Nice view and quiet

We changed rooms because the first one was dirty. Hair and dead bugs, stains everywhere. Breakfast was disappointing, only pastries, two cereal choices and waffles. Everything just felt dirty and worn.

Everything was great except checking in I had for the only person that can check us in.

Booked this hotel due to not having air-conditioning after hurricane only to have them not answer. The phones not have anyone at the location and you cannot get a refund in the process of a dispute with my bank due to the fact that Could not stay at the property people be aware Expedia allows you for same-day booking location does not allow you to check in without 24 hr advance notice!!!!

Stayed here 1 year ago and it was great. We had. Booked two nights - left after 1st night. Did not get refund. Property had beer cans in flower beds and around pool. Foyer was dirty. Entire building smelled. Bugs in the room. Carpet turned your feet black. Shower had mold. The “clean” towels had pubic hair in them! Absolutely disgusting and filthy!!’ Sleep Inn owes us a refund.

Beware if you book a room with a big family! This place apparently thinks this is a 5 star hotel or a resort because when booking you must have the number of people that are staying in the room. At least that’s what we were told. We had came to Galveston for a weekend and we came with our friends that were going to camp. Their young daughter and son had gotten in the water and as you all know the water there is not the cleanest. All we wanted was for them to shower in our room, they were not going to sleep there. Lady proceeded to tell us that we were not allowed because she didn’t know how much water they would waste. She also said that she was already making an exception for me, because the booking only said 1 person my husband. So if you book here make sure you have the correct number of people! First time in my life that I book a 2 star hotel that enforced these rules and me and my husband travel a lot. Hotel is also not the nicest and it’s not that close to the beach or interesting places I would skip this place.

No one was there at 4 to check in. Sign on door said no power and we had to find another hotel

I chose to stay here with my daughter and fiancé . While sleeping at 2:30 am a group of men walked into our room. After complaining to the manager he seemed like he didn’t care and was unapologetic. I felt unsafe and left the hotel a short time later and requested a refund for the rest of the nights I reserved. I still haven’t received my refund! There was trash left around the night stand when we first walked in . While checking in he gave me a key to someone else’s room which I happened to walk in on other guess. It was very unprofessional and I will never stay there again.

Terrible

30 min wait to register w reservation in a hotel that maybe had 8 familes staying. Room not used for months as evidenced by rust water coming out of faucet. Sheen of humidity on wood floor, mirror, and window. Felt nasty. Not worth 150 a nite.

When we checked in, we were given the wrong room number and keys and walked in to another occupied room, we went the entire stay with no toilet paper, only 2 towels for 5 people, blood stained sheets, poop in the toilet that had obviously been sitting there, and the employee that checked us in told us we would get a discount, but now the manager is being very rude and not doing anything. Her name is “Di”, I believe. Very unprofessional. On the phone she said “you’re not getting anything out of us” and hung up. If you aren’t prepared to take guests, don’t take them!

Our stay was wonderful. I didn't have any complaints. Definitely will stay again 😃

Breakfast wasn't a real breakfast, check was horrible charged two (fixed later) noisy place to stay.

Room that was assigned to us we got there and the cleaning lady was still cleaning. After long drive, you want to get in your room and they could not change our room. We had to wait.

The overall stay was very enjoyable. Honestly was expecting the room to be as big as it was. The only issues were there wasnt anything in the shower to hold soap (just a shower head and handle), alarm clock did not work. The best breakfast items were the waffles, muffins, cereal and drinks. The danishes seemed a little stale. Most of the staff was wonderful. Very friendly and help.

We had to switch rooms twice due to mold and it ended up being a fema hotel!!

Overall I said it was a good little stay the only thing I didn't understand was after I went through your service to pay for it they still charged me another $80 fee for deposit now I'm saying that it should be back in 1 or 3 days so we'll see how that goes but other than that it was good

Our room was got.... air conditioner not working. Breakfast was not filling. Only waffles, cereal and toast. No eggs no meat. Just over all horrible experience. I will not go back there

Hotel was just ok. Service was not good. There was a bell at the front desk and even when you rang it, it took a while for the guy to come out. But the worst was breakfast. The options were waffles. That’s it. Nothing else. It was awful.

Hotel was what I expected and okay for what we paid. I have stayed here before and will do so again. Staff is very friendly and location is great and near to what I need.

I did a last minute reservation and I didn't read the reviews until after I booked. I was kind of nervous of all the bad reviews. I didn't see any bugs, in overall cleaness is ok, I think they need to deep clean more often. When you enter there is a smell, that's true. My husband said there was a "dog's smell" in one bed, the other one was ok. And definitely the breakfast needs lots of improvements. VERY limited options and watery coffee. For $200 per nights they need to offer more. I wouldn't stay there again.

The staff was very pleasant, friendly and respectful However stayed two nights house keeping did not come not one time The second floor was dirty the hallways never once got vacuumed all three days during my stay there was two dead wood roaches that were in the exact same spot during my whole stay. Our room was not cleaned from the prior guests There was left over stuff left in the fridge Floor was dirty was not vacuumed The dresser was clearly not cleaned either. Absolutely no water pressure Only two bath towels for 4 guest 1 hand towel 2 wash clothes The pillows were a quarter of the size of a normal pillow First day there went to have a family breakfast There was mold on my daughters muffin All there is to eat is waffles toast 2 types of cereal or the old muffins and if do not arrive as soon as breakfast starts good luck eating anything. The smell of the second floor not sure what it was but not very pleasant

There was a huge cockroach as soon as we went into our room

On this night, we were attacked by flying fire ants. They immediately moved us to another room, but I had bites all over my arm. The staff was nice and accommodating, but I hate all kinds of bugs.

Amazing staff but poor condition of hotel. Bleach smell. Stains on the furniture. Dead bugs in the tub. Rust. Stains on the walls and ceilings. Comfort was okay

This is $40-50 property. Hence don’t expect much from the Property. Breakfast is pathetic and does not have much options. The room toiletries are not there, so please carry your own. The staff is very minimal and try to avoid any contact with them, just to avoid one more disappointment
