The rooms need updating. The rooms need better cleaning. Linen was dirty not enough towels. Have to ask the front desk for iron. The outside looks nice but once inside it smells and looks run down.

I wasn't prepared for the no cleaning of the rooms. It was an extended stay (15 days) and they only did cleaning service every 2 weeks. I could exchange my linens by bringing it down to the lobby.

Tv or remote didn’t work, didn’t fix it and never followed up. The kitchenette didn’t have anything at all in it, not even paper towels. No hand towels for the bathroom, needed a real bedspread or a thicker blanket. The worst part was the smell of a cross between pet urine and dog food with something floral trying to cover it. If desperate for a room while traveling through, I might stay one night but highly doubt it

Hotel felt very safe, was clean, and was as advertised. It was just a bit too basic though, with limited amenities and unfortunately the bed was very uncomfortable.

Very clean, comfortable bed and roomy unit. They are pet friendly and units have floor covering that is forgivable if your pet has an unforeseen accident, however, be prepared to pay a $50 nonrefundable fee plus an additional $10 nightly fee...this was not revealed on the Expedia website when I reserved. That makes your your nightly charge different than what you believe you will pay per night. Inspite of this, I will stay there again, knowing I can be comfortable having my dog with me.

Arrival was like entering a county jail on visitor day. Lobby was dirty smelly and cold feeling due to lockdown style doors.. halway carpet was filthy, Room smelled like old food and BO together.
Bed was comfortable and flat pillows were on point.. fyi lots of parking lot noise and homeless..

Clerk was very pleasant and had a very good inviting attitude. Staff members continued to clean and made me feel very safe from germs. Area was very convenient and I love the no smoking policy.

Prefect location away from crowds. Lovely room perfect for an extended stay; although i was only there a few days. Easy access to I-80, food and shopping. Minor issue is the thin walls. My neighbor upstairs had quite the heavy walk every morning at 4:30. Other than that, very comfy and clean.

They were very kind and quick, and no-nonsense. Gave the rules at the beginning, provided expectations, and then let us go.
The room was very comfortable, it was clean and well-kept. The only issue, and it was very minor, was that the water was not hot for a couple minutes in the middle of a shower. But it wasn't a dealbreaker.
I'd stay here again if I ended up in Reno.

The Manager was very prompt in taking care of a noisy outside situation! rooms were very clean. the property is kept up.the laundry room was very clean.the gym was clean also.

This property was clean which was a huge upside on the downside it seemed as though they were minimizing labor as there were no trash cans anywhere on the property except one in the room. There were virtually no amenities.

Room was very small, with no decoration or amenities…no Kleenex, hand towels, etc. Soap was barely usable, so small. Bed and pillows were ok. Many banging doors in hallways. Smell of cleaning chemicals was sickening! All in all a frustrating experience.

I booked this property for family thinking since it was an extended stay hotel that it would have all the amenities of other extended stays. This property is very disappointing…there was nothing in the room. No coffee maker. Not even an ice machine. Their reasoning for the lack of amenities was “they don’t have a way to sanitize anything.” My family did say the beds were comfortable, so I will give them that. Lesson learned…definitely will not be booking a room at this property or any related property again.

Clean, no frills, easy access to shopping and bowling/arcades for the kids. Full size fridge and microwave in room. No breakfast or coffee maker so bring an electric tea kettle to make tea or instant coffee. Hair dryer must borrow from front desk.

Booked a queen room through expedia without kitchen amenities per the booking. Was charged an extra $60 on arrival because it is a "long term stay motel," i guess with kitchen amenities.
False advertising on third party booking sites. That shouldnt cost me an extra $60.

Terrible hotel experience! I do not recommend. The hotel smells and is expensive cheap. They are an extended stay- which I did not realize when I booked online. The Wi-Fi barely works, and we slept horribly both nights during our stay. Walls are extremely thin and there was a child running around all day and night. The hotel manager denied our request to change rooms after the first night. She was very rude to my husband. I believe her name was Dizzy.

Stop over an interstate move. It’s an ok hotel. Does have a Starbucks and Wendy’s within walking distance. For a restaurant you needed to drive.

This was a good property for my stay in Sparks. The hotel is designed for extended stay, so the room has a full size refrigerator, microwave and cook-top. I found the room clean and comfortable for my stay. However, the hotel has no amenities to speak of, such as restaurant. That's not really an deal-breaker issue, as there a few eateries close by.
One negative is the properties flaky internet service. Once you get connected it's fine. It's just jumping through the hoops to get connected that is not so good.
All in all, if I needed to stay in Sparks again I would probably stay there again.
