We had a wonderful time staying at Arrow Head Lodge! We are a big group, 10 adults and 7 children but the location of this house and the space it offered made it a truly wonderful experience. We enjoyed the short car ride to the mountain for skiing as well as the close proximity to town. We would definitely stay here again!

House was wonderful!

The house was in a great location only being 1 mile from town. We had four families and plenty of room to spread out. We enjoyed the hot tub especially when it was lightly snowing out. Very relaxing!! Ann and Mea always do a fabulous job.

We opted for the week before Christmas because the house was available. It had all the amenities we could ask for and then some!!! So thankful to have had the opportunity to stay and hope to return again to LP next year!!!

Our family had a wonderful time and the house was perfect. Everything you could need is available to enjoy an ADK vacation with family. Highly recommend and would stay again.

Large cozy home with many rooms and large family areas. Easy to get to any venues by car in Lake Placid or Seneca Lake. We had meals prepared from nearby restaurants. Played our own Olympic games and used fire pit for samores. Walked around mirror lake, and and played at the beach. Main street is great for shopping.

There were 18 of us (16 adults and 2 children). The house was perfect for us, even with the rainy weather. We did enjoy some hiking, a trip to the Wild Center and an especially wonderful time at the Carousel in Saranac Lake. Everyone had plenty of space and we especially enjoyed all being together on the main floor for meals and activities.

We had our second year here for Memorial Day weekend, and loved every moment! Ann was the perfect host and was there to check us in and answer any questions. The house is huge and lovely and clean, and had everything we needed to manage a large family of 16. Would highly recommend! Also super close to the main drag of town, even walkable!

Perfect if you are going to a Lake Placid tournament with a group! Close, clean, and spacious!

18 of us had a blast at Arrowhead Lodge! The house was big enough for all of us and very well appointed! Management was swift with any questions. We will be back!

I booked this house for my wedding weekend for myself, my spouse and our close relatives to all stay together. The property was perfect for our group of 14 with extra space and beds to spare. The house was spotless upon arrival and Ann was so nice and generous during our walk through with her. She explained every detail that we needed to know during our stay. This house has all the amenities for a next level getaway-hot tub, ping pong, massive TVs, fire pit - you name it this property has it. The kitchen was spacious and had everything we needed. All 14 of us fit around the table to eat together which was so nice. The property was a short drive from town (about 1 mile) which made it really easy to go into town for shopping while still having a feeling of solitude and being off the beaten path. So glad we chose this property for our wedding weekend and highly highly recommend!!

This home is beautiful, has everything you need, and is ginormous!!! Let’s be honest, we all have that one person in our family or friend group that you just need a break from during a trip (ours is a guy named Dave), with this place you could go days without seeing him, it’s that big. The hot tub not only worked, but was so clean you could have made soup it in and not been hesitant to eat it (just to be clear we didn’t do that, but we did think about it). Owner was super friendly and responsive! We will definitely be back!!

Great home, responsive owner. A barking dog was at times annoying. A few windows had broken mechanisms. A few missing light bulbs. Lower rack on dishwasher wS missing a few wheels Damage deposit refund took too long !

Our group of 18 had a wonderful stay. The house had more than enough space for our large group with anything that you might need including cooking utensils, bath towels and towels for the hot tub. The hot tub is drained and cleaned in between each guest and the house was very clean. Ann, the owner and property manager, was wonderful to work with and very sweet. She takes a lot of pride in her house and your stay. The only things different than the description was that it's not really within walking distance to town and that there are no longer bunk beds in two of the bedrooms. One bedroom has 4 twin beds and the other bedroom has a sofa with a pullout couch. Still plenty of space for everyone and would definitely stay again at this home or another home that they own!

We had a wonderful stay at Arrowhead Lodge. There were 17 of us staying for a 50th anniversary celebration. The pictures don’t do the living/dining/kitchen area justice. The space big enough for a large group to move around, play games and eat comfortably. The close proximity to everything lake placid has to offer is amazing as well. It was less than 5 minutes to get to kayak rentals and a short drive to Whiteface Mountain. We would highly recommend arrowhead lodge!

