This cottage was spacious, clean, and well equipped and we loved the decor.
Our family of six enjoyed our lazy days out by the water on the deck and in the water. We played together, and cooked together in the large and beautiful well equipped kitchen.
The beds were comfortable and the washrooms were modern and updated. We just loved the great room with the very high ceiling and ample seating for tv and conversations. It was a very relaxing, inviting retreat. Thank you David.

Had a lovely couple of days in a beautiful location in a super comfortable cottage. The cottage was the perfect size for us with a wonderful deck to sit on while enjoying the lake. Great location in terms of not too far from Toronto with lots to do in the area. Would certainly visit again.

This place was perfect for our family vacation. Modern and elegant with views of the water and a dock over the water to relax. Comfortable rooms, well appointed amenities and a kitchen worthy of a cooking show. Did I mention there was a Kayak to use too? Highly recommend, space for everyone to hang out or get privacy. Very special place, and close to many attractions.

Would highly recommend this cottage - - turn key - beautifully decorated and the location is ideal/ waterfront and clear water for swimming. We had record breaking temps the weekend we were there - it was the perfect place to spend a heatwave! Thank you for sharing you lovely cottage.

We really enjoyed our stay at this cottage. It was updated with beautiful decor, but still had a cozy cottage feel. We loved the large fireplace and well designed kitchen and overall layout. The view of the lake was beautiful. We liked the location being close to Friday Harbour, but also far enough away to enjoy a quieter more remote feel. Hope to come back one day!

This is a truly beautiful property which lent itself to a wonderful vacation. Well appointed decor and a cook's kitchen made it easy to prepare family meals. Space to spread out and lovely great room for time to relax together in front of fire. Dinning table for formal dinner and kitchen for sitting and playing games. Lots of walks in the neighborhood, and even on a cold day could sit by the water. Amazing that a piece of heaven is so close to home.

We had a great time in a great location. The Lakehouse offers a very modern well equipped kitchen where we were able to create some gourmet meals. There is a large dining room, and a very comfortable eating area in the sunroom. We truly enjoyed the many outdoor seating locations. There are a lot of extra touches that make the house a wonderful place to relax with all the comforts of home. However, the upstairs bedrooms are small, dark and have no place for your suitcase or accessories. We had to take a chair upstairs to help with this. Still a great place for a vacation.

This property is everything as noted on the website and then much more. It’s not hard to see that Francis and David take great pride in their home, everything is perfect. The cleanliness of the place is 5* and the kitchen is so well stocked. It’s such a great place to have family and friends comfortably over. There’s so much space for everyone. Being a cook I especially loved the layout of the kitchen; big enough for everyone to cook together! We were even fortunate enough to take a swim mid-September in the clear water of Lake Simcoe!
We can see why this place is already booked in 2012. This place is a gem and keeper in every way! Thank you Francis & David for sharing your home with us. Already booked for 2012!

Our second stay and it will not be the last. The property is every bit as lovely as it is portrayed and David and Francis are attentive and responsive hosts. We were here for nearly a month and hosted everything from our parents, to friends with a newborn. The property is a treat.

From initial interest, though check in and until we left- can’t say enough about how amazing the experience has been. David was responsive and helpful throughout. The home is stunning and was immaculate. The location is fantastic. Inside and outside are set up so well. So many places to sit and take in the view of the lake or watch a movie around the fireplace. Furnishings and supplies were all taken care of. Only regret is not booking for longer.

We had a great time at Dave's and Francis's house over Xmas , and it was a pleasure to stay there with our family. The description of the property on the web is great and had so much more that was not mentioned. We were celebrating a special birthday with my family and friends - two couples, three kids and one goldendoodle. It was a perfect extended weekend...could not have asked for a better cottage experience. Beautiful Lakehouse...great layout, nicely decorated, well appointed. So comfortable...absolutely perfect inside and out! Beautiful quiet mornings, waterfront views, great lawns to play on...and all a short drive from the city. In addition... the hosts of the Lakehouse were superb...so responsive and kind. Thank you for everything! We hope to come back one day soon. ❤️
