We didn’t stay. Room was not ready for more than 90 minutes after check-in time. When we went to retrieve the key, they tried to authorize another $85 after they already authorized $180 after we already paid on Hotels.com. They said that my credit card did not match my husband Credit card that was made reservation. I ended up leaving.

We loved staying here! The staff was very friendly. We stayed in the king suite and it was very cozy. The only downfall was that there was no microwave and they wanted $10 a night to add one. The private pools for the suites were incredible and overall it was a lovely place to stay.

Not grand at all. Room was okish, the bathroom and shower were one floor so when u showered you flooded the entire bathroom and the toilet area. Not worth the $400 for 2 nights and the resort fee was an additional $175 plus they made you do an additional deposit which at some point you get back. The water park was fun for the kids but i can take them to a different resort with way better prices.

Our time at the AZ Grand Resort was wonderful. We made lots of memories!! My only sugfestion is to make sure all the soap containers are filled in the bathroom and shower.

This resort was amazing. From check in, the spa, restaurants, the pool, and check out, everyone was so friendly and seemed to really care about your experience and making it positive and relaxing. The grounds are very well taken care of and the location was also perfect for us. I scheduled a massage and facials at the spa and it was amazing. I would highly recommend.

The phone was not working. The TV was not working. Property outage and not resolved during the stay. No credit offered.

I treated myself to two night here before having to move over to a hotel close to a conference for which I am in town. The staff was unbelievably nice; I had a guest come to visit who came to the lobby and wasn’t sure how to find my building. Someone jumped to give them a ride over on a golf cart which was great in that high heat!
Being able to do some work for a while in the room and then go take a turn around the lazy river was an ideal working vacation.
It is also extremely close to Arizona Mills mall, which came in handy.

Purchased the stay specifically for the water park resort. They wouldn't let us check in until 4pm. We checked in, went to the hotel and changed to swim gear and excitedly made our way to the water park. It closed at 5pm! We were not allowed to go! I told the desk amd they didn't care. I was still charged the water park fee even tho it wasn't usable. I was also charged 2 extra phantom 18 dollar fees that they could only explain were "convenience fees" place is a sham... Do not waste your time or money

The deluxe suit we booked wasn’t ready so they gave us a different room that I feel was a downgrade and definitely not worth what we paid. The shower tub combo is horrible. For the price we pay they should have a soaking tub and separate walk in shower. I couldn’t enjoy the tub at all. The amenities were great and had easy access to water park and adult only pool. Absolutely no parking near our room and no golf cart came to help us with the long walk to the room.

We had a great time at this beautiful resort. The only reason for not going with 5 stars was the limited parking spaces. The second night an overflow lot was made available that in our opinion should have been open much earlier. Second was lack of a fitted sheet over the mattress which was otherwise comfortable. Everything thing else is absolutely amazing, beautiful property, comfortable rooms, and an amazing water park and athletic/spa facility.

For it being a resort I didn’t expect to have to pay for water in the room. I expect complementary water at the least.
The shampoo, conditioner, & soap options were not the best. Marriott has great options maybe consider those. Over all I enjoyed my experience but would have been a 5 star with those options.

For the money spent , rooms need to be updated , please put a microwave inside rooms. The water slides need repairs, they were too rough on the back and uneven when sliding down. The lazy river had some rough spots. Check in online beats the long lines. Check out was great all online.

Lazy river was fun but crowded! Towels were easy to grab after pool time and the water by the pools were helpful. Room service came the first day but did not come the second day unfortunately. Room was nice, we had a pool view on one side of our window but had the parking lot view from our balcony. Bathroom was very small.

Beautiful property. We were allowed to move our room to be closer to others in our group. Major khudos to the staff. Villas were in far better condition vs the suites on the east side of the property. Parts of the resort required repair or were past keeping up. We would return in the future we really enjoyed the spa and athletic club.

It was miserable the staff was rude I think it was because we rent the room the hotels.com they treated us differently then the room was super hot ac did not keep the room cool hard to order room service they would not answer

Love the restaurants and the entertainment. Definitely needs an update as it has not been renovated in a vwry long time. Its in good condition but is a bit outdated

Our son loved the water park but that was about all that we considered nice. Our room was extremely dirty - the air vent was caked in dust and we had to call for a filter replacement almost immediately upon arrival. All the room fixtures had a layer of dust - the carpet did not seem well vacuumed - we found crumbs and Bobby pins. None of the room phones worked - tv remotes - only 1 worked. The hotel could be really nice but needs updating. If we had not had 12 hour travel day with various delays and a kid excited for the water park we would have left. At checkout we did provide feedback and were given 2 coupons for the Starbucks Nextdoor. Funny enough the coupon was only for coffee or tea - not a specialty drink. Oh well - we will not be back unless a major overhaul of the property.

The staff are very friendly. Check-in was smooth. They upgraded us without asking - huge bonus! The water park was worth the resort fee. The rooms are nice, clean, and ours was updated. We stayed in the villa resort. A couple of down items. There was a man who used a leaf blower to clean areas of the pool every morning at 630. I was forced to wake with him as he went on for 90 minutes each morning. Very annoying. The other down item was that cleaning occurred every 3 days. They reluctantly cleaned the room when ours was missed one morning because we stayed in the room until 11am. I wasn’t too happy about that. Otherwise, I would stay here again very soon. The kids loved it.

The unit next to the water park was convenient. The units were clean, comfortable, and modern. Will return.
