giraffe hotel was recommended by a friend so we decided to stay there for one night because we were in town for a wedding. The curtains had stains, the floors hadn’t been cleaned and the toilet was leaking. The refrigerator didn’t work and the man came up to fix it, but did, not cool the entire night. When we came back from the wedding, there was a wedding at the hotel and the music was so loud. We were up until 2:30 in the morning.
The swimming pool looks lovely and the grounds are beautiful, but the rooms are substandard.

A great resort .. from Houston, Texas visiting My fiance in Da es salaam and spent good 4 nights at Giraffe Beach Hotel. Staffs are great and food was great and good breakfast. Will surely spread the words when I get back to USA. Da es salaam has great spot like this for anyone travelling to TZ. Love everything about the beach hotel. Wonderful hospitality.

Great beach hotel with beautiful garden.
Beds are amazingly comfortable.
Service really good and efficient.Safe has been fixed within couple of minutes.
We had a dinner in the restaurant and food was very good.
Breakfast could have with a bit more options but was ok.Coffee very tasty and that was the most important to me.
Hotel is on the beach which is been taken care of but when you step a couple of meters away the beach is full of rubbish.But I understand it is a common problem in that part of the world,and hotel manager can not do anything about it.
Generally experience was really great,good value for money.

It's a Boutique Hotel to me, it's decorated beautifully, however the Hotel staff is what makes it unique, everyone is genuinely happy to see you daily & want to make sure you enjoy your stay.
