Our trip started with Jamie checking us in, she was wonderful. The entire staff we found so friendly and helpful. John, our server at the swimming pig, another example of great service. The staff at the Bungaloo pool? all the lifeguards and servers, wonderful.
We did have 2 pairs of sandals stolen while my daughter and I went for a quick dip in the ocean, and yes they were taken.
The only disappointment I had with the resort was the change you’ve made since my last visit is with the animal area. Kids used to be able to walk thru to see the sharks, rays, birds it was a nice touch. Now, the prices. ! Really? I know everything has gone up but so have your prices. I think those prices are over the top.! Very disappointing.

The booking through Hotels.com did not go into the system so my room wasn't available upon arrival. The hotel finally decided to give me the suite I had booked directly for the following days. I received and upgrade due to no availability for the room I purchase. This was only possible bc I booked a suite for following days directly.

The staff are very accommodating and friendly. The convenience of having everythinng in 1 place really makes it easy to make a whole day of fun without having to leave the resort. I highly recommend staying here.

SLS Hotel was beautiful. The staff were very friendly and nice to deal with. We enjoyed all the pools waterpark and Cable beach water was so clear and delightful. Very pretty property. Being an older couple we were surprised to see so many families with children so young. For being a luxury hotel we felt there were too many kids everywhere. We also felt the cost to eat at the restaurants were over the top expensive. Plus no reservation you dont get in. This is our 2nd time visiting and both times we enjoyed our vacation at Baha Mar.

SLS Baha Mar was lovely. My only concern was how expensive the dining options were. A very dramatic example was that a pint of Ben & Jerry’s at the poolside was $22!! And there wasn’t anywhere else that you can walk to for alternative dining options either.

Had an Amazing stay. My first time visiting Bahamas and it was well worth it. SLS Baha Mar upgraded my room to complimentary beautiful suite when I arrived. Staff and service were great as well. I highly recommend.

The hotel is structurally incredible, boasting numerous beautiful spaces and stunning decor. It's a perfect place for families, with endless fun for kids. The waterpark is fantastic, offering plenty of options to keep children entertained all day long.
However, there are some drawbacks, particularly with the dining experience. Every night, there is a long wait for dinner. Reservations are required, and often, there are no available slots for that evening. Breakfast is also a challenge, with long lines and wait times of up to an hour on some days, which is quite inconvenient.
Another issue is the lack of available lounge chairs on the beach. If you arrive a bit late, you might not find any chairs, or sometimes there are chairs but no umbrellas. Every day, I witnessed people complaining about this. For a luxury hotel, these details should not be overlooked.

Second trip to Baha Mar. stayed at grand Hyatt last year and SLS this year. Great overall resort, expensive, but knew this going in, so not a complaint. Enjoyed the Hyatt more than the SLS. Not rushing back after 2 consecutive summer trips here. There are other places in the world to go see. I do recommend a trip to Baha Mar.

Beautiful hotel lobby and bar. Sky bar was amazing, food prices are astronomical. More than NYC, LA or Dubai. The food is not nearly good enough for the prices they charge, and drinks are $22-$26 a pop.
Staying at the SLS is better value than the Hyatt Baha Mar, but the Hyatt rooms are nicer and you have access to more pools. Both have access to the waterpark. We stayed at the Hyatt the first 2 nights, and SLS the 3rd night. However overall it was an enjoyable vacation, the beach was beautiful, and the hotel grounds are beautiful. Lots of kids, and I have some on my own. But I was shocked with the number of families and small babies. These properties are nicer and newer than the outdated Atlantis.

Check in time was terribly late, and would not even try to help guests with small kids. Staff was a bit rude and not very welcoming when attending to guests.
Beware of your room charges, as they will include restaurants you did not go, movies, and special fees (without notice) of anything you may have need (like a extra fridge).
Dinning cancelation policy was a $100 per person which is just absurd.

The staff were all super friendly and helpful. The food at on-site restaurants was very good although the third party food-truck food was not as good. I did a lot of research before going to SLS and read that filtered water stations were readily available around the property - unfortunately, that was not the case, but the bar tenders would fill our water bottles with ice and water. Although the water from the bar was not filtered and had a slight smell, it was fine to drink. If I had known that filtered water was not going to be readily available, I would have purchased a case of water to have for our consumption while vacationing at SLS.
Overall great experience and would recommend.

Hotel fees were not explained ($90/night), nor were other things. Mini fridge is censored and automatically charge you when you open the door, this was also not explained. I recommend an all inclusive hotel
