Fairly clean with air conditioning and a nice private restroom for each bedroom. The only problem were the fixtures. The doors are squeeky and are coming off the hinges. Yeah, that's right, the doors are literally falling off. You have to lift it and force it back into the slot. The chairs on the patio are also falling apart and you can't sit on them. The location could not be better - literally a few feet from the entrance to the Rock fortress with the best local restaurants just adjacent as well. Overall the place needs renovation but for $50 night it's probably the best deal you can get right now. BTW do NOT pay for any buffet at the hotel, cheaper and more delicious food is available 100 feet down the road.

Good value for money but not an amazing place. Service not very attentive and breakfast okay but no more than that. Rooms were decorated nicely and had a good feel, but the place felt a little neglected.

Great location; nice facility; bad kitchen The hotel is located right at the exit of the Lion Rock; super convenience. Stoned building with teak furniture; entire environment is nicely set; with comfortable bed. However, food at the restaurant is awful. There are nice restaurants just next door; no need to have your meals in the hotel. Also, I sent the message to the hotel to be sure of the address twice but never got any reply.

Small property but clean and very close to Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Food quality is excellent. The staff particularly in restaurant are great. On the whole really enjoyed our stay. Wish to thank particularly the staff in Restaurant.

Put us in another hotel which was one we specifically didn’t want to go to due to ‘power cut’ in our room (rest of the hotel was fine). Despite us being moved miles down the road staff were very rude.

We had a wonderful stay at EKHO Sigiriya. The hotel is well decorated, comfortable and immaculately clean. The staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly throughout our stay. Breakfast was great. Location is excellent. We would recommend staying here!

We had such a lovely stay at this hotel. It was very calm and peaceful and the staff were very attentive. The bed was very comfortable and the food was delicious! Within walking distance of restaurants and lion’s rock!Would definitely recommend to others.

Hotel was comfortable, clean and simply decorated. Staff were friendly and service was good. Location to Sigiriya rock was brilliant.

Simple design with excellent attention to detail. Great linens. Great kitchen staff close to the rock. But not much to do if you need to be entertained. But very relaxing

The chef did everything wlmy friend asked and more, eggless bread, heatles curry, plain lectus salads, plain rice, all tasted quite good (unbelievable), my friend's gut was able to rest and had recovered here... My food was delicious too, of course but the effort to nursing my friend is so moving we could not thank the staff enough 2, The hotel also arranged for all our excursions in the cultural hub, very good drivers and cars 3, If you like quiet, make this the base of the cultural hub; right across the entrance to the preacher rock park,10 minute bike to pidurangala, 1 hr car to mineryia park, 1.5 hr car to polonaruwa and anuradhapura (excluding local traffic time), 30 min tuk tuk to dambulla caves Kandi is far , 2.5-3 hr, round trip for us took 10 hrs and 5 went to driving, You can also book tour to trincomalee here This is the biggest hotel here , 20+ rooms, some small bars and restaurants, not rowdy or noicy, ATM 500 meters down the road or 10 min walk to preacher rock museum,（nice walk too)

The place was located near to Sigiriya rock. It was a good stay. However, breakfast is not as great as the other hotel we had stayed nearby for the price we had paid for. Wifi speed is slow and non-responsive.
