We enjoyed our stay, the home is super well stocked, easy to make family meals and our young families particularly loved the outdoor space. It was close to everything we wanted to take the children too. Great stay. Thank you.

This is an absolutely beautiful property!! Well kept, and even decorated for the season!! The information as to how to use everything was excellent, and the kitchen was the best equipped that I have every had the luxury to use away from home. The pool and the hot tub were excellent!! The yard was a private resort, and very pet friendly!! Sunset was an activity every evening!! And the Firepit was excellent in the chilly evening? This was a very pleasant experience!! Our group thoroughly enjoyed the property with something for everyone. The backyard has been designed with every detail considered and we enjoyed the pool, spa, slide, trampoline, basketball hoop, etc. We planned for a couple days to just hang out at the house and those were some of the best days of our vacation! As others mentioned, Quinn was very responsive with any questions we had. This is a great find!

Amazing vacation spot for all ages! There are simply no words for this wonderful paradise! It was very relaxing for a senior citizens and the grandchildren had a ball in the backyard! The kitchen was very well stocked and it’s the little things that count. Ample supply of toilet paper, paper towels, dishwashing detergent, please and laundry detergent. We loved all the outdoor plates so we could relax outside with our meals. Mr. Smith was prompt in responding if I had any questions. Now let’s address the elephant in the room. I know the price is a little steep but it is certainly well worth it. From here we are going to a Long Beach hotel where two rooms will cost $700 a night and will be cramped for in a room . Imagine what we had this last week a whole pool to our self a whole spa to ourselves everybody had their own bed and bedroom. It was glorious. It was well worth the price! We are already planning to come back next year!

This property was even better than described, which is almost impossible! The house was well laid out and had all the amenities you could want. The owner was super friendly and quick to respond to any questions. The highlight is the spectacular backyard oasis with pool, slide, hot tub, basketball goal. trampoline, and a bunny to play with! My family of 6 spent most of our time in the backyard and shared it with family who live in San Diego. My brother-in-law said "Michelle, you have outdone yourself this time!" So, I will say that to the Smith family, you have outdone yourselves creating this wonderful vacation home.

Lovely property. Had everything we needed to enjoy time together at the house or take our adventure to the beach. Perfect for entertaining within our group. Plenty of spots for individuals to enjoy alone time as well. Close to restaurants and all San Diego has to offer. In the hills closer to the highway than the beach so required driving to get anywhere, but we knew that going in.

We enjoyed everything in this house! My kids (all under 7) loved warm pool, slide and yard. My parents loved hot tub and relaxing environment. Location was perfect, close to everything that we needed including grocery stores, restaurants, Sea World! Quinn was very quick responding any questions and issue; we couldn't figure out how to use new microwave (very fancy one!) so he dropped off brand new one right away. It was very relaxing/fun vacation thanks to Quinn. We will definitely come back! Thank you very much.

We loved the property, it was everything we were looking for and more. The pool and hot tub were hits with my son. The slide is awesome. Ultimately this is a relaxing spot with great views and access to everything. Quinn took care of us and we look forward to starting here again.

This was the best property we have ever stayed at hands down. If you’re looking around, this is the one! Property owners were very thoughtful - lots of small generous touches - and there was not a thing that wasn’t perfect. Backyard pool and hot tub plus basketball net and trampoline and hammock …all with views! We definitely hope to return again. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with our group.

This house was lovely. The weather was not good. Cold and rainy nearly every day.

Our family frequently rents different properties while on vacation and this was one of our favorites! Nothing was lacking. The description didn’t do the place justice. Our kids (ages 7, 9, 11) barely wanted to explore San Diego because the house alone was so much fun! We can’t thank the Smith family enough. Everything was perfect and they made the stay very easy! Overall a great place. We will consider renting again. I wish a few things were described better prior to renting. It should be disclosed that the pool is very deep and has very little room for young kids with out swimming skills to play. It would also be helpful to note that the owners of the house have cats and despite the home being very clean and appropriate, the smell of cats is noticeable, especially in the garage.. Overall, we had a wonderful 6 days. The home allows for easy access to the various parks and beaches. .

Don't think twice, just book it!! This home is a hidden gem nestled up on a hill in San Diego's Pacific Beach area overlooking the ocean & just a short ride away to downtown. Quinn was very friendly, responsive & accommodating. The backyard is an absolute dream & the pool was the highlight! We already can't wait to book this beautiful home again soon. :)

Everything was just as expected and more. My kids loved the back yard and pool slide. Would definitely rent again.

We just spent the entire week with a family of 9 ages 6-68 and we couldn’t have found a better vacation home. This house was amazing! It was even better than the photos if you can imagine. The backyard was a private resort with a heated pool, slide, hot tub, fire pit, lounge chairs, basketball hoop and a trampoline. It’s a kids dream come true. The house itself was gorgeous, sparkling clean, decorated beautifully and plenty of room. The beds were so comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, pots, pans, utensils, plates, bowls, coffee makers and Quinn provided k cup coffees plus seasoning and condiments. The location was perfect, close to everything and in a nice quiet neighborhood. From the house, we had views of the bay, ocean and the nightly sea world fireworks. Quinn was wonderful, any time I messaged him, he replied immediately and was very helpful. Access to the house was easy, Quinn provided a code so we didn’t have to use a key. We can’t wait to return, this was the best vacation for our family.

