The hotel is old with not so good maintenance, but is at good price and just three blocks from the Chinese Theater.

Staff is kind but little bit noisy location. Many shops restaurant around there, it's great.

Really cool really quiet good TV only problem I would say was the water didn’t get hot but other than that everything was fine.

This place looked nothing like the photos. So disgusting I didn’t stay the night. Not to mention it’s a very shady area. It smelled in the room. Furniture was falling apart. Instead of glass in the bathroom window it was a piece of plastic they leaned against the window

The room is not as advertised in the photos, bad smell, the floor shakes with every step you take, the lamps are not connected to the light stream and there is not even a power port near them, I do not recommend it at all.

Over all night staff was super friendly and accommodating. We did have a couple ppl playing loud music around 2-3am which was a bit annoying. We checked out at 10am and morning staff was not as friendly as the night crew. I was helped out by an older gentleman wearing a BoB Marley colored beanie. He was very nice and made my stay a good one. Because of him I would come back.

The room itself was comfortable and fine. They do need some updating, but overall was fine with the room for the price we paid. The exterior is pretty during and maybe a little in the shady side. Homeless people sleeping right outside the front of the building, people doing weird things in the stairwell, etc. I never felt in danger, but if you’re sensitive to these type of situations, you may want to pay a little more for another hotel. Parking lot is SUPER tight and difficult to navigate when full, but not impossible.

A scary-ass place with a lot of poverty and public consumption of drugs in the area. VERY poor condition and old and not well maintained at all. Workers were pleasant and doing the best they can with limited resources.

As of February 2024 : The photos of the website on Expedia, or even on its own website - look nothing like the actual hotel in real life. The hotel isn’t in a safe spot. Lots of shady people in and around the hotel. The front desk photocopied our visa, and each piece of ID for my wife and I. We went up to our room and there was no glass on the window - just screens and shutters. Back window was open too. Door lock bolt was broken off. Room was closets thing to anything looking like the photos on site. We called Expedia right away, getting into our room. They gave us full refund on the room, literally 10 minutes at the hotel. We rebooked that evening at the Sheraton by the airport. Unfortunately we had to pay for the Uber back and forth. Not ideal. Expedia was great with helping us, but we literally were “cart-fished” by the hotel. Yes it’s 5 minute walk from the walk of fame - but the area around the hotel isn’t very safe. Trip ended up being a success; but thanks to Expedia getting us out of there. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for anyone going to enjoy a trip to LA.

The place was filthy inside and out has a lot of mold and the parking is very tight and too many addict is around the hotel.elevator is dirty people spit inside the elevator and you won’t be able to sleep ver very noisy so air conditioning smells like burnt bugs.

When i think of prostitution, i think of my siblings' children and my former friends and co-workers; they know who they are. The dusk is too good of a hotel for them, thankfully, and i was able to hàve some fun with more respectable company. Everything was enjoyable until "someone" played acey deucie (minus the acey) with the toilet. Let's just say that a miracle happened over night, and moses, my friend a plumber, didn't have to be called. I don't know what i would have done if he would have said "i've found the problem and pulled out a dildo just like they always do in the pornos." I recommend this place to everyone i dont know just to keep the ones i do know away from me (just kidding i just tell them they can stay in the living room so they can be arrested for sleeping in the lobby). Love the hotel, but hate my friends, family, and coworkers for their constant meddling in my life. I wish they were dead.

The location is amazing! Tons of great restaurants in walking distance or a short Uber ride! The rooms are very spacious.. I booked a standard king bed and the water pressure is the better then some Marriott properties where it was double - triple price then here!

I asked for a refund and was denied it after a no sleep due to maintenance working over night moving furniture around the second floor. There’s a lot of illegal movement around there so it is definitely not a family place. You will run into prostitutes and crackheads in parking and hallway areas because they rent those rooms to ANYBODY. There were needles and used condoms along the parking curbs. Hot water takes up to 10’min to run and let just say I reported the motel to OSHA!

The walls were not only damaged but also marred by unidentifiable stains and, alarmingly, what appeared to be fecal matter in certain areas. This level of uncleanliness was not only off-putting but also posed a significant health hazard. Housekeeping Response: Upon contacting housekeeping, their response was lackluster. They seemed neither surprised nor particularly concerned about the condition of the room. Though they offered to clean the room again, the deep-set nature of the dirt and damage seemed beyond a simple cleaning job. Management’s Involvement: I escalated my concerns to the hotel management, expecting a prompt and professional resolution. Unfortunately, the management’s response was equally disappointing. They offered a mere apology and a discount on a future stay, which seemed inadequate given the severity of the issues Overall Experience: The disparity between the hotel’s advertised quality and the reality of the accommodations was stark.
