The faucet to the sink was broke, shower head rusty, room smelt like mold, hallways smelled like mold, bathroom wall had spots of feces on it, microwave plug wouldn't stay plugged, night front desk man sleep when we arrived and took his time unlocking the door and registering us. We had to ask for trash to be emptied and fresh towels. And one of the beds was broken. RUN FAST!!! we was not the only ones complaining.

Extreme mildew smell

The front desk male was nasty and rude on his personal cell phone. He didn't want to help us at all. He told the person he was talking to, " I need to help this customer." We told him that the Red Cross made our reservation due to an apartment fire. All he said was no reservation and went back to his personal call.

We stayed here for a music festival in Bridgeport and it was super convenient being only 13 mins away. The room was clean, beds weren't very comfortable. Some of the lights didn't work,but overall a safe and quiet place to crash after a 12 hr day!

Mold in room

The towels were not replaced after the first night. Also, the towels have seen better days and they should get new ones.

The place was dirty. Our room smelled like smoke. I wiped some water off the dresser and the cloth was black from dirt. There was something on my pillow that was disgusting. Looking almost like a bed bug.The staff were so unaware Of what was going on at the hotel that one told us that the pool was open And another told us it wasn't. Then we looked out at window and The pools was green And unusable. The reason why we booked that hotel was for the pool. We ended up having to go to the beach and spend foury dollars. Then we ended up with a parking ticket for $88. Because it was not clearly marked that there was a parking fee Aunt no one was around to collect any money. Please take them off your list of places to stay. I like using hotels.com But need to be able to trust them at the hotel will be in decent condition. I am unable to upload pictures on this website. It smells like urine near the elevator. Loud music till 2 am from other room. Smells like marijuana in the hall ways. Staff seems totally stressed out. Last resort place for me.

The front desk lady was RUDE ! And didn’t seem like she liked her job! The place smelled like mold and the whole hotel is dirty due to them not cleaning the carpets from having pets!!! Never again! Also the sheets were thin and if you didn’t have to AC on it was muggy!

The pool and gym were closed.

The staff was super friendly and nice. The room was clean- beds were clean- felt reasonably safe- Tv had no signal and light over the sink outside bathroom don’t work. Cheap room served its purpose for one night.

Listen I wasn’t expecting a grand experience but this is truly the worst place. Beyond gross. The room was dirty (yellowed towels, toenails on the floor, spiders along the vanity, rusty toilet). The entire building smelled strongly of weed and there was a constant revolving group of people hanging out & smoking in the parking lot. Neighboring rooms were noisy the entire night; bags of empty cans outside of doors the next morning. Zero sleep. This was also my first experience booking with Hotels and frankly I wouldn’t trust it again; the portrayal of this motel vs the real-life experience was downright deceptive. It showed a 6.4 “rating” which is clearly fake or outdated — a quick Google search for this Motel 6 shows the real reviews and they are all horrendous with nearly identical experiences. Absolutely do not stay at this motel.

The hotel smelled like mold

The employee did’nt even look at us, no smile or anything That was unclean and smelled bad

This hotel was filthy, as was the room. The room had all kinds of damage, the sheets looked like they’d already been slept in, ditto with the towels, and the whole place smelled moldy. In the morning, all our belongings felt damp from whatever was spewing out of the very loud ventilation system. Oddly, the beds were quite comfy, so we at least slept well ( on TOP of the sheets and blanket, certainly not under them), and hotfooted it out of there as fast as we could in the morning.We knew it wouldn’t be anything fancy, but expected it would at least be in good repair and clean. Nope. Do NOT stay here!!

The front said the pool was opened and when i went to go in the pool was locked and green..front desk was rude..

We only stayed there for a night because we couldn’t bare the bad smell of cigarettes all around the room and even after we asked for a room change the second room was worse they have shower curtains just thrown on the floor the water system wasn’t working just horrible

The room smelled like cigarettes all night very strong smell in the room, door didnot lock completely and all night someone was jiggling the door handle. Check out was bad noone was there to service you and they did not give a receipt.

Great hotel

perfect stay for what I needed it for. Had a concert in Bridgeport, wanted to be close to New Haven. Best of both worlds. One of the cleanest big chain places I’ve been.

very convenient to 95, 4 floors with inside hallways, decently clean. pool was open but didnt use. would stay again if in area.

Pool was green. Had to change initial room due to lamps hanging off walls. Ladtly, clerk collected a $10 cash security deposit. Next morning we were told they do not collect security deposits and we woyld have to wait for her to complete her audit before assisting us. Night clerk definitely pocketed the $10 otherwise why wasn't it noted in the sustem.

The pool was disgusting, not at all cleaned or taken care off. There was no bath towels, asked multiple times and was told there was none available . One of the worst hotel experiences ive ever had, would really like a refund or voucher for a future stay somewhere else.

Was OK for the price

I have stayed at quite a few hotels in the past 35 years of my adult life and Motel 6 in Milford, CT is one of the worst hotels I have stayed in. The interior looks like it’s falling apart. The plumbing is terrible. There is a language barrier with the staff if you only speak English (turned in all dirty towels and cloths and asked for replacement and only received 2 towels, then only received 2 washcloths after second attempt). They only have 1 washer and 1 dryer. There is no complementary breakfast at all. Also, hotel staff may attempt to walk into your room at 2 AM without warning, as they tried to do to us. That would’ve got them dropped if we didn’t have the latch on. Nobody should book a room here unless absolutely necessary.

Very uncomfortable, people live in the hotel and they hang outside the front entrance smoking and asking for things, has a meth vibe and the pool harbors a drug addict environment. I saw a women drinking pool side, sipping Jiegermister straight from the bottle. The entire place smells like weed. I witness a fight in the Parking lot and several disagreements amongst the tenants. The portable dumpster in the middle of the parking directly outside the pool, created a pleasant odor while I tried to sit outside by pool. The tv and 3 of the lights didn’t work in my room. My recent stay at the Motel 6 in Milford, CT ensures that I will never make hotel reservations with this establishment again.