I cannot recommend this property enough. It was the perfect house for our family of 9 and is exactly as shown in the online photos. Our 3 grand kid’s loved the pool, spa and water slide. The house is very centrally located - about 20 - 30 minutes to every place we wanted to visit. Everything was extremely clean and more than enough dishes, glasses, kitchen ware etc. We ate outside for every meal and enjoyed sitting around the fire pit in the evenings. We hope to return next year.

The house feels very spacious. It’s equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The backyard is amazing and that’s were we spent most of our time. Lots of places to relax and recharge.

This home was fabulous! It looked exactly like the pictures. The backyard was truly “Paradise”, as my 6 year old described it. Beautiful and also so much for kids to do. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. The beds were comfortable, the location was perfect for visits to the Zoo, Sea World and the beach. Quinn was above and beyond accommodating. I would highly recommended this home to anyone. We will be returning!

This home is simply amazing! Superbly styled with every convenience. We enjoyed every single part of our stay. Our 2 related families of 4 had an easy time staying safe outside for meals, games and hanging out. I can’t rave about the backyard enough! We cook a lot and could also move around each other easily in the kitchen. Quinn responded quickly and warmly to every query. We WILL be back!

Everything was perfect.. from using a numbered keypad lock, to a great pool and ktichen, to all details exaxlty as negotiated with teh owner. I highly recomend this property.

This house is amazing...has all the amenities you could possibly need. Well stocked kitchen...plenty of linens and towels. Spacious living areas both inside and out...feels like your at a resort when you step out back. Beautiful spa hot tub overlooking the pool and water slide...an area on top you can sit and relax and enjoy the view of the ocean!! There is also a front deck with fire pit you can sit and watch the fireworks from Sea World every night. Owners left a binder with directions on how to operate everything in the house...and things to do while visiting the area...This house definitely exceeded our expectations....Hope to come back next year....

We stayed at this house the week of July 20. We had a fabulous time!! We had 4 adults and 3 children, and there was plenty of room. The pictures of the pool and yard do not do it justice; they were great!! For kids and adults. The kitchen was stalked well with everything you need. Quinn was easily available if we had any questions. We hope to stay here again...

The kids LOVED the home and want to return! The outside space is incredible. The views of the ocean were an extra bonus.

It's so rare to feel like your vacation expectations were not only met but exceeded! First, the location is so convenient to San Diego attractions. This is an amazing house for families with small children. It has a great layout, beautiful furnishings, a kitchen that has EVERYTHING you need (even for a large group), plenty of toys for little kiddos, and of course, an unbelievable pool with a waterpark caliber slide that was the highlight for both the 6 and 65 year olds in our family. The owners are so kind and genuinely want you to have a great experience. Our families gather for a vacation every other summer and we are already questioning how we will ever find a home as nice as this one. So, I guess we just come back to San Diego!!!

The property was average for the area. There were a lot worse, but there were a lot better. It was geared for convenience and families with small children and pets. We didn't realize it was not geared up as much for adults as we thought. The owner had people come and maintain the property, and I'm guessing he didn't realize how little time they actually spent doing things there to "maintain" the place. Personally, I would try to hire people that actually spent more time and did a better job. When we arrived there, it was the day after "garbage pick up day" and the garbages (3 large cans) were overflowing with trash and we had no where to deposit ours. Furthermore, there were nightly visitors from skunks rummaging through the garbage. Out of concern of stench infestation, I phoned the owner who came and partially emptied some dumpsters so we could get rid of our trash. The owners had a scrapbook with directions on how the property was maintained and guest expectations, but apparently people didn't read it. We also found other visitors old and dirty laundry in the chest of drawers in the master bedroom, so it made us question the role of the housekeeper they hired as well. The kitchen was a little difficult to navigate and had mostly outdoor dishes and dishes and flatware for very young children. It seemed as if the house was stocked with mismatched odds and ends. Perhaps we had higher expectations than some, but for the price we paid, we felt our expectations were warranted. We had contemplated staying at a couple other properties in the area for a slightly higher price, but were convinced the hottub and views were more worth it. On the brighter side, the hottub was wonderful, and we're glad it was heated as it was cold in La Jolla while we were there for their notorious "June Gloom" season. The home was simple to have indoor/outdoor access. The views were beautiful, and the location was convenient to get to just about anywhere else in La Jolla and San Diego. Unless I had young children in tow, I think I'd look for a more adult geared rental the next time. All in all, we made good times happen, and at least the owner was accessible when we had a problem with the trash.

My friends and family stayed here to celebrate my 30th birthday and we couldn't have asked for anything better!!! The house is located in an ideal location with gorgeous views. The backyard offers privacy and seclusion with all the amenities you could want: pool, hot tub, slide, hammock, lounge chairs, table, grill, pool equipment, shade.....the inside is very roomy which makes it inviting for everyone. The kitchen was fully stocked and ready to prep meals for 20+ people! Quinn and Tara were available at a moments notice all weekend to answer various questions, which was wonderful. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone-- if you're looking for a romantic getaway, a family vacation home or a vacation for friends, this house caters to it all!! No regrets at all and can't think of what could have made things better!

Came to San Diego for a spring break getaway with our daughters, ages 6 and 2. The house, pool, and location were even better than described! Our family had a blast swimming each day in the heated pool and enjoyed the evenings in the hot tub. House is just minutes away from all San Diego has to offer...highways close by made getting around a breeze. Hope to come back soon and wouldn't stay anywhere else!
