Quirky cute and cozy cottage just 50ft from the water. Hot tub and hammocks are a delight. Trailhead to the marsh area is right by the cottage. Plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, and pubs(The Olde Ale House is great). The cottage is not set up for cooking; it is set up for personal indulgence!!

Super cozy place! The host was amazing, gave us recommendations for outings and fixed an issue we had quickly! I highly recommend as a couples get away leave the phones at home and go enjoy the coast.

The cottage was cozy and clean and located just right for watching the sunset and calm waters. We enjoyed the outdoor firepit and were able to make many day trips from the location. Shelene was a fabulous host!

This was the most peaceful weekend at the Cottage. There is so much attention to detail, so many beautiful things to look at. The hosts were great! We will definitely be coming back. A+++

Very Romantic getaway cottage and Shelene was a great host! No TV was the only downside.

Grounds outside were unkept and needed, serious addressing. The dwelling inside- the uncomfortable couch was stained and covered to hide the stains by use of an unsightly couch cover which we removed. There was an excessive amount of knickknacks in the house which made the place cramped, overdone and extremely uncomfortable.

We spent our 42nd wedding anniversary in this awesome boathouse. It was a special 3 days of just relaxing. It was a little chilly so we enjoyed the firepit on the deck and the fireplace inside as well. The bay views are amazing from either inside our out. The space is bigger than it looks and you can tell that lots of love and energy went into making it comfortable. Definitely left refueled and relaxed and wishing we could stay longer. Not many places that have as much to offer as this home are priced so reasonably. A huge value. Many awesome restaurants close by and easy access to Morro Bay and the beautiful little otters who live there. The host picked us delicious apples from the tree outside and sent us home with a bouquet of flowers.

Cottage by the sea, very enchanting and comfy accommodations. Peaceful and beautiful location, loved the hot tub and fire pit for the cool evenings. Close location to so many great central coast spots, easy day trips or just relax and enjoy the cottage and surrounding scenery.

We enjoyed our stay and appreciated the efforts that Shelene and Chris made to make us feel comfortable. The boat house had a lot of nice touches and was extremely clean and functional. The location was great and we hope to visit again. Thank you for making our stay a memorable one!

The quiet location awesome #1 The antique decor and the effort it took to turn a boathouse into a house was beyond anything I’ve ever seen.

Lovely host, Shalene has put so many fantastic touches into this special lovely unique boathouse. It was cozy, but we never felt cramped (my husband is 6’5, and there are lofted ceilings throughout). Though adjacent to the hosts home, it is situated and incredibly private. Great water pressure, hot tub is wonderful, and she was very accommodating letting me bring our own cooler and skillet for my special food program. A lovely, relaxing adorable way to enjoy the central coast. Excellent host!

It was a magical place. We were celebrating my husband’s birthday a little early. He enjoyed exploring the many places our host recommended.

Nature lovers paradise! We so enjoyed our stay at the Dream Cottage! Nature hikes are closeby, breathtaking views from the property (bring your binoculars for great bird watching) and a whimsical surroundings. The cottage was super comfy and has wonderful views of the bay. The host (Shelene) was the best - helpful when we needed her and so knowledgeable and proud of her precious retreat. Have fun!

Great little cottage, perfect for one or two people. Nice personal touches, such as kitchen necessities, cozy nooks, and comfy bed. The yard is amazing with multiple places to relax and hangout both day and night, especially with all the fun lights and hot tub. Everything was clean and the host was very generous and easy going. We loved our stay and will definitely be back!

This VRBO is in my overall top 5 and I've been to many! I loved the bay front location, views and yard space. The cottage is very cute with antique and beachy decor. Our on site host was very welcoming and helpful with suggestions for places to see and restaurants to visit. This was an excellent place to stay for exploring the entire area. We loved seeing the coastal towns during the day and returning in the late afternoon to the lovely, peaceful cottage to relax in the yard or on the deck to watch the sunset and listen to the birds.

This was an amazing stay. It started at check in with a quick property tour. The house and area smelled like fresh flowers the whole time. Beautiful views all day and even better at sunset. Close to Morro Bay for an easy drive for meals or just a beach day. No TV in the house so we brought our own w/ a Fire Stick. We will definitely stay again soon!!

We knew when we booked that California in March is risky, but that's when we could get away. Having to hunker down for two different atmospheric river storms was actually kind of fun in Chris and Shelene's slice of paradise. We loaded up the frig with snacks and watched the eucalyptus trees sway in the wind as the squalls blew in. Between storms, we and our pup enjoyed the dog beach north of town and many different restaurants in Los Osos and Morro Bay. We even got to the Los Osos farmers market in the sunshine. Shelene brought us warm fresh bathrobes and extra towels as it was quite wet. We also loved walking around the little peninsula and watching the birds come and go with the tides. So relaxing and peaceful. Hopefully next time the weather will be better, but if not, we will be perfectly content reading books in front of the electric fireplace. Bravo!

We were met with a golden smile and showed us the many extra ordinary aspects of the property to include a highly functional hot tub. The pictures in Vrbo are real and do some Justice but once on the property you fall into a trance. The house is full of charm and her decor is fun to see and utilize. We are small in size so the house fit us. ❤️ Yes the bed is as reviewed which gave us a great sleep. We woke up to a rainbow that lasted for over an hour. We walked to the local park called Sweet Springs which borders the north shore of Morro bay. Took in Elfin Pygmy forest which is a must and biked E-to Morro Embarkadero for breakfast. It’s not will we return but how soon can we get back.

The view is great, but this cottage was not what we expected based on the listing. While the bed is very nice, the cottage lacked any shelves or tables (other than a very small one by the couch that easily tipped over).There was no place to put our belongings except on the floor and the one luggage rack. We had to stack the 15-20 pillows from the bed and sofa on the floor or in the bay view windows - which then blocked the bay view. The bay view windows were chest height so you had to stand up to see the view. We were surprised that the bay around this peninsula becomes mud when it's low tide during the day when we stayed there. Thus, we were unable to use the kayaks that were included in the VRBO listing. We did enjoy our walks along the peninsula and nearby parks and reserves and had great meals at Dorn's in nearby Morro Bay. The owner, Shelene, was very welcoming and we could see that she and her husband had worked hard to convert this boat house to a cottage.

We had a great time weather was not the best. We felt very relaxed in the little cottage. Property manager was also great and helpful with any questions we had. would definitely stay again.

My husband and I love Baywood Park and we have been vacationing here for about 17 years. We love it so much we were married there! We had the most amazing time at the Dream Cottage! The cottage is cute and cozy, with all the amenities you could need. The bed was unbelievably comfortable! Best sleep I’ve had in ages! The area is so beautiful and peaceful and the property has tons of little sitting areas to sit and soak it all in. The only tiny issues was the water in the hot tub was cold, I sent a text message letting them know and I immediately got a response back and Shelene and Chris sprung into action! We were soaking in the HOT hot tub and enjoying the amazing view within a couple of hours. Beautiful location, friendly and helpful hosts!! We will definitely be staying again!

This cottage is adorable and cozy, provided with just the right amenities that will make your soul happy. Loved making morning coffee and watching the birds and kayakers on the water from the bay window. It’s quiet, nourishing, and has beautiful scenery all around.
