We enjoyed our stay friendly staff,close too London bridge

Room needed a little maintenance. Bed had a hole in the springs, had to turn around to sleep on. Paint was chipped, missing fixture in bathroom.
It was annoying that we had the ground floor suite that exits right on the the patio for the pub. You get people smoking and drinking right outside your room.

A gem of a place, with clean, comfortable rooms just half a mile from Tower Bridge. Staff were very friendly and helpful

The inn has a good location: close to subway, many pubs and restaurants, 20 min walk to Tower bridge, in a quiet residential area. The bed is great: big and comfortable.
The staff is not friendly. The pub of the Inn is not cosy, smelled like toilet with some weird people visiting (drinking vodka). I went to the one 4 min walk from the inn and loved it a lot more.
The cleanliness of the room is not great: I had a candy package inside the radiator, hair in the bathroom, the porridge pack was open and there were ants on the cupboard where it was.
Although the bathroom is very modern, the fact that you need to hold the shower and can't fix it is bad. The water gets all over the bathroom and it's not convenient.
But worst of all - I came in the room at 10pm hoping to get some rest, but the music from the pub was EXTREMELY loud. You have a feeling of siting inside the pub and cannot enjoy TV or conversation. I asked when the pub closes and the receptionist said 10, but the music was on until past 11.
I read the reviews of people staying in King room that the sound is manageable, but in the Family room (facing the other side) it is not! General sound insulation is bad: you hear people walking around the rooms, I had a ventilation by the window which was also making sound all night long. I am totally not a light sleeper, but I was waking up from noise all night long.

What a lovely little guesthouse. Separate entrance to the pub so you can come and go as you please. The room was just lovely with all the essentials provided (bottles water, tea, coffee, breakfast bars ect…) the pub was really friendly, welcoming atmosphere.

Easy self check in and check out service. It a walking distance from the subway and buses. No lobby, the bartender into the pub (bar) gave us the keys and show us the entrance located on the back of Docker in.

Beautiful room, with a really lovely little outside deck connected to our room.
Only issue was there was no stand up shower and one of the pillows was dirty.
Other than that it was amazing, little porridge pots for breakfast with orange juice and water, coffee, tea, hot chocolate.
There was a hair dryer and shampoo, conditioner and shower gel.

The only problem with staying here was very loud music downstairs in the pub on Friday and Saturday nights. The room was small but kept very clean. We appreciated the coffee and snacks provided by the host

Lovely place to stay. Staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Accommodation was very nicely decorated, modern and clean. It would have been nice if there was a chair in the room, as the only place to sit was the bed or the sofa bed, which was situated under the television. The sofa bed, although comfy to sit on, wasn't very comfortable to sleep on as there was a ridge once the back had folded down. There also wasn't any bed linen, such as a sheet, to put on the sofa bed. Duvet and pillow were provided.
Food in the inn was excellent, with a great choice on the menu and reasonably priced.

Dockers inn was terrific for 3. We had a king bed and futon couch that were comfortable to sleep in. I don t like the beds too soft and these were firm. Our room also has an outdoor private balcony. Nearby are a cafe for breakfast/ coffee and convenience store for other food stuffs . The room had kettle and coffee tea and cookies. As well dockers gives a discount on meals for people staying at the inn. They have a great menu. The transit is also nearby. ( Just east of London s bridge) On Saturday there is live music so don t forget ear plugs if a light sleeper .

Lovely place to stay for a couple of nights. Nice pub and good area, close to overground line. We stayed in room 9 which was very spacious, clean and comfortable.

The staff are very helpful and nice. I would definitely stay again. The only draw back was that is was a little warm. Would have been nice to have a fan. Thank you so much Donker's Inn. Hope i can return some day.

We came down to London for a play at the Globe. We found this hotel great as its about 2-3 minutes to the tubes. We had a lovely walk by the Thames up to the millennium bridge. You can just take the tubes and get anywhere very quickly. Shame the tickets are so expensive.
The hotel itself is a hotel by the pub in a quiet and clean area. Very helpful and friendly staff. I recommend to ring as they dont email back. I sent a few emails but never received any response. The room we stopped in was number 6 which was at the highest level and we never heard the noised from the pub. I would recommend booking the rooms upstairs for a quiet night.
I love the addition of the snacks and drinks in the room. There was a kettle with tea and coffee which is great. The room was small but clean, modern and comfortable with a lovely bathroom. In fact i wish this was my bathroom in my house lol. The little fan saved the night as it was really hot outside so this was a nice addition as there's no air con.
For the price per night and the access to the tubes i would really recommend this hotel. We will definitely come down again. Thank you :)

We had a very nice stay, only thing is that the family room we had was not suited for a family with two kids ager 12+14. The sleeping sofa was way too small for any of them

Very nice location in a quiet neighborhood, steps away from the overground station. The personel was nice. We were welcomed by some food items that were much appreciated. There are limited numbers of places to eat in the area, but they are nice and sufficient numbers for a short stay. On the downside, the room was relatively small, poorly noise-insulated and on the top floor a brick wall 50 cm from the windows blocks the view. And four hangers in all may not be enough for most couples to hang their clothes.

Stayed 1 night. Excellent room with tea/ coffee plus a surprise porridge breakfast, water and peanut bars. Room was very clean everything was well looked after. Staff were very good. Highly recommend staying here.

The rooms are very stylish and very well fitted. Extremely comfortable bed and made for a good nights rest. The pub is also well worth a visit, even if you’re not staying the night.

The pub was friendly, lively and served good food. The rooms were very well presented, clean and fresh and felt secure. Outside was a bit noisy but expected that on a Saturday night above a pub. Would happily stay there again.

Amazing friendly staff, the owner even gave us a lift to the nearest tube as the overground was on strike the day of departure…you don’t get that level of service from the Premier Inn. The room was immaculate!!!

We stayed here for an event at the O2 as it was the cheapest, decent option we could find. It was very conveniently located for the O2 Arena. Pub closed at 1am but was very tame even though it was Saturday night and the area generally was quiet for London, with no noise issues.Accommodation is new and modern throughout. Room was on the small side but big enough for one night. Bed was comfortable with good bedding. Breakfast items were provided which was unexpected. Some minor issues prevent this being a perfect stay: 1) The breakfast items include 2 orange juices, one of which was already opened and a small sip taken, so was a little concerned on hygiene. 2) Some other cleanliness issues, e.g. hairs in the bathroom drawers. 3) There was a green light which had obviously annoyed another guest, so they'd stuck an 'Oat So Simple' porridge lid over it. Initially thought I was seeing things when I saw a foil porridge lid on the ceiling!! 4) There seemed to be some sort of water drainage issue as the carpet directly outside the bathroom was constantly damp, felt like it was under the carpet. They should get this looked at before it becomes a bigger issue.Overall, I would consider staying here again if options were limited but wouldn't seek it out specifically.
