Great location for enjoying downtown.

Good staff.

On our way to the festival we were going to be attending in Greensboro this weekend, we had a medical emergency. While in the hospital, I contacted the hotel to let them know we were going to have to cancel the reservation. Understanding it was too late to cancel for that night, I was hoping to cancel the next night and get a refund. I was told because we had booked through Expedia, we needed to contact them. It was not until well after midnight that I was able to contact Expedia. They opened a ticket. I have just been informed there will be no credits coming our way. Thank you so much Hampton Inn for making a difficult situation so much worse.

Overall, it was a great stay. Jalisa was very friendly and even took it upon herself to put us in a room on the third floor that was on the same floor as the parking deck so we didn't have to use the elevators. The size and cleanliness of the room were more than what we expected. We will be staying here again in a couple of weeks.

Not enough parking

Great location!! Hotel was clean and well maintained. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The air conditioning was not working properly. Would not cool down. Called front desk around midnight 4 times to ask if they had fans and no one answered. We went down to the lobby and there was someone at the desk but they did not answer the phone when we had just called.

Excellent

I'm annoyed that I was double charged for the room on the first night and though the staff fixed it, I was again overcharged for the rest of the stay. I was told when I booked that I'd be charged a $50 fee for incidentals that would be refunded within 2 business days after checkout. Well, they charged me more after checkout for no reason! I won't be back.

Our second time staying here and we’ll be back! Brought our dog this time and it was a breeze.

Noisy from the freight trains blowing their horn approaching one or two crossings near hotel. They go by and blow all night long. We were on the side of the hotel facing the tracks. Perhaps the opposite side would be quieter.

It was a good stay

Absolutely loved staying here. Definitely will stay here again and would recommend.

My room had a window that was level with the parking deck and I did not feel safe being a single woman that easily accessible

Went to check in at 6pm, I was told room wasn’t ready yet which is weird because normal check in is 3pm. Staff called house keeping and they found a room for me. When we went to the room, it wasn’t really clean. The sink was dirty which looked like vomit or something. Also there wasn’t a TV remote.

Good stay. Nothing special.

Bed was nice. Single king bedroom is a nice size and lovely decor. Breakfast was lacking. No computers for guests…

We will stay here every time we visit Greensboro!

This is my second stay at this property. The pool was great for my kids to enjoy and it’s very conveniently located and walkable to downtown. There were trains going by but once we fell asleep we didn’t hear them.

Well situated to downtown

The first room I received was dirty. As in they assigned me a room that had not been cleaned yet. Sixth floor hallway smelled like pet oder. Their is a railroad track next to the hotel. Super loud! Ran out of breakfast food for long periods of time both mornings.

We were at a dance competition at the Carolina Theater - so it was the perfect location. No in room safes - they do have safe deposit boxes at front desk - but didn't use them. they only clean the rooms every other day - I like my room cleaned every day we pay a lot for these rooms at $250 a night (I know its since Covid) walking to many resturants and coffee shops. Lobby nice - request anything like an extra pillow or blanket in evening they will tell you housekeeping is gone and they will try but they never do. Towels were always available. I would stay here again for the connivence to the theater.

The best Hampton Inn we’ve ever stayed on and there have been many. Everything that 3 generations of family could have wanted. The property is beautiful and clean and comfortable, staff is super helpful, proximity to good restaurants walking distance.

Clean

The hotel is three minutes from the university. Front desk clerk was very friendly, room was nice, breakfast was delicious and they had grab and go energy bags if you don't have time to eat breakfast, good movies on tv, ear plugs in the room for the train because the train track is close to the hotel(we didn't need them). Overall great stay. We will definitely stay there again.

Only recommendation is to have proper glasses instead of plastic for wine.
