I love the ApartHotel and will use it again and will recommend enthusiastically. I did have an odor in the room upon check in and they did move me. Also, they weren’t able to provide a paper copy of my receipt, which I would have preferred to recoup the VaT I paid. Hopefully, they emailed me it - but I still need a paper copy. Other than that, it’s a positively exceptional place.

Nice space for our family to stay while in Edinburgh. Comfortable room, felt safe, very nice staff.

The lady on reception gave us exceptional service ( I cant remember her name sorry, she was young, fair haired and had a southern accent?) introduced us even to the cleaner. The building was beautiful, wonderful artwork and design. The room was so clean and comfortable with everything thought out (for example the black out blinds and next to bed light system). Absolutely wonderful place, I would 100% stay again!

I have enjoyed my stay. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. It’s my first time trying breakfast at Wilde. I am not sure if other locations provide this service. The London and Manchester don’t. It was tasty and the cookies they offered were scrumptious 😋. The location. It’s a walking distance from the old town and many attractions.

Room was nice with small kitchenette. Very clean. Beds comfortable. At the base of Edinburgh Castle so walkable to attractions.

Great convenient location for visiting all the sights in Edinburgh. The property was very functional with a good quality breakfast. All the staff were very helpful and friendly, special mention to Ava going the extra bit to make our stay special.

We arrived at the hotel having prepaid 5 months earlier to be told they had cancelled our booking to which we were entitled to a refund. Not particularly impressed by their actions and we informed them we weren’t moving until they found commensurate alternative accommodation which they finally agreed to but not without the fight first. Bookings obviously got hot and expensive during the fringe and this hotel was keen to seek profits rather than customer service.

What an amazing experience. The location ways great! I would definitely recommend this place.

Staff wete very welcoming and helpful. Room was nicely decorated with a small kitchen efficiency. Excellent breakfast. Great location on a quiet street yet within walking distance of more action.

My husband loved staying at the Wilde. We were here for a week as part of a multi-destination European trip. The location was perfect for us - in the Grass Market area with castle view. The hotel staff were very pleasant and accommodating. The room was very comfortable and spacious for our needs. We will definitely return to the Wilde hotel on our next trip to Edinburgh!

We were assigned a studio with a king bed on the ground floor. The room had poor natural light, and little privacy, as it faced the public walkway. The king bed could only be accessed from one side. After the first night, we changed to a room with twin beds on the first floor, which had good natural light and was a better arrangement to access the beds. Both of the rooms were small. Seemed pricey.

Location, location, location!!

The hotel staff was very kind and helpful. The common grounds are quite nice and so is the gym and laundry area. The room is a bit small, cleaning fees are a bit of a rip off. Breakfast subpar with little egg options.

Great hotel, great location and friendly staff. They didn’t seem to clean your room though. We put the hangar on the door to be cleaned and all they did was take the garbage but did not make beds or leave fresh towels. I thought that was strange.

Everyone was great except for an employee that can ruin your day. We came Down to ask for water to fill in our container before we depart. The lady that was working there said we have to wait until breakfast is over to get water as we did not come down for breakfast. Simply asking for water should not be an issue. This leaves a bad taste on the other employees there that actually does a good job.

The property is plenty nice, very updated, and great location, but in all honesty the staff made our visit the absolute best! The staff were so very friendly, helpful (in particular Beth and Monica!). We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!!

This property was in a great location. We were able to walk to everything and it wasn't too far from the major transportation hubs. Nice stay. Comfortable and clean.

Great stay, the room was comfy and had all the mod cons. Had complimentary prosecco left in the fridge for my wife's birthday and a nice card.

Perfectly clean, lovely apartment on the ground floor. Living room, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom. Room situated on a quiet courtyard. From the living room you can see Edinburgh Castle! Comfortable beds and pillows (including the sofabed). Water and milk available in the fridge. Very spacious apartment. Super convenient to Grassmarket (perhaps obviously; the name), which is an area of shops and restaurants with a broad pedestrian area that once upon a time was reportedly where the royal horses were fed hay, thus the name. We ate dinner at Petit Paris in Grassmarket and then walked up Victoria Street to the Royal Mile. Victoria St is known as "the true Diagon Alley," or the street Diagon Alley (from Harry Potter stories) was based on. There's a shop/museum dedicated to Potterheads (pretty empty in the morning, but later in the day there was a queue). Also an amazing cheese shop on Victoria St, I.J. Mellis. The tiny shop carries cheeses from dairies around Scotland, like from the island Iona, etc. Delicious! Also fresh strawberries in June, so sweet. There's a farmer's market in Grassmarket on Saturdays. I recommend the artists there and the Ethiopian food stand. The staff at the hotel are wonderful. Make sure your room has the requisite wooden cube with a QR code in case you need to contact the front desk. There's also a hotel gym. We would definitely stay here again!

We had an incredibly comfortable stay. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The blackout shade on the window allowed for the most comfortable sleep, especially when recovering from jet lag. Absolutely would stay here again.

Great location, only a few minutes from the Castle and local market if you visit during weekends. Lovely people during the stay and very convenient checkin and checkout process.

Super comfortable and spacious. Modern vibe throughout. The laundry service was affordable and convenient. And the lounge area was especially enjoyable. Really enjoyed the “aparthotel” concept. Would definitely book again.
