The rooms are nice and it’s a great change from a typical hotel. It’s great proximity to some things you could walk to. But the rail yard behind the building is a deal breaker. I slept poorly due to all the noise. The front door needs some work for better security.

Great boutique hotel. Fun, unique rooms. You won’t get all the amenities or toiletries like you would get at a chain hotel, but this is a great place to stay and we will be back!

I absolutely loved this little boutique hotel. The pictures do not do it justice. You have to visit it to truly experience the ambiance with simple, natural minimalist design. Bonus: It’s just minutes from an assortment of international cuisine. The 12 ft (?) ceilings and sky light in the bedroom made the room feel massive yet intimate. I enjoyed the fresh roasted coffee (from the coffee shop) with easy pour over instructions. Waking up and walking down to Eurasia Coffee Co. was a highlight of my stay. The baristas shared info about the chocolatier, Askinosie, less than a block away. And offered suggestions on drinks/food. Their syrups our house made and I loved the homemade caramel that tasted like brown butter. Overall my stay was pretty amazing, but I have a few minor suggestions for improvement… 1) Since this was my first experience booking a boutique hotel I did not consider that the hotel would have specific hours for checking in. Upon arrival the front door was locked and we luckily found someone around back that was able to let us in. I would suggest an after hours email be sent out or a call when the front desk is closing down. 2) I was not able to get a good night’s rest because the air conditioner was going on and off in a very loud manner. Turns out there is a ‘sleep mode’ that I found out a little too late. My suggestion would be to put a card on the bed that advises the guest to put the a/c on ‘sleep mode’ to assist in more restful sleep.

The property was very pretty, historic with nice updated touches. The coffee shop downstairs smelled amazing. Unfortunately didn’t get to try it due to time constraints, but we had a great time and would stay again.

This was one of the coolest stays we’ve ever had! It has a loft feel and you are immersed in several international cities culture based on the room you’re in. *Hints the name Culture Boutique”. Will recommend and stay again!

This is our fourth stay here. We were thankful to find an available room at the last minute! My husband and I love how clean and unique each room is. We also appreciate the convenience of the location too.

We love this hotel. It’s very unique and quiet. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. The only thing I would change would be for them to add black-out curtains so guests can sleep in more if desired.

Great stay

This place is adorable and the mattress is awesome. It was very clean. It's just missing many of the standard amenities and needs some upkeep. There was no clock, no radio, no USB to charge our phones and we could not get the tv to work. The windows were boarded which I found very odd. The main entrance to the hotel locks after the coffee shop closes. It has a code to get in but it did not seem very secure at all. Once we got the jetted tub full it would not drain because the knob was broken. Probably the biggest oddity is that the bathroom is open to the sleeping area. No privacy when using the restroom. Maybe if we were able to Check-in earlier and have somebody come look at the things that we found that were issues it might have been a better experience.

Such a nice place to stay. My wife and I enjoyed the convenience of being able to wake up and just head down to the coffee shop. We never noticed any noise from below or beside us. It felt as though we had our own totally private space. We would stay again in a heartbeat

Love this property. Conveniently located near Drury University with easy access and parking. There are a few restaurants nearby in a safe walking distance. Coffee shop downstairs very handy. Not all will love the location but it was perfect for me to access the Drury campus and visit my son and avoid the traffic.

The room was great! We love the style and how roomy it was! The neighborhood looks to be an older area that has become an eclectic neighborhood full of shops and dining establishments. The building across the street has been boarded up as it is in transition, but don’t let this give you pause. We felt totally safe. We will definitely stay here again!

The hotel backed up on the train yard, so there was train noise all night long.

Amazing place to stay! Beautiful historic Springfield! 6 rooms located above a coffee shop. Super clean and inviting! Big room, very nicely decorated! Quiet and peaceful. There is a train track nearby but didn't bother us at all! Easy drive to downtown and local attractions! Loved this location and will definitely be back!

The Culture Boutique Hotel is a charming and unique property that makes you feel like you are somewhere completley different than Missouri.

This a gem for the lucky ones who are open-minded and adventurous. A six room hotel located in the old historic business district of Springfield. From the outside it is a slightly rundown building, but inside there are bright immensely roomy spaces that are comfortable and a bit luxurious, each one with its own personality. Downstairs is a coffee shop and quiet spaces to visit and hang out. The only downside is that there is no management on site. We loved it so much that we stayed a second unplanned night.

We found this little gem by searching places close by the Assemblies of God offices where my wife and ai were doing some classes… The history and story behind the hotel and coffee shop is amazing! Every time we come back, we will be staying there!

Cute and cozy spot, that my girlfriend and I loved

The room was lovely, except trying to sleep or use the restroom was not easy. The volume from the railway all night kept us awake and the skylight and windows with only sheer covering made it hard with all the ambient street lighting shining in. Would have been much better if the room could have been darker. Also, the bathroom had no door, only a thin see through curtain making it uncomfortable to do what one does in a bathroom unless the tv was turned up.

I travel all the time for work and never leave reviews, but this hotel was a total pleasure to spend the night. The building is beautiful and everyone is so incredibly nice. I will definitely be back here just to enjoy the hotel.

The place is above a coffee shop and only has 6 rooms available. All the rooms are super cute. The area seemed safe. A few abandoned buildings and railroad tracks near by but no big deal. Only complaint was the water pressure. The shower head had water buildup and water was barely coming out. Otherwise, amazing place. 10/10 would stay again.

A small property managed independently. The owners put heart and soul into hotel property and adjoining coffee shop and work space. Reasonable price and good amenities. A little loud due to vaulted ceilings and railroad/trains frequently outside.

Location was great! Room was Excellent and very comfortable. Check-in after hours a little confusing.