We had an amazing long weekend at this property which had plenty of room for our large group of 18. Private space for part of our group that had an infant and plenty of space for adults to hang out together. Ann was so helpful with all our questions and concerns. Truly a beautiful property in an upscale community and only a few miles from downtown. Thanks again!

This rental was incredible. It was very clean and had plenty of room for our 17 guests. Big spacious kitchen that was wonderful for our private chef made dinner and a large family room for hanging out. One thing: it is NOT within walking distance to town. It’s about a mile up a country road. Overall though we would stay here again in a heartbeat. Landlord was very nice and accommodating.

Our family enjoyed a nice extended weekend getaway. Everything was exactly as promised and expected. Entire house is clean and all living spaces have what you need (Kitchen, Living, Bathrooms, Bedrooms). Great location...very close to town (2 mins), but in a nice secluded neighborhood! Our party of 8 had a wonderful time staying here, and it was the perfect setup for us. It was more than enough room for us with endless places to hang out and enjoy. The kids loved playing games and watching TV in the basement, as well as playing pool and ping pong in the heated garage. The separate apartment above the garage looks great however we didn't need to use it. The living room is beautiful with plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy the fire. The hot tub worked great and was really fun to use during a snowy cold Winter storm. And the floors, they are radiant heated! You will be walking on nice warm floors during your stay! The location can't be beat, being just minutes away from town and all the activates that Lake Placid has to offer! Plenty of space to park in the flat driveway and a nice firepit in the back yard that we unfortunately didn't get a chance to enjoy. Thanks to Ann for being a wonderful host! We will definitely be back!

We've been traveling years with 1-2 families and always use VRBO. We struggle to find the right place - sometimes the bed layout doesn't work, often there is enough beds but not enough sitting space (my biggest pet peeve). This house has it all. It is incredibly well laid out - including 3 master suites. The other rooms are a great size..and even the room with 4 twin beds has a lot of space. There are two comfy living areas for some separation from the kids and plenty of games and activities. We did not want for anything. We've stayed in another one of Anne and Mea's properties and we have similarly great things to say about it - Anne and Mea really do know how to do it right. The pictures are very accurate (except the one room with bunks -that is now 4 twin beds - which worked out perfect for us). The house is SUPER close to town, groceries and everything you need but nestled into a great little area making you feel like you are away from it all.

Pictures don’t do this property justice! Beautiful house, plenty of space for groups, everything you could want/need, centrally located. Ann, the owner, is awesome! We’ll be back for sure!

Our large three generation family was so excited to find this beautiful home that was big enough for us all, yet had a cozy feel to it. We loved the wonderful kitchen supplied with everything imaginable! The children had a great spot downstairs with a play area and plenty of rooms for sleeping . Upstairs, the large living room and cozy fireplace was perfect for gathering , playing games and watching football. Our hostess Ann was very gracious and so accommodating . You will not be disappointed in this wonderful home.

Great location to lake Placid and Whiteface mountain. House was very comfortable, owner a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend and will return again one day!!

This house is spectacular! We had a group of six couples and Arrowhead provided all of us space and privacy, yet offered various communal spaces for gathering, chatting, watching television, and playing cards and board games. We only wish we could have stayed longer. We hope to return in the years to come. Thank you Ann!!

Our family of 11 adults and 7 children enjoyed a wonderful 4 day stay at this beautiful, well maintained spacious home. Pictures do not do it justice! The minute you step in the door you are enveloped in the warmth of the house with the exposed timber frame and high rafters. It is very tastefully decorated with plenty of seating and living areas for everyone to relax. We all enjoyed the attached garage/game room, hot tub and fire pit. The house is very warm. I brought lots of sweaters but didn’t need to wear them. We were lucky to have a snow day which added to the “ski lodge” ambience. Anne, our host, greeted us upon arrival and walked us through the property to get us acquainted with the layout and all the amenities. She is gracious and accommodating and quick to respond to inquiries. The kitchen was well equipped with all the necessities to prepare and serve our Thanksgiving feast. Although there are houses nearby, the tall pines give you the feeling of isolation. Mirror Lake, shops and restaurants are a short drive away. We had such a wonderful time, it was hard to leave. Thank you Anne and Mea for sharing your beautiful home!
