfast very poor, no fruit or good cereal, no oven or toaster. Bed Clothing very old.very expensive fornot reason.

We enjoyed our weekend stay. Breakfast was a nice bonus.

Ac kept shutting off

Wonderfully comfortable hotel. Staff were very accommodating and attentive. My room was spacious with beautiful not typical hotel art which was appreciated and felt more upscale. It was also a short walk to the Santa Monica pier where me and my team took in the beautiful sunset views of the ocean. had a chance to speak with the evening parking attendant Dorian and he was so kind and helpful. Kudos to their entire staff. I would definitely stay here again when I visit Santa Monica.

Bathroom cleanliness was not good. Front office staff were not accommodating. Area around the hotel is dirty and unsafe.

My family and I had a great stay at Hampton Inn. The front desk and valet staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good and my kids really enjoyed it. Our room was next to the train track and it was slightly noisy at times but was bearable. We felt very safe in and around the property and having the key card for access to hotel and elevator adds additional security. We also did not observe any homeless people in the immediate area during our stay. Public transportation is just out front of the hotel, but we rented a car during our stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay again.

I will not go to this hotel next time I am in Santa Monica. My bed was wet when I got to the room.

Fantastic rooms- great valet service, awesome location

Valet parking was great. Check-in and check-out people were not friendly or welcoming. The refrigerator in our room didnt work. The floor lamp didnt work. I did a load of laundry - $8 for wash and dry. My clothes did not dry and there was no option to dry a little more - I needed a full $4 rate again. I was NOT happy! Nowhere to sit and wait for laundry. Elevator door kept closing on (hitting) my mother who uses a walker and moves slowly. After check out i realized I'd been charged $140 - no clue why. Certainly the little box of laundry soap wasnt $140.

Shower water pressure was terrible. Barely any water coming out. They charge way too much for valet parking and that is the only option since you cannot self park.

The best part of this property are the Valets! So kind, engaging and fast (though they could clearly use more as these guys were working hard!) Front desk staff seemed very unfamiliar with the area-suggesting it would take an hour to drive to the beach (took less than 10 minutes on a busy weekend morning) or dinner recommendations. The surrounding area is DIRTY-so many unhoused persons just right outside the hotel, filth and garbage everywhere outside. There is a Target and Trader Joe's across the street so that is nice. Rooms are fine-clean and average just so noisy with the bus line/metro next door

Valet staff was exceptionally kind

TV was unplugged, AC was turned off when we checked in, temp was 77. Even though rooms were cleaned , couldn’t enter property until exactly 4.

What I like the most is that, the facility is clean and it is close to everything. Their valet staff's are awesome, front desk a little too serious.

Amazing place. It’s super cleaned. The staff is amazing. My family and I loved Maritza. She is so sweet and helpful. Breakfast is amazing. Place is beautiful. Definitely coming back.

Was almost perfect great service great amenities can't beat the free breakfast very clean my only complaint would be getting charged 55$ a night +tax for parking that's a bit ridiculous with that said me and my family had a blast

Terrible WiFi. Poor tv service

The gym is very small with not that much equipment for someone who is into working out. It’s basic and needs more variety of machines to get a full workout.

Lots of homeless people outside and by the metro transit railway, although the hotel is secured as only those with key cards can access the door

Pros: easy check-in. Valet service for parking. Spacious room with fridge and good shower pressure. Cons: Broken elevator, very crowded breakfast area, nowhere to sit and food kept running out before we could even get anything.
