Excellent experience.

The most incredible hotel, perfectly located in old town. Across the street from a temple & an easy walk to anything you want to see here. The breakfast is great. The tea time from 2p-4p is an incredible touch & really sets them apart from any other hotel. I’m a solo female traveler and felt incredibly safe and taken care of while I was here. It was the perfect peaceful place to call home.

Great hotel; great location, great room. Amazing service. My only request would be for more healthy breakfast options like plain yoghurt and fruit and oatmeal. Did not like the fruit they offered.

Excellent boutique hotel in the middle of Old Town. Everything was perfect about it. One exception would be bugs in our bed. Once found them, however, the staff was quick to come in and change the sheets.

It has been a most enjoyable stay with services exceed my expectation. The front desk staff including Somo and Karen are efficient, friendly and always helpful. The afternoon tea is a unique experience with excellent food and services. I definitely will come again and choose this hotel.

We stayed at Chala 6 at beginning and end of trip to Chaing Mai - lovely hotel in a great location - lots of restaurants nearby - temples across the street - comfortable rooms and beds - tons of free snacks and drinks- and bathroom amenities - great spot Staff very accommodating and efficient - and pleasant -good English skills - I had an accident with a motorcycle and broke some ribs - they arranged a taxi to Ram Hospital which itself is the best hospital I have ever used - complete trip took an hour for doctor consults and X-rays - Thailand should be training the west for how to run a medical facility We would definitely stay here again - one side of the hotel backs against a school and we loved the sounds of little children in the morning - but others may have been disturbed. We rented the junior suite first time (quiet) and just a delux with balcony on second stay - had a good massage in attached spa - but there are many nearby on street - Great staff

Exceeded our expectations. Location was phenomenal for what we wanted to accomplish. The Sunday market outside the front door was a spectacular upside benefit. Was tremendously helpful that gluey offered laundry service.

Chala went above and beyond to make our honeymoon stay memorable. The hospitality, the kindness, the special touches and experiences. Can't wait to return and can't speak more highly of this beautiful place!

From the moment we walked in the staff made us feel welcome and helped with anything we needed. The rooms were beautiful and the garden with the pool and bar was a great resting place. The location can’t be beat. You can walk anywhere or grab a tuk tuk or car very quickly.

Chala Number 6 hotel is right in the centre of the Old City, surrounded by temples, restaurants and small shops. It's easy to walk around and enjoy the city from outside the hotel. Also, as soon as you step through the hotel front door you are made very welcome by the staff. Breakfast is good and had a wide choice. There is a nice pool area that's never crowded and they serve free afternoon tea with small snacks from 2 to 4pm.

Wonderful stay. Beautiful hotel in the heart of chiang Mai

We picked this hotel because we wanted to experience a Thai traditional feel at a good location. Chala Number 6 met and exceeded our expectation. It is located right in the middle of the night market. It is within walking distance to all the popular landmarks. In addition, we love everything about the hotel, the design the location, the staff etc. The breakfast buffe is excellent. Will stay there again.

There were some tiny bugs crawling around in the room and on the bed. I find that very annoying. Also, it was very noisy in the morning because there is a schools across the street

The pool is as very cold, but everything else was stellar!

Chala Number 6 sold me with its posted pics of a tranquil oasis in what I knew to be a hectic city. As we flew in, I feared it would be a disappointment. Fortunately, it was exactly as advertised. From the two story waterfall into the infinity pool to the open air bar and lounging area to the large, lovely and well-maintained rooms it was a great break in the middle of a busy couple of weeks of travel. Once outside the hotel, there’s lots to see and do (the large Sunday Night Market is just outside the front doors and a large temple is across the street). Once in the hotel, it’s calm and beautiful. The staff were all so helpful and accommodating. Lovely service! And the included breakfast buffet was large and had different savory options each morning. Some days options: pineapple fried rice, curry chicken, spaghetti carbonara (yes, I was unusually open to a different kind of breakfast). Loads of variety as well as the usual western eggs, omelettes, fruit and pastries. We ate dinner at the hotel almost daily with lots of outdoor seating options, if you prefer. The Waya spa is beautiful, clean, and full service. We had massages a few afternoons. Convenient to everything in Old Chiang Mai with tuk tuks to take you anywhere else, this hotel is one of my top hotels ever. The people are gracious and helpful giving the service five stars, as well

Room small being 5 star hotel

We really wanted to love this hotel but the hotel allows smoking within distance of the breakfast dining area which disrupted our meal. Loud smoking guests taking away the experience of others. In addition the manager Pat did a very poor job of managing our guests breakfast at Chala Number 2. This caused much un-needed stress. There is really no excuse for disrupting our stay with poor management skills. I hope they cn find someone better to replace her.

This property is lovely. Great location in old town with a huge temple across the street and night market on the street in front. The room was clean and comfortable with beautiful central garden and pool area.
