Terrible, NOT a 4 Star Hotel. A/C broken only fan mode working, no cold air. Phone in room not connected to the wall. So cant call front desk u have to go down. Maintenance never arrived. Paid extra for 3rd person in room, only 1 towel in room. Asked for towels and sheet for couch bed, TWICE but never arrived. Still no phone connected in room. You get charged if you take towel out of room for pool, but NO pool towels available. Went to Reception to get towels again, Was told bring my 1 room towel for 3 guests. No microwave, no mini fridge but u do get a small cooler. Small Holes in curtains, broken wood frame around door, toilet seat smaller than toilet bowl. NO Ice machine in hotel at all! Told to buy ice from restaurant. Very Dirty Bed Frame, DIRTY STAINED PILLOWS. paid $440 Cad for 2 rooms. Never would stay again. BUT rooftop pool is cool, mold stained around pool circumference. My child was playing in the kids pool splashing around, no one else was in the pool or around it, but was told he cant splash because its making the deck around the kids pool wet on one side, which is on a rooftop where it rains and dries from the sun. Made no sense its a kids pool the desk will get wet by wet feet.

Very basic building and poor building. No amenities, limited F&B.

Check-in was alright. Not quite happy with the facilities- they seem old, some ddnt work (AC and balcony door ddnt lock) but its under renovation so understandable but might be worth giving disclaimer in advance when people book to avoid having high expectations. Rooms lacked sound proofing- could hear people talk in the hallway and open their own door and i thought it was mine.

I was skeptical about staying here after reading some reviews but I decided to give it a try and I’m glad I did. One side is still under construction but no big deal. This hotel is new and rooms are big and spacious. My checkin time was at 3pm and I arrived at 1pm. The staff greeted me and checked me in right away. It took less than 5 mins to check in. Room had brand new furnitures, iron and board, vault, refrigerator, tv, coffee maker etc. it had full course breakfast which I enjoyed. Also there is a Chinese restaurant downstairs and McDonalds is right next door. Very convenient location. Highly recommend

Stayed there a few times now and internet is useless an TV never works. Toilet always gets blocked. Cjeaply.made building and inclusions are cheap.

I choose this hotel for business as it stated that it had business internet, internet didn’t work at all. Ive stayed in Fiji alot. The hotel i usually stay at was fully booked, ive never had problems with the wifi Good location Great Asian restaurant downstairs

Property is very dirty, toilet has bad odor, room is dirty so is the lobby and the entire yard. Most everything is dirty. There was a dead fly in salt and pepper holder.

Rooms are nice. Bathroom had a odd smell when we checked in. Wifi was pointless. The rooftop pool always had dirty dishes and empty bottles from the night before. The pool was filthy. Grime around the water line. Had goggles on and noticed the pool wasnt working. Filters had hair stuck in them and alot of unkown things floating around. Never swam in there again. The staff were nice.

It was perfect for me since I travel alone. I think the customer service need to improve a little, specifically front desk. I arrived at 7:00 pm and no one was checking in but me and the reception is empty. The receptionist was in a hurry, without asking if I needed some help with my luggage. I was so tired and was hoping someone to offer a hand. Cleaners was really good. I wasn’t able to get her names, but I love her smile and laughter. Breakfast was okay, but within my 10days stay everyday is almost the same menu, but it was alright. It was a great stay.

Property does not look like what it shows in the pictures. Pool area is nice but the rooms are not well maintained and smell bad.

We booked 2 rooms. One of the room had lizard on wall that terrified my daughter and she couldnt sleep. The air-conditioning was not that cold. We asked for face towels so many times and was given adter 4 hours.Apart from this we enjoyed our stay

Not impressed with the hotel overall. Wifi was shotty, service was slow and rude attendants. We had a medical emergency and staff didn’t know where the wheelchair was. Will not return to this hotel. I stayed at Ramada 2 weeks prior to checking in, it was absolutely amazing and excellent customer service

The brochure must be from when the building was new. Seen better days. That’s false advertising if you ask me. Standards are disappointing.

Was nearby noisy construction, not their fault though.

A bit dirty and smelly in the bathrooms, beds were hard but you pay for what you get.

Had a great family stay. Property is quite dated, however they are in the process of updating rooms. We stayed in a room that wasn’t updated and we got to see a family members room whose was updated! Bathrooms were the same though. As previous comments mentioned there is a smell to do with the plumbing/bathrooms but we could get past it. Stayed for 6 nights. Our room was cleaned by house keeping really well. Breakfast offered was great. There was a mix of hot foods, cereals, fresh fruit, and variety of hot and cold drinks too. Very friendly staff from reception to restaurant & the roof top bar :) Pool is big and there is a kids pool for the littlies, great views from the roof top. It’s next door to McDonalds, Dongsheng restaurant and quick taxi ride to local amenities. Taxi’s are handy outside the hotel or just ask reception to contact one. Overall it’s a great affordable stay, with excellent staff. Just needs updating.

I enjoyed the breakfast I could relate to it but not withstanding Our choice or relatively close to Africans type of food wasn’t considered at all. I believe as the world is evolving there should be more varieties for different cultures considered. Thank you very much we enjoyed our stay.

First night we didn’t get the room we booked for. Upon check in staff advised that they gave our room to someone else because they arrived before us . We booked sunset view king size bed room instead we got mountain view room and first night we had to sleep in 2 single bed room. Next day they shifted us to king bed room but mountain view . TV was not working, there were no towels in the room and we had to call multiple times to get staff to bring towels . Locals stated that the manager of the place didn’t care and his priority is entertain guest from his country china . We checked out day before because we didn’t want to stay any longer and when we asked for refund they said that they have no refund policy . Breakfast was not good as well, not much option to choose from. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. Local staff were nice but the way it is run by Management has careless factor. Never had such bad experience in my life.

Loved the friendliness of the front desk and staff at the front. Overall all friendly and courteous staff. Rooms were very clean and close to all amenities. It has beautiful scenery and close to the shore. One of our favorite was Teva who took care of our laundry and all the requirements of the room. Overall, we had an amazing experience and we will definitely come back to Holiday Inn in Suva.
